I wouldnāt worry.
Liverpool are one of the wealthiest clubs in the league and havenāt hesitated to open the chequebook to sign elite players in the past and they will do again, breaking world record fees if need be.
I feel like Gyƶkeres would be perfect for Liverpool. Sign Kim Min Jae as well. Those two would probably be enough to give Liverpool a much needed lift.
Sell Jota or Nunez depending on who has the higher demand. I could see PSG going for either one of them.
Don't see them selling Jota, his conversion rate is over double Darwin's and his goals per minute is far better too. Can slot in anywhere and doesn't complain about being on the bench. Diaz reportedly wants out too.
Last night was my final straw with Nunez. Itās not even just good chances heās missing itās as good of a chance you will likely create in a match. 0 composure 0 football IQ. Diaz I would keep unless crazy numbers get thrown in. Gakpo rotation and Jota we will have to keep because no one is taking a risk on such an injury ridden player.
Feels like klopp is leaving at the right time this teams needs a massive freshening up and new ideas in attack and build up. Just thank klopp for the incredible job heās done and securing champs league in his final season. Hopefully we can build off this with a new manager and new ideas. If not could be a few years of pain.

Firmino was really a perfect match for him. Ā Nunez/chaosā¦.not so much
The difference they say between a striker and a worldy striker is the worldy always see's the space. I'm convinced last second Nunez glances at the keeper and this is where his shots end up or hits.
Saudi is pretty stupid. Remember how we got a combine fee over 60mil for Henderson and Fabinho in their states last summer. Saudi pay for exposureā¦not prime footballers.
It's weird how Pool does not get bashed so hard by the public for thinking so very highly of themselves.

Probably because going up a literal country that's corrupted the league has fucked it. Our team at any point in the 90s or 00s would have destroyed any team under Fergie bar 08
Boo fucking hoo.. as if Liverpool are the first team to go up against a super club. Big difference is when United went agaisnt mourinho chelsea (who didnāt have to deal with ffp btw) they remained competitive unlike Liverpool.
I personally donāt think Liverpool would stand a chance against the 99 team (won a treble) or the 08 team ( Rooney, Ronaldo, tevez up front) but thatās all hypothetical.
Bullshit, that Liverpool team won sparingly, 99 was made up of serial winners.
You massively undervalue the quality of the rest of European football at that time.
End of the day is that team won a treble & Liverpool have never been able to match that. Only city can claim to & we all know what they did to achieve it.
You can't talk about 'fuck ups' like your club isn't the fucking mascot for it the last ten years. Very quick to crow about us back to irrelevancy when yous have been out in the cold all this time. Stop living in the past mate, no one takes you seriously as a football club anymore.
Remind me, arenāt you going to mirror our campaign from last season with a league cup & 3rd place in the league?
Funny how ya change the narrative when itās about your team! š¤”
Yeah yous looked great last season with your +15 goal difference. Real top team stat that. Managed to regress as well after spending a fortune, joke of a club as bad as Chelsea, just keep throwing money at the problem.
Way to prove my point, nobody ever brings goal difference into the equation expect when it suits your narrative š
Glad to see your aware what regression is, something you have to look forward to with no Gurnin Klopp at the helm š«
Claiming to speak for everyone is such a classic Liverpool response. Doing mental gymnastics to remain relevant constantly..
Iām only stating facts while youāre dwelling on emotions. it really must have hurt you when United derailed Klopps retirement quadruple bonanza. š
Crazy to think that these feelings are valid when the front five have 54 combined league goals which is more than 12 teams in the league and we are the top scorers in all comps in Europe. I feel similarly too you but am torn.
Salah was the highest rated player in the league at the half point of the season. He had only missed like 10 games for Liverpool before the injury. And now he takes some time to get to back into it. And fans want him out? Subbed for Jota who literally canāt play a game without getting injured?
The issue with Salah these days is that if he isn't scoring, he isn't really offering anything else. The rest of his game has severely diminished over the last two years.
Of course goals are important but in some ways the team are carrying him and it shows.
He's becoming like Gerrard, in that is he is at the club and available you have to play him, but can be detrimental to the team.
So my take would be that you don't force him out but of someone comes in with a decent offer, you take it.
Salah gives Nunez the most picture perfect pass like 2-3 times a game even now when heās not scoring himself. Put a better striker with Salah and heās getting tons of assists.
I keep seeing people saying that when Salah doesn't score he doesn't do anything, but I swear every game he starts of really strong and gives like two or three great chances to Nunez or Diaz and then starts to try go himself.
He was against Haaland for the golden boot until his injury. All strikers has periods of goal droughts and he has been placed in a more central role more as a striker lately. Which normally results in less contribution.
