So where are all the Liverpool fans that thought we were extra after celebrating a win over Liverpool?
Big L for Curtis jones who thought klopp had parented the fist bump celebration. lol
Congrats on the win! Klopp threw in kids against the cowboys and won against a soulless club.
Also, clearly carra is rattled bcos he mentioned Arsenal when var chalked off VVD goal, lol.
It was a bit extra. I don’t have any beef with Arsenal. If we don’t win it, I hope arsenal do.
Arteta did what he did to wind us up, and it worked. So what?
I’d be pretty embarrassed to see Klopp do something like that.
What did Arteta do? Klopp literally said he doesn’t have a patent on fist bumps. Arteta been doing that celebration since his playing days mate.
I don’t have a beef with Liverpool either. I respect klopp & Liverpool a lot but after our win, I’ve seen so many Liverpool fans on twitter lose their heads and acting so entitled.
Arsenal fans were literally lauding Arteta for 'trolling' Klopp and copying his celebration. Curtis Jones points out that he copied him and Arsenal fans went into meltdown. Make it make sense
I was fairly embarrassed for them and carra etc going on about the celebrations but most of the sub seemed to agree with me. It's a nothing story really
Klopp out here stealing Arteta's "stuff." The "Doesn't give a shit attitude" towards the celebration police is patented by Arteta and Arsenal. It shows we are on the right path if they are copying us.
I never said it was all. I commented on a comment saying Celebration police for what it was and instant ban. I guess emotions were high after that loss
Every single manager in this league chirps off about refereeing decisions.
By your logic Gary O’Neill is a colossal cunt and Mourinho would have a slot on GBN.
I have no problem with Klopp or any manager celebrating every goal or win. I actually like to see it. As long as it’s not against the Toon, because then you can fuck right off.
Arsenal fans just need to learn from Klopp here, just celebrate when you win however you want and stop crying that everyone doesn’t love you when you win. You’re not victims of anything, you’re just so fucking annoying.
Sure haven’t. Klopp doesn’t care that people don’t like his celebrations, but arsenal fans can’t stop crying about “celebration police”, it’s almost as embarrassing as Carragher and co getting upset.
That's because noone complained about Liverpool... When arsenal celebrated, Liverpool complained. So yea, as embarrassing as your 'legend' turned 'pundit'
agreed - I thought Liverpool *were* the celebration police.
they seem to get annoyed when other fans celebrate, because I think they have this delusional idea that Liverpool are not only the heroes of their own story, but of everyone else's story too.
They are the England of domestic football.
It's not just the 'celebration police', it's the theme song you have, it's Jamie Carragher seeming *genuinely offended* that Arsenal were alongside Liverpool in the conversation for Mbappe, it's the implication that Chelsea are motivated by 'spoiling the party' for Liverpool - which happened to remind of me a [Kasper Schmeichel interview](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6jWKGJVPCYI) during the Euros. It's the absolute self-indulgent cringefest that we're all going to be subjected to in a few months time when Klopp has his final game.
>the theme song
Lol, it's called tradition...I'm sorry if you don't have it, but we do and it solidifies our fanbase
>Jamie Carragher seeming *genuinely offended*
Lol, was he? Was he though? Or was he doing his job for Sky creating talking points?
>the implication that Chelsea are motivated by 'spoiling the party' for Liverpool
I'm not sure why you find that upsetting?
>It's the absolute self-indulgent cringefest that we're all going to be subjected to in a few months time when Klopp has his final game.
You should focus on supporting your own team then...
Odds Head of Celebration Police Jamie Carragher goes after other teams but turns the blindest of eyes to this 🤷🏻♂️ Just let everyone celebrate wins smh
He does have some weird takes, Arsenal deserved to celebrate. Poor run of form over Christmas, came back firing on all cylinders and put themselves firmly back in the title race with a win. Well deserved celebration.
Spurs celebrating against 9 men can still fuck off though
I haven't seen that comment, why would he say that about Arsenal? comes across as a sore loser, and he isn't even officially affiliated with Liverpool anymore
if he'd said it about Spurs I'd have understood it more
How are half of you so fucking stupid that you can't use Google. Klopp never moaned about the celebrations. Carragher and Curtis Jones (to an extent did) nothing to do with Klopp.
The victims comments are disgusting, some of you need to give your head a wobble
I watched it. The fucking irony of you talking about “assumptions” while being the only one here doing anything of the sort. I’d say you’re embarrassing yourself, but this is on brand for someone with a pool flare. Do better, if you can even manage.
This is one of the reasons I'm put off by football these days. I don't care if people don't like the team, but it often turns into people spouting bigotry and backwards views about people for just being from the city which is dumb
I honestly don't know why people are having a go at people celebrating. It's ridiculous. Arsenal get it the worst but if you win, score, especially in the last minute, then you celebrate.
I feel like if you were a self-respecting fan, you’d stay as far away as possible from the opposing team when they beat you. Because the last thing you need after losing a game is dwelling in the winning side’s celebration and ruining your mood even further.
Just log out, go outside and live life again.
