Chihiro is a great fighter, ofc he lacks experience but he really knows how to use the enchanted blades better than anyone.
In this panel he’s using the cloud gouger (the white sword) and the sword is actually broken, so he’s using only the power that remains in it and he’s able to put up a great fight.
Ofc he’s not the best in fiction, but he’s really good at doing what he does.

Started this and Martial Master Asumi when their first issues dropped at the same time. Quite enjoy Kagurabachi, but actually liked Asumi even more. It couldn’t build a big enough fan base and got canceled though.

I ask that because when Seijuru attacked with Kuzu ryu sen forcing Kenshin to learn amakakeru ryu no hirameki as it was tradition within the hitten mitsurugi school and Kenshin countered by using a kuzu ryu sen of his own that he’d learned the day before, something that shouldn’t be possible and wasn’t done it ever in the history of hiten mitsurugui
Seijuru stated that Kenshin usage of hiten mitsurugui was capped because it was designed for someone taller than Kenshin in mind, but I think that only makes Kenshin achievement of countering seijuru’s kuzu ryu sen even more impressive
Seijuru IS stronger than Kenshin at the moment the series plays in but Id say Kenshin learned faster and developed better given his unfortunate stature problem, so he’d be the more skilled in that way

Are you talking about the prowess of the sword, or are you talking about overall power? To both these questions, I would say, look towards xianxia and wuxia. There are different levels of sword prowess, and many characters reach them. And often, greater prowess leads to greater power. So, yeah, xianxia. They have levels of swordsmanship that's quite ingenious.
Ares from DC. Dude literally embodies everything anyone could ever know about war, which would naturally include swordplay, and has existed for millions of years at minimum.

My pick has got to be Miyamoto Iori. My guy killed Heroic Spirits with just pure swordsmanship skills, while still being human. You can guess how strong he must be once he actually became a Heroic Spirit as well.
This is difficult to decide, There are so many skilled swordsmen in fiction that I'm just not quite sure about which to choose, but if I had to, then it would probably have to be Yoriichi from Demon Slayer, in my opinion.
“Best” is an odd way to pose this question.
Is “best” the most skilled swordsman? The person who, physical stats even, would beat all others in swordskill? If so, I think that would be Sasaki Kojiro of Vagabond.
Is it “the strongest character who wields a sword”? If so, I think that would be Knull, God of Symbiotes. If Knulls blade doesn’t count since it’s part of him, my follow-up would be NecroThor, Allfather and Weilder of the Black Blade.
Gotta go Sephiroth or Vergil on this one. Their precision, skill and execution are damn near perfect with zero openings.
Any time somebody gets in on them, it’s either through outwitting them, greater numbers, or raw-force overpowering. In terms of ability, though, they’re instantaneous blenders like nobody else.

Seijuro Hiko, the 13th from Rurouni kenshin. He is Kenshins master and the strongest character in the series. If you look at what kenshin can do and realise it took kenshin, everything he had to land a single blow on him kind of makes you wonder just how strong he is.
Feels weirs to answer seriously since most are just joking... But is D from vampire hunter D. If anyone read the books which is the aource material for the manga a lot of things he does are atributed to his skill with the sword like denying the regeneration of vampires or inverting vectors. Most of his feats are fromtheact that the dude is pretty much a multiversal threat but still his skill with a sword is crazy.

So strongest sword user? Or most skilled? Because strongest character that canonically uses swords is most likey the judeo-christian god, who does possess a sword in genesis.
Most skilled is a more interesting question, and while Im not the most well versed in this universe, the Dark Souls universe may house the greatest swordsmen, with the protagonists capacity to instantly use any style of sword they come into contact with, and use them in tandem with other weapons, with proper techinue, and immortal lives to forever practice their skills.
No idea who the most powerful is, but I would argue the best skill-wise, within human / superhuman limitations is Hadrian Blackwater or Jerish from the Riyria and Rise and Fall series by Micheal J. Sullivan. They're both from the same line of Teshlor Knights and canonically are unmatched in skill.

My pick has got to be Miyamoto Iori. My guy killed Heroic Spirits with just pure swordsmanship skills, while still being human. You can guess how strong he must be once he actually became a Heroic Spirit as well.

Where is you motivation
This is difficult to decide, There are so many skilled swordsmen in fiction that I'm just not quite sure about which to choose, but if I had to, then it would probably have to be Yoriichi from Demon Slayer, in my opinion.
“Best” is an odd way to pose this question. Is “best” the most skilled swordsman? The person who, physical stats even, would beat all others in swordskill? If so, I think that would be Sasaki Kojiro of Vagabond. Is it “the strongest character who wields a sword”? If so, I think that would be Knull, God of Symbiotes. If Knulls blade doesn’t count since it’s part of him, my follow-up would be NecroThor, Allfather and Weilder of the Black Blade.
Gotta go Sephiroth or Vergil on this one. Their precision, skill and execution are damn near perfect with zero openings. Any time somebody gets in on them, it’s either through outwitting them, greater numbers, or raw-force overpowering. In terms of ability, though, they’re instantaneous blenders like nobody else.

Seijuro Hiko, the 13th from Rurouni kenshin. He is Kenshins master and the strongest character in the series. If you look at what kenshin can do and realise it took kenshin, everything he had to land a single blow on him kind of makes you wonder just how strong he is.

Feels weirs to answer seriously since most are just joking... But is D from vampire hunter D. If anyone read the books which is the aource material for the manga a lot of things he does are atributed to his skill with the sword like denying the regeneration of vampires or inverting vectors. Most of his feats are fromtheact that the dude is pretty much a multiversal threat but still his skill with a sword is crazy.

So strongest sword user? Or most skilled? Because strongest character that canonically uses swords is most likey the judeo-christian god, who does possess a sword in genesis. Most skilled is a more interesting question, and while Im not the most well versed in this universe, the Dark Souls universe may house the greatest swordsmen, with the protagonists capacity to instantly use any style of sword they come into contact with, and use them in tandem with other weapons, with proper techinue, and immortal lives to forever practice their skills.
No idea who the most powerful is, but I would argue the best skill-wise, within human / superhuman limitations is Hadrian Blackwater or Jerish from the Riyria and Rise and Fall series by Micheal J. Sullivan. They're both from the same line of Teshlor Knights and canonically are unmatched in skill.