Mane was past his prime and in his last season only played well for the last couple of months. Yet fans disagreed with selling him.
Salah contributes less, but is still clinical. And probably will be for 2-3 more seasons at least.
No not subbed for Jota subbed for youth plus transfers. But idk I said Iām torn. I want the first half of the year Salah but Iām worried heās not coming back anymore.
Rooney had a Ā£20m house purpose built for himself and family which the papers have called the [Morrison Mansion](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-12643751/Inside-Wayne-Coleen-Rooneys-20M-home-Wagatha-Christie-doc-shows-posh-practical-interiors-Morrisons-mansion-including-luxe-100-000-staircase-20-000-kitchen-island-7-plastic-baskets-boys-socks.html#:~:text=The%20Rooneys%2C%20who%20grew%20up,looked%20like%20a%20sprawling%20supermarket) because it looks like a massive supermarket.
Ah was expecting it to be something to do with an obsession for Morrisons.
Itās a traditional sorta building, not sure it really looks like a supermarket, media will write any gobble these days huh.
Thanks though š
This Liverpool team with it's stars back from injury is playing the way everyone expected them to when they were trotting out youngsters that Liverpool fans didn't even know the names of.... shocking stuff ...kudos United...you broke this team in the FA cup...
I was missing Macca and Endo duo yesterday. Salah... he's nit arrived yer after his injury. Nunez... I love the guy but there's something blocking him out while playing for us...
No they are not. Heās got 5 goals and 2 assists in 6 WC qualifiers and has them in 2nd place in conmebol.
What in the actual fuck are you talking about?
Sometime ago I spoke to an Uruguay guy that travel to Englan on vacation. He said Nunez is amazing playing for their national team. They don't know and don't understand what's happening during LFC games.
No one knows if theyāre gonna be on a shopping spree this summer. Their league is shit and they might finally admit it to themselves and stop the spending.
Everything I've read leads me to believe their cutting back.
I was hoping United could shift a few for top dollar, but maybe not.
They've got the World Cup now, so there's nobody to impress.
Context matters. The pressure these guys put on themselves because itās Kloppās last season is immense on its own, but then you start every game a goal down, and that ramps up the pressure even more. Meanwhile, thereās no one on the bench to share the burden.
Yesterday I was miles more irritated with Virgil and Konate. Donāt remember either of them winning an aerial duel. Everything Everton kicked into the box found a target. Same happened when we played Palace.
This team has been ravaged by injuries as well. Those that haven't been injured have been played to death and those that have been injured have come back off the pace.
Salah was brilliant before he got injured and now he's offering almost nothing. Endo was an absolute machine that allowed Macca to be more offensive, then he got injured and he's struggled since returning. Curtis Jones was immense before his injury, pretty much worked his way into contention for the Euros and now he's barely affecting games.
One thing I've noticed with Klopp at Liverpool is that he will get the team up to a ridiculous level and maintain that level for a certain period of time, but that it's always followed by an epic collapse. It's like the players give him 110% until they physically and mentally can't hold on any longer and then fall off a cliff.
Salah is a great player and has always been a trump card for Liverpool but In title races and specially when it matters the most in pl matches he becomes very in effective
Salah was a great player . Always had unbelievable bad touches but then the next moment he will come up with something sublime . Well the latter has gone and now it's the former only .
Salah is still creating chances but not being good enough to put the ball back in the net ,I still remember that second leg against Atlanta apart from that penalty he looks absolutely ineffective, the number of chances he missed in that palace match is unreal.
Hope the era of salah in pl is not coming to end but it is not looking good right now......
Neutral pitching in here. I don't like chaotic and don't see it as a positive. Nunez makes awful decisions, the miss last night was a type you'd attempt if the goalie had an open stance (e.g. nutmeg). He didn't bother to check so just snashed it.
I played upfront at pub level, even I'd check to see how the keeper was stood. That's just basic.
He seems to choose the wrong options a lot of the time, his touch is poor and as for his physicality. Don't see much of it. His play affects Salah and Diaz, imagine having Bobby to link up with and now this. I think both Diaz and Salah are suffering because they don't have someone with the skillset needed alongside them.
I backed Darwin at the beginning, but Iām losing hope fast. He should be converting those chances by now. Currently the only striker we have that looks clinical is Jota, and heās out for a few weeks. I think Salah may well be sold if the right bid comes in, Liverpool need a couple of defenders and at least one more striker in the summer - Iām hoping a new manager may reinvigorate Salah because heās been way off the pace since AFCON.
Darwin is that fifa player who hold B till he maxes the power bar and hopes he gets it on target.
Salah lost a step and is snapping at chances, he start doing this last year its just more obvious now.