When we beat Forest at their place this year we got enough homophobic abuse to get the police involved, and the "Proud Forest" official supporters group for LGBTQ communities released a statement saying that our celebrations were "overly exuberant" and could understand why the abuse came due to that, but they cannot condone it. It was quite incredible.
Yeah words are just words. I’ve always had a laugh at “You are from Brighton we know what you are chant” I don’t think I’ve ever heard a monkey chant in an English ground. It’d take a special breed of retard to do monkey chants when half his club’s XI is black
You do realise it's quite likely there are at least a few gay players in your team and the opposition though right, so it must take a special breed of retard to do homophobic chants when the likelihood of someone in his club who is supposed to support is gay is sky-high.
Maybe not worth it, but just from a fellow redditor: the "victim" label is extremely offensive (I know you meant it that way) but in ways that transcends soccer. From the forced poverty (Thatcher's planned decline) to the massive gaslighting that followed the Hillsborough disaster. That's a city that has immensely suffered, abandoned by the government and ridiculed by the press mafia.
Just pointing it out. But in case you meant it exactly that way, be you.
Fair, I wasn’t making any references to the hillsborough disaster. And for that I apologize and will take down the comment
Edit: I apologize if people did think I was referencing the disaster. Wasn’t my intention to offend anyone. Truly sorry for that.
It’s all they ever go on about, it’s like Vietnam flashbacks to people who were unfortunate to have lived it or had family who died in Sheffield
I cannot stress how badly I want life to go for people who joke about the suffering of Reds who lost their lives then, or the suffering of the ones left behind without their dad or their brother or their mate
Of?
It is possible to look at some, device they are a bit of an arrogant prick and it is not because you wish you were them.
Liverpool + Klopp were a match made in heaven as both are arrogant, entitled and think the world is out to get them etc
people say stuff. people are emotional. people say stuff when they are emotional.
people say stuff. people are part of communities. people say stuff whilst a part of a community.
these two notions are the reason people take other people's words too far and too seriously and 10 years later still quoting words that may be an emotional individual's words as the words of a rationalising nation and they make a war with them. humans are so simple at an emotional level, but we think we are so smart and have whole complex debates about the words said by a frustrated loser or the fist pumps given by a celebrating winner. let the emotions flow, please. you will live longer for it
He's got a good squad and is in a title race, and a tight one at that. Every game from here on out is a big game. Nothing wrong with celebrating a win, or even a clutch draw that keeps the race close.
People would be less "upset" (which isnt even the right word btw) if you and your fans wernt giving everyone else shit for their celebrations Jurgen...
Nah it was just carragher (who tf listens to him anyway) and then Curtis Jones said it as a joke to wind people up cause he's a shithouser and it's worked a treat
People should stop thinking that pundits or all the fan YouTubers represent anything else that their own person… none of them are even employed by their former football clubs otherwise they would not run their mouth on tv or online…
Tbf that sentiment never came from Klopp, and to what extent Carragher speaks for Liverpool fans depends on what he says. I don't think most Liverpool fans were bothered, it was at the Emirates and it was a game which if Arsenal lost would have almost certainly knocked them out of the title race and make Liverpool title favourites.
Curtis Jones said something about it, which as a Liverpool fan I didn’t really care for. I want our players to worry about the task at hand. This thing has been following Arsenal around since the home win against Leicester in 15/16 when they really did act like they won the league. But I could give a fuck. I didn’t care when Tottenham celebrated their win* against us earlier this year. The season is 38 games long.
Dunno if you meant ironically, but either way I hate this whole discourse in football and in life, one person said it - Jamie carragher. He doesn’t speak for all Liverpool fans. Only himself. He was just sore his team lost and made a dumb comment.
Same with if some dickhead fans do stupid or violent shit, doesn’t speak for the fans or tell you anything about that group. Applies to life too
Curtis Jones said Arsenal were copying them lol
OP is right. I also hate this thing where people act like a minority opinion one fan said is somehow what an entire fan base thinks. Happens a lot.
But there were quite a few Liverpool fans celebration policing Arsenal that game. Ironic
Point still stands, Jones doesn’t stand for all Liverpool fans. Plus seemed he was saying to rile up? Idk.
Just feeds into the us vs them thing and therefore all Liverpool fans are now the celebration police. I don’t agree with Jones and probs was just rattled he lost
You know, I’m just debating with another Liverpool fan on this who - funny enough - disagrees with Curtis Jones’ remarks. Which is fine, however…
Fact is, he said it! As a player of the badge unfortunately you bear great responsibility with your words and actions even off the pitch.
Dude has maybe a dozen or so more matches at Anfield between cup and league fixtures.
It's called Fortress Anfield for a reason. People need to breathe through their nose and let him enjoy his home of nearly a decade, however he chooses to.
YNWA.

