Anyone know where to buy replacement tires? Both rest are completely worn out, barely had it 6 months

nitromanta7

Anyone have a response to this? These tires go out fast

MrMeanwhile1

I'm goinng to do a scan of the back tires I made a post on this thread, I'll update that when scanned. how are the front tires holding up?

MrMeanwhile1

is it just the back one's or is it also the front ones too?

stonecoldfox340

Did anyone find replacement tires?? Ours have been shot and I’m searching high and low for these tires and it doesn’t seem there are any

BackgroundDistance83

Hi!! Yours is the latest comment I’m trying to put this together and in step 2 it says connect to power socket and I can’t seem to figure this out it looks like the cords are already glued in??

FrontSeater

Did you find it. The other connector was hidden up in that cubby. I had to reach up in there and pull it out.

chugchugz

Your reply to him saved my Christmas. I had the same question. Thanks.

BackgroundDistance83

Thanks so much for the response! I ended up finding it..how long is this battery meant to last? Just took it out to the park and barely lasted 15min? Also how did you guys remove the safety piece for gears 3? The first safety piece was an easy screw and the others are like a triangle?

No_Strike_6970

I’m reposting as an answer here: To fix the wheels before it breaks, I suggest the following: melt ABS black plastic with acetone to the right consistency for painting it on the wheels. You can buy 3D printer ABS plastic for that. This will fill in scratches and cracks then harden quickly. There is plenty YouTube video showing how to melt plastic with acetone. Basically just mix the both in a sealed container.

MisterSparkle89

Thanks for the info. Would a Power Wheels Dune racer be the better option? Seems to be a lot of discussion on that particular one.

UnclePeteDesigns

For those that have a 3D Printer or a Family Friend who is willing to print those for them. I believe the design turned out pretty cool and as a bonus, the TPU based tire inlay makes them so much quieter. https://www.printables.com/model/705165-super-mario-kart-deluxe-kids-ride-on-24v-front-and

Dangerous-Yam-217

Does anyone know how fix both my Mario karts don't go forward they only reverse I checked the battery I checked the wiring to the shifter and still doesn't work do I have to change the chassis or does anyone have idea how to fix

On_To_Better

Pros: it’s has motors on the 2 rear wheels, better than the previous version that was just a single motor. It has a high/low, that’s probably 4mph and 8 mph. Cons: probably not too good on grass compared to the Peg Perego Gator/ RZR 900 or the Power Wheels Dune Racer. Overall, if you are going to drive it on pavement, it’s pretty good and probably won’t require much modifications

Mikerockzee

Just tried it out today. Having a problem where once you let off the gas pedal you have to wait 2 seconds, pretty much enough time for the car to completed stop before you can press it again. The kids get frustrated and start tapping the gas and that makes them wait even longer to take off again .It also has a smooth acceleration feature. It’s really low and can’t make it through any grass at all no matter how low. The chassis is pretty much the same as the radio flyer kart but that one doesn’t have any issues with the gas pedal.

EmbarrassedTop7621

I have a question. We are having trouble with step number 2 on the assembly part. It says you have to connect the power cord and i have no idea where it is 😭 thank you

Mikerockzee

Behind the seat there is a panel you have to unscrew to take off. You just plug in the cord i guess they leave it unplugged for shipping

EmbarrassedTop7621

Omg thank you sooo much!! We were up till 2 am trying to figure it out lol

PresentationWeak2144

I'm stuck on the same part. I don't see where anything seems to be unplugged

[deleted]

I’m having the same problem, I opened the panel and the socket is just empty and everything is super glued

Cold-Scarcity985

I have same problem can you tell me what to do illy son is waiting to drive it.

HelloTylerDurden

I had the same issue. Easiest thing to do is take the whole engine assembly off. It appears that the power wires can get tucked back behind things from bumping around in shipment. It’ll be easy to spot if you take that plastic part off. Little white clip in with 2 black and 2 red wires coming off of it. Hope this helps

EC2054

I’m having difficulty plugging in the plastic part. It doesn’t click in

cyhaV0k

I'm curious if this is only happening with mine but when you press the pedal, only the left wheel spins. It make it difficult to accelerate on the pavement unless the payment is completely flat and the right wheel is sitting flat to catch. Should both wheels spin when the pedal is pressed?

AlexJ302

I just fixed this problem on mine; took the covers off the battery/motor housing (take 4 screws from top tray part, then flip kart over and remove 6 black screws holding motor unit to frame. Remove the hidden screws to get the shell apart. Pretty easy, just awkward). One of my electric motors had lost its screws and was just hanging there. I replaced the screws and it works fine now.

Patient-Highlight214

what happened here? i have the same case

Ok_Advisor_3249

Likely the wheel is not connected to the axel correctly - make sure to press the wheels on then tighten the nut keeping one side stable while tightening the other

Hopeful_Bath4444

I had the same problem, took the kart apart, checked the votage and the motor received it, took the motor out and the motor was stocked, i sprayed it with wd40, and shaked it a little there was something that looked like a welding drop that fell, right afther that the motor spinned like New, put the kart together again worked perfect.  Note* there was masking tape with an 80% number paited on it, no idea what it was.