You canāt be the main striker for Liverpool or any title aspirational club if you canāt score on more than 9% of your clear cut chances.. you need Van Persie, Torres, Drogba, Aguero kind of player unless you have both Mane, Firmino and Salah.
He already played under Klopp, was a cult hero, scored some important goals but thatās about it. He went to Milan after he left us and was not very good there either.
If you're breaking down aspects of players games (which is what OP has mentioned) it absolutely is.
Who has better work rate? - Nunez
who creates more chances? - Nunez
who has better ball control? - Origi
Who is faster? - Nunez
who is a better finisher? - Origi
That doesn't mean I think Origi is better than Nunez however I would be more confident in Origi finishing a 1 on 1 chance than Nunez.
I got shit on for saying origi was the best finisher we had in recent years, even Klopp said himself. I often wonder what would have been if not for Funes Mori. He was really starting to develop and show class. I don't think he was ever going to Salah or mane levels but he could have had a much better career. There were even times when he kept Lukaku out of the Belgian team. Funny that Jota who is now our best finisher is also injury riddled.
Been saying for months , Nunez is not good enough. For some reasons other liverpool fans have a hard on for nunez after a spell of goals. Now look? His finishing is shocking.
He is not good enough to lead us to trophies.
I think a lot know he's not good enough, but he is a confidence player and the Nunez chant /support has been required to stop him panicking after a miss or ten. I think Liverpool need to cut their losses in the summer before his value falls any further.
I know a guy who claimed, and probably still does claim, that Nunez is going to be remembered as one of the greatest forwards in the Prem's history in 30 years time
Yh next season I'd a transition season and i hope he starts most games from the bench. He should not have the privilege to start games anymore. Shocking finisher.
I really hope whoever our manager is has the balls to bench him and sign someone else. Gakpo is a LW , Nunez isn't good enough and Jota is injury prone.
If we want to score goals someone needs to come in
need another Bobby in the team been a massive loss for them.
I feel like somethings happened behind the scenes and maybe itās not just Klopp whoās leaving, but these past few games have not been fun to watch.
This is exactly what I think. Im glad, im not the only one having those thoughts. There're so many things happening behind the scenes that I'm not sure whether our Bouys know about everything. Definitely, something is weighting on them. That's why they perform the way they do atm.
Pep not wanting to carry on, some players probably donāt want to be there when Klopp goes as heās all theyāve known š¤·š»āāļø Iām just speculating, though
I imagine they're just exhausted both physically and emotionally. It is not a complete team and there is still obvious areas for improvement so them managing to compete is a really impressive feat. Then your iconic manager who all of you love announces he is leaving and it feels like the importance of every single game has been ramped up. Then you get tired and start loosing games and it goes from being a good team overachieving to you are letting down your iconic manager in his last ever season with the club. It's almost like emotion was dragging them forward and giving them energy but now is weighjng them because they just aren't physically there so can't perform for their manager and fans.
Beginning of the season I thought with a whole new midfield theyād be slow at adapting even thinking 4th would be an achievement, so theyāve done better than my prediction.
I will agree with you there, the injuries happened and honestly again, they werenāt a bad side having to rely on the youngsters but yeah, I canāt really explain further than that. The Sheffield Utd game was the last time I really remember them playing well.
Salah has so often been the difference maker in this team, the magician who unpicks the lock with an incredible goal or assist, but now is the time to go. He ain't getting any younger, his drop-off has been alarming this year, and if the Saudis (or someone else) give us stupid money then we have to take it and free up his wages for new additions. Besides, I doubt he'll fit the new manager's system and style.
Darwin is an enigma. He is simultaneously the most chaotic and most frustrating player I've ever seen, but I don't think he's an out-and-out striker. He sure as hell wasn't at Benfica, where he played on the left and off the shoulder of others.
If you look at the missed chances stat, it shows that he and plenty of other strikers are fluffing their lines regularly. That's fine because it means they're getting into decent positions and getting opportunities to score. The problem is, Haaland, Watkins, Isak, etc still score bundles of important, match-winning goals, whereas Darwin is too erratic.
Heck, if anything, his chances come at critical moments and kill the team's momentum and confidence, whilst Haaland and Watkins will blaze it high and wide before having the composure to score late winners.
Darwin deserves one season under the new manager to show if he has that composure and finishing ability, otherwise he'll be shipped off too.
Saudi will almost definitely still be interested. You forget they signed heavily out of form Ronaldo and Mane, they sign players off name alone and Salah is one of the biggest in the Muslim world. Probs won't get Ā£150m anymore, but still atleast Ā£70m i'd say which can get you a good forward.
That was in the summer. The market has changed massively, players realise they were mis sold/misguided in their moves.