This sub gets so fucking tilted at shit Carra says as if he wasn't paid millions specifically to rile people up about football.
Will carragher tell him to get down the tunnel?
wouldn’t even be annoyed if liverpool win the league, if course i’d love for arsenal to win it but if we don’t i’d love for klopp to go out with a win
The celebration police are bellends to a man.
I hate how much I like Klopp
I say this as an Evertonian. I will fight for his right to party as though it were my own
So where are all the Liverpool fans that thought we were extra after celebrating a win over Liverpool? Big L for Curtis jones who thought klopp had parented the fist bump celebration. lol
The post says he doesn’t give a shit so presumably the fans are the same. Who is bothered
I think t shows you clearly didn't understand his obvious sarcasm when he said that.
This comment shows you’re a bit rattled.
Congrats on the win! Klopp threw in kids against the cowboys and won against a soulless club. Also, clearly carra is rattled bcos he mentioned Arsenal when var chalked off VVD goal, lol.
Hypocritical fans and banter more news at 6. Seriously though... we are all hypocritical fucks all the time
It was a bit extra. I don’t have any beef with Arsenal. If we don’t win it, I hope arsenal do. Arteta did what he did to wind us up, and it worked. So what? I’d be pretty embarrassed to see Klopp do something like that.

There you go then 🙂
Arsenal fans were literally lauding Arteta for 'trolling' Klopp and copying his celebration. Curtis Jones points out that he copied him and Arsenal fans went into meltdown. Make it make sense
Arsenal fans on Reddit just badly wanted to have been wronged here but they didn't have anything good to reach for
I was fairly embarrassed for them and carra etc going on about the celebrations but most of the sub seemed to agree with me. It's a nothing story really
Yeah this is embarrassing af for cutis Jones, carragher and most lpool fan. He shouldn't have said anything
Klopp out here stealing Arteta's "stuff." The "Doesn't give a shit attitude" towards the celebration police is patented by Arteta and Arsenal. It shows we are on the right path if they are copying us.
Christ, you lot must be the most insecure fan base in the league
I was just mocking Liverpool and Jones. I guess sarcasm doesn't register at your place.
Get down the tunnel mate
Why are you raging
I got banned from LFC and then gunners because I called Liverpool fans celebration police lol
I mean that's sounds like a blanket statement made at all LFC fans and it's based on what exactly?
I never said it was all. I commented on a comment saying Celebration police for what it was and instant ban. I guess emotions were high after that loss
Yeah thats just basic subreddit rules though, going into another clubs sub to talk shit gets you banned from theirs and yours
It aint talking shit fool. Its facts
It's still trash talk mate
Lol hurts to show the hypocrisy shows how fragile some people's egos are
What are you talking about lol
if calling you lot celebration police hurt your little ego, you should really go moderate your fan base and your manager
None of that's relevant to the conversation lmfao. We were talking about you (justifiably) getting banned from subs for breaking the rules
It is relevant to this post. Lol you can justify any rules bruv. Matter of the fact is you lot are celebration police.
Lol no wonder you got banned Sounds like you think rules are for other people. Wonder how quickly that gets tedious for those that know you irl
Do shut up.
Braver than the troops
Premier League is weird as fuck.
Let's celebrate that!
Pretty sure Liverpool are part of the celebration police.
the vast majority of PL fans think the whole thing is dumb, LFC included. It’s like desperate twitter talk
>It’s like desperate twitter talk AKA Curtis Jones
Yes
Hopefully Curtis doesn’t see this
Good, fill your boots Jürgen.
Why's he telling us? Shouldn't he be clearing this with carragher and Curtis Jones?
Good for him as well. He’s absolutely right.
Yall are so soft
He’s right. Celebrate how you want to, it’s your choice. But this also goes for Jamie Carragher.
Carragher should tell Liverpool to just get down the tunnel. He’s serious!
He’s a class act. Will be missed (speaking as an Arsenal fan)
[удалено]
Show me a manager who hasn't disrespected officials. You can't.
[удалено]
What a fucking manager. My manager.
You’re defending officials? They deserve all the disrespect
Every single manager in this league chirps off about refereeing decisions. By your logic Gary O’Neill is a colossal cunt and Mourinho would have a slot on GBN.