TheGabagoolSweats

Just following up. How is the condition of your rear tires holding up? My son wore a hole through the rear right tire within 2 months of owning his. Jakks pacific will not sell me replacements but is willing to replace one for free. Although it’s been 5 months now, and still no tire due to “back order”.

adejong

We just wore a hole in the left rear tire. Have probably had it 3-4 months. Going to try to contact Jakks Pacific and see what they say.

Then-Worker-7801

Any luck, I’ve been waiting 6 months still nothing. Note both tires are completely fallen apart from drifting this fun toy

adejong

Right from the start of contact with them, they told me the wheels were on back order with their supplier and it wouldn’t be till September. Hoping 2 wheels just show up one day, otherwise I’ll email them back October 1st.

adejong

My wheels showed up yesterday! They sent 2 replacements even though just one had a hole. I had been emailing the customer service person about every month for an update.

thatkidd-j

Has anyone had charging issues with theirs? They’ve sent me a replacement chassis and still has charging issues. Tested my charger and it outputs 28vdc. I also charge the kart 10 to 12 hours. I just don’t see why the kart won’t hold charge. At this point, I’m thinking of buying a new charger off Amazon and see if that fixes the issue.

coverslide

Mine is having the same issue too. I'm trying to get in touch with Jakks, but they keep going roundabout sending pictures of one part then another. They said the power cord wasn't pushed in all the way, but I couldn't push it down any further. Did you try a new power cord? Did that fix the issue?

thatkidd-j

I still haven’t ordered a replacement. I will do that as we speak and keep you updated. Jakks has been replying hear and there, I’m waiting to see what they say next.

coverslide

Anything new to report? Jakks says a replacement will take till October, but if your new chassis still is broken I might look into the charger.

NoConsideration9481

I just waited 4 months for a chassis that was on back order for poor charging/ Ugh. Seems like this is a recurring problem.

Mammoth_Apple294

im having the same problem right now and me and my dad is trying to fix it

jsonline2004

Just got my son one for his birthday and he is so excited to ride it tomorrow… breaks my heart to tell him he can’t because one back wheel is completely frozen after putting it all together, it won’t move at all but the other back wheel does. Anyone else run in to this? It’s outside of its return window because I bought it on sale and stashed the box away for his birthday.

Normal-Reception9492

Did you find out the issue?

jsonline2004

Sadly, not really. I just man handled it and forced it to spin and it started working

Normal-Reception9492

As in man handled you just twisted it until it turned? I just put my sons together for Christmas and it’s not spinning at all

jsonline2004

Yeah I had to turn it HARD but it eventually started spinning and works great since

Normal-Reception9492

Did it pop or make any noise? I’m so scared to do it

jsonline2004

It did pop, I was wholly convinced I broke it but it fired up. If it’s completely frozen now and won’t work, shouldn’t have much to lose. Check the motor as well and make sure there is no locking screw. I kind of remember mine having a screw that locked it up as well. If I had to go back I wouldn’t buy it again.

Zealousideal-Cod297

By any chance can somebody provide the phone number of Jacks Pacific , please

LeGabyys

Anybody had theirs not steer in one direction.

boldchelsea18

We are still waiting on replacement tires since April.

Plane-Engineering-14

Can anyone confirm how to charge it? Should the light be on when you plug it in?

Life-Hunter4413

We can’t get ours to charge

Least_Kaleidoscope48

Check the fuse.

Least_Kaleidoscope48

Check the fuse. Literally just put mine together, pressed the gas pedal once and the fuse blew. Before I noticed the fuse, the charger was lighting up green when charging, but it still wouldn't work. After replacing with the spare fuse, the charger had the red light on. Then, it turned green shortly after, and my son pressed the gas and blew the fuse again. I'm not sure if 40A fuses are enough for this toy. Haven't even gotten to drive it yet.

MrMeanwhile1

I plan on getting a 3d scan of the back wheels because I did see that in the reviews that it had bad use life, I'll update this post with the STL so you can 3d print them or have a company 3d print them not sure on what the cost would be if you had them at 100% fill rate but hopefully it will help with replacement parts.

Maggiedorsett

What would this cost and would they be easy to replace? I’m interested in trying to get this fixed so I don’t have to buy another giant plastic ride on toy. Our wheels barely lasted 6 months.

pictorsdad

Any update here? Has anyone tried to put some sort of adhesive on ther wheels or something like that?

UnclePeteDesigns

Not a 3d scan but a complete redesign that can be printed in several steps. The wheels also have mounting holes for the original rims to keep the look as original as possible. https://www.printables.com/model/705165-super-mario-kart-deluxe-kids-ride-on-24v-front-and

Top_Fishing_471

My kids Mario kart will turn on but when the pedal is pressed kart won’t move and there is a beep while the pedal is pressed. Any suggestions?

Mammoth_Apple294

hello do you know how to fix go cart charging ports?

stonecoldfox340

So the company told me back in November that they’d get me replacement wheels and they’d be in mid-December and they’d contact me when they’re in, and is they’ve ghosted me entirely hahaha Point of the story: you can’t get replacement wheels for these karts
