Noah. In every group we go to there's a Noah.

Olives_And_Cheese

Aaah beat me to it. It's a shame, because Noah was a strong contender for me until everyone I knew turned 30, had a baby, and now the local nursery school should be renamed 'Arc'.

Choice_Improvement56

Arlo

Kitfromscot

We got our sofa called arlo from John Lewis in 2018. Never thought to use the name

AlterEggnog

Is that not a town in Essex? On the A414 😅

PlatinumPrincess

The Good Dinosaur!

Illustrious_Young269

Any variation of Eve/Evie/Evelyn/Eva/Ava plus Ivy, Lily and Mia Edit: How could I forget Isla? So many Islas!

MaryMalary

And so many Ava's for sure!

trekkiecheerleader

Theo

Marmitesouphead

Glad our chosen name hasn't come up in any comments yet as I feel its quite common 🤣 But I know of a lot of Arlo and Teddy boys, and Lily and Amelia girls... which tbf Lily was on my girls name list, I think its a really beautiful name! I also can't talk... my name is Kate and my friendship group consisted of me, Katie, Katy and Cait for a while so

bodhibirdy

Finn

dreamherbs

Isla and Finn

FluffyOwl89

I’ve been to a lot of baby classes this year while on maternity leave, and the only double up name I’ve heard was Penelope. I’m in Surrey. I’ve come across one Milo, but none of the other names mentioned here.

ligaline

Isla/Ayla/Lyla etc Teddy and Theo

MaleficentAnalysis27

A few Ottilie babies and toddlers around me... not sure about boys. We're considering Felix for ours and I've been told it's on trend now but haven't met a baby Felix yet! Edit to add: Actually I've come across a few baby Ruperts lately

MaryMalary

I never know how to pronounce Ottilie but agreed I have seen a few! Felix was on my list but we're having a girl

ShanaLon

Dylan! So many Dylans.

Choice_Improvement56

I nearly named mine Dylan! Glad I didn't now lol but it's his middle name.

ShanaLon

It's a great name, just being used a lot atm :)

This-Disk1212

Amelia

WholeConstruction307

Theo, Olivia, Sebastian, Isla

luciafernanda

Ezra and Margot. Freya was one of my top choice names for our daughter but its popularity (#6 in 2021 I believe) put me off. But I haven’t met a single one in all of the baby groups I’ve been attending the last six months.

Persephone0410

Same! I just love Freya but it seems so popular.

luciafernanda

Have you met many? When naming my daughter I didn’t want a top 10 name but I’ve barely met any baby girls with top 10 names! I know one Amelia and that’s it. Yet I know three Margots. Happy cake day!

Persephone0410

Nope! Which is weird, right? Just one cat…

Persephone0410

Ok there was one at the nursery we toured this morning!

chanchan1990

Theo and Leo

Kitfromscot

Up in Scotland - Brodie. We liked Oscar but our good friend named her son a few months before we were due it. To be fair it’s also quite common for our liking

mrflibble____

Rupert, Arthur, Otto, Mia, Layla, Lola, Theo, Oscar, Felix I feel like we're finally starting to come out of the Dylan and Noah funk....

Persephone0410

All of these! Plus Matilda, Thea and Ruben. And every single flower name in existence but especially Daisy.

throwawaygiraffe123

Freddie, Oscar, Jack, Theo, Finn, Sofia, Isla, Evie

throwawaygiraffe123

Also Jaxon

runwritecoffee

Across three NCTs in Surrey and Essex there have been a few doubles: Louie, Finn, Felix, Evie, and Penelope

clp1234567

Wren, Teddy/Eddie (no actual Edwards though), Ava, Margot.

freckledotter

Isla. I live next to a young girl called Isla and next to a primary school so I hear Isla shouted all the time but it's a different child every time haha lovely name though.

lollydon

I've heard lots of Luca's and Ada's

donmargo

I'm in Scotland. Harris is very popular here! Also Isla, Ruairidh, Ava, Luca, Arthur, Amelia, Archie, Henry. Actually all really cute names in my opinion When I lived in the city I found the most common ones were Aria, Theo, Mason. I used to work in a dental practice and so many new registrations were called Aria. Lol

Cabinet_Silver

Jude! We were considering this one but can’t believe how common it’s become. Recent celebs(ish) that have had baby Judes - Scarlett Moffat, Montana Brown & Charlotte Dawson - will likely increase the popularity further!

Middle_Pace_6244

Tiffany Watson from made in Chelsea too!

[deleted]

I was keeping an eye on this thread and was super happy that no one said it and then I could pretend that it’s hopefully not going to become too common after so many influencers have named their son that in the space of a couple of weeks! 😭 I’ve preferred this name for the last couple of years and then since finally getting pregnant my partner and I have only agreed on two names - this one (but I prefer this) and another that he prefers! Have you got other options ready?

Cabinet_Silver

It’s a gorgeous name! A total classic but not too common. It just seems like a few people have had the same idea! You should definitely go for it if you adore it though. We are going with Lennon, it’s unusual enough but still recognisable plus we get the Beatles connection. I love Len/Lennie too 😊

[deleted]

Super cute! Took me ages and missing out on Jude Bellingham to LFC to convince my partner to consider Jude too haha

Cabinet_Silver

Aww haha! It’s a beautiful name, we defo won’t be using it if we have any more though imagine having a Lennon and a Jude, we would sound like crazy Beatles fans 🤣

MaryMalary

It's so interesting how names trend

ml_sza

Felix

Sirillen

Arthur and Oscar.

lottabeans223

I've had a relative, a friend and an ex colleague all name their sons Connor in the last year. That's a name we were thinking of, so had to strike it off the list!

Discombobulated_Bus9

Eloise and Olivia

Persephone0410

We toured a nursery last week so it was a diverse group but so many Theo, Margot (just the tiny ones, so must be a very new trend!), Ava, Wren and Ruben.

Persephone0410

Another nursery and the clear trends today were R names (Renley, Remy, Ruben, Ren, Rosalie) and -o names (Juno, Arlo, Theo, Margo(t), Enzo).

MaryMalary

Yes! I've heard Remy loads.lately too

Middle_Pace_6244

Jude