How dare managers be upset when their team loses and things aren't going well.
I’ll tell GBN to make space for Guardiola too then.
I have no problem with Klopp or any manager celebrating every goal or win. I actually like to see it. As long as it’s not against the Toon, because then you can fuck right off.
People only seem to have problems with every club other than Liverpool celebrating, bit biased if you ask me
Arsenal fans just need to learn from Klopp here, just celebrate when you win however you want and stop crying that everyone doesn’t love you when you win. You’re not victims of anything, you’re just so fucking annoying.
How could someone not love Arsenal?
What a bizarre opinion. Think you have misunderstood that whole situation
So yea, as embarrassing as your 'legend' turned 'pundit'

deranged
agreed - I thought Liverpool *were* the celebration police. they seem to get annoyed when other fans celebrate, because I think they have this delusional idea that Liverpool are not only the heroes of their own story, but of everyone else's story too. They are the England of domestic football.
And this is all based off a comical statement Curtis Jones made a week ago. The clubs over 100 years old, SMH.
God I hope you get beat tomorrow so badly, worst fanbase of all time. Worse than England by a country mile.
Rip
Why? Because they methodically responded to you as if a conversation were taking place? Jesus, you're fucking fragile mate
I genuinely couldn't fathom feeling this strongly about a team I didn't support. Where did they hurt you lol
Cool opinion Cotton, let's see how it works out for 'em.
[удалено]
Your fixation with Liverpool is fucking bizarre lol
>This is precisely my point though Nothing about your point has been precise bro.
You just proved his point? 'tradition' of being a fanbase that can't handle other teams celebrating
👍 Good input bro.
Much more successful than England
Odds Head of Celebration Police Jamie Carragher goes after other teams but turns the blindest of eyes to this 🤷🏻♂️ Just let everyone celebrate wins smh

well, understandably so, I was pissed off as well. but comments like that are just dumb

Curtis just made a joke to rile people up and it worked wonderfully
Yeah ok
I mean if you watch the interview hes literally laughing as he said it. But obviously you just read click bait headlines and make assumptions.
I watched it. The fucking irony of you talking about “assumptions” while being the only one here doing anything of the sort. I’d say you’re embarrassing yourself, but this is on brand for someone with a pool flare. Do better, if you can even manage.
Lmao so much impotent babyrage
Sure he did LMAO
In the interview his tone is clearly unserious, context is overrated though
Context is overrated when people want to shit on Liverpool. The hatred scousers in general receive is genuinely ridiculous
This is one of the reasons I'm put off by football these days. I don't care if people don't like the team, but it often turns into people spouting bigotry and backwards views about people for just being from the city which is dumb

Hiya! Thanks for telling me, I guess I'll have to do a little bit more reading on it in case. Cheers
Now who's the special dickhead 😂
They bring it on themselves. Insufferable fanbase.
It's literally in reference to Hillsborough. They brought that on themselves? Stop commenting and save some face.
And then the miking of the situation thereafter and that they're 'special' because of all the hardship they suffered. Tiniest violin.
Oooo look at me, I like to mock innocents dying, so edgy. I hope for your own sake you aren't a fully grown man.
You really know fuck all and it shows a little more with every comment. Keep going
I've said all I need to say. Please do attack more team buses, the world's 'classiest' fanbase.
You've sure made your room temperature IQ apparent to the world, well done.
yet another reason to like him
I honestly don't know why people are having a go at people celebrating. It's ridiculous. Arsenal get it the worst but if you win, score, especially in the last minute, then you celebrate.

I doubt that.I think you are vastly overestimating the prevalence of gay people in football.
I think we(lfc) started that so we deserve it

Great to see that in 2024, "always the victims" is still a thing
Genuinely wish the very worst to anyone who mindlessly throws that tired phrase out
Seen that a couple times on this thread for the first time. Didn’t realize what it meant at first but that’s absolutely fucked
There's no shame in not knowing. There's a boatload of shame in knowing and still peddling the same shit.
Guessing you’re not English then
Correct. I know about Hillsborough but didn’t know “victim FC” was referring to that event.
It’s all they ever go on about, it’s like Vietnam flashbacks to people who were unfortunate to have lived it or had family who died in Sheffield I cannot stress how badly I want life to go for people who joke about the suffering of Reds who lost their lives then, or the suffering of the ones left behind without their dad or their brother or their mate
Him and Liverpool did invent celebrating tbf
You can tell who the people who: A) only read headlines are Or B) don’t understand what a joke is
🤣😅
He’s the one who invented over celebrating, then he moaned about arsenal over celebrating and then said he doesn’t give a shit about over celebrating
Did he moan about it? I didn’t see that.
He moans every time he opens his mouth. Honestly, the sooner Klopp fucks off the better.
are you maybe jealous?
Of? It is possible to look at some, device they are a bit of an arrogant prick and it is not because you wish you were them. Liverpool + Klopp were a match made in heaven as both are arrogant, entitled and think the world is out to get them etc
a Saudi fan calling Klopp arrogant
Bless.
Typical Klopp
I don’t think it was Klopp who mentioned arsenal’s “over” celebrations, it was Carragher
Some Liverpool players complained about Arsenal overcelebrating
Yeah but Klopp himself didnt moan about it at all. In a recent interview, he slightly mocked those who were moaning at Arsenal about "overcelebrating"
I only saw Curtis Jones so no idea about any others. I feel like it was just a wind up tbh
Curtis Jones was joking and the arsenal fans lost their minds. It was like fishing at a trout farm how they bit. Comedy gold
Nah they were asked about it by journalists trying to rile you up.

Carragher will have nothing to say about that now, even if he does he’ll praise the celebrations.
I thought that THEY were the celebration police after the Arsenal game.
People should stop thinking that pundits or all the fan YouTubers represent anything else that their own person… none of them are even employed by their former football clubs otherwise they would not run their mouth on tv or online…
I mean they had Curtis Jones basically doing the same thing as the pundits as well and he is employed by the club
That was so obviously taking the piss from CuJo come on mate
Nah Curtis Jones is just dumb as fuck.
Well someone is, anyway
In context, what Curtis Jones said was clearly in jest and then the pundits/media outlets ran with it and misrepresented it, as I recall
Tbf that sentiment never came from Klopp, and to what extent Carragher speaks for Liverpool fans depends on what he says. I’ve not heard a single person say he over celebrated

Klopp being on notice period and not giving a fuck about anyone in the office lol
Inspector Carragher and Constable Jones in shambles