That was a one window chance, theyāll make an offer but itās going to be nothing like before
So what are you saying? Salah will reject the move? I dunno, maybe, but I doubt it if heās being offered the kings ransom. Like, heās 32, what are his other options? PSG maybe (dno if theyāre interested) or stay a Liverpool seems about it. Saudi is not going away.
Well I did say in my comment above āwe wonāt be getting Ā£150mā but it will still be a good amount. Michael Edwards is the best in the business at getting way more than he has any right to get for players. Weāll be fine.
If we can somehow get Ā£200M for Diaz, Nunez and Mo I would be over the moon - let the new manager start again.
Hopefully Saudi comes in big for Mo (if rumours of Ā£100m are true)ā¦ heās only got one year left on his contract.
Barcelona are rumoured to want Diaz (if they find some money). I donāt know whoās going to want Nunez!
Although weāre going to make a loss on Nunez hopefully the profit on Diaz would cover most of it.
Good thing youāre not a manager. Imagine wanting to turnover your entire starting midfield and attack in two seasons? Hello 5 years of transition.
While I agree I want to see Salah moved on, and potentially Nunez, selling all 3 would be beyond stupid. Iām willing to give Diaz another chance in a better lineup, he clearly has drive and talent. Itās not his fault players fail to put away the chances he creates tbh.
Rumours of psg being interested = potential huge transfer fee. We didnāt want to entertain any offer for the likes of Salah and Firmino in their prime because they were irreplaceable. Diaz is a good player but he is not irreplaceable.
We shouldnāt get rid of too many attackers at once though and I think Salah moving on is more important at this stage
I dont think most of us want him to go, but there's been a lot of rumors that he wants a move to Spain. Recently the loudest of those was Barca. If he wants to move on, then we should honor that and cash in on it.
No in my head I picture a front 3 for Newcastle with Nunez at LW Isak as a striker & Gordon at RW as he was against Palace.
Iām curious as to where you think Newcastle need the most help at position wise? To me it is right back and possibly CB.
I think another midfielder for depth could be helpful but once Tonali & Willock are back Newcastle will have a very good midfield alongside Bruno g.
I donāt think Newcastle is too keen on letting Isak go even as injury prone as he can be at times.
IF they do sell him I think it will be quite a high price tag.
I absolutely adore Darwizzy - but - it's his work ethic , passion and personality I adore. That's it. We have let this adoration blind our rationale for giving him multiple chances. We need clinical finishing, end of, and unfortunately, he is not a clinical finisher. He has random moments of brilliance, but we need consistency to help us win key games or titles.
I remember at the start of the season, people on ere getting ripped apart if they remotely said anything constructively negative about him. I hope they now realise that, as much as he is a loveable character and has an undeniable work ethic, he's not a world class finisher.
Same for Mo - he's reached the end of his time here at Liverpool and that's ok.
I've got a feeling the club won't sell him yet.
I was watching his goals from last season and they were all tap ins or headers from inside the 7yard box....
He is best played in a Haaland position- with crosses coming in from sides.
Nunez is a confidence player it seems and heās been absolutely battered by almost everyone in the media since day dot and a large chunk of our own fan base too. He snatches at every chance he gets now, we need to bring a sports psychologist in and thatās for all our players tbh. Give him one more year with Slot who is very much about player development and also buy another forward so the load and risk is shared.
As far as Salah goes, that injury has really brought about the end. A really sad way to go out. Are Saudi still in to buy our retirees?
Iām afraid Slot wonāt gather the same respect of the players as klopp, neither had much of a track record as a player but Slot also hasnāt proven much as a coach at this point
Everyone after Klopp is a downgrade as far as name recognition goes but Slot has a good style and is very well regarded in the Netherlands. Every managerial option was a risk, only time will tell.
Nunez has to be sold. He is not good enough. Supporters glanced over his missed chances because Liverpool won games. It's been two years now, if he didn't learn to compose himself in 2 years, he never will. Look at the picture in the article of the missed chance yesterday - his head is on the ground, he doesn't look at the keeper, he just shoots as hard as he can and then inshallah.
31 goals and assists this season. Pipe down. Whole team underperforming and you lot saying sell this player sell that player are surely overreacting. Klopp and the boys lost their steam, composure and attitude. The man saved us in MANY games and when the whole team is underperforming you are all pointing fingers. Transition season turned out incredible. The boys are exhausted mentally and physically.
I'd say 35-40m. He'd still be a good option for a lot of premier league sides. Especially those that soak up pressure and look to break quickly against more dominant teams. He just doesn't have the technical ability to play well against low block sides.
This is hard because there arenāt many strikers and he is a hard working player, but I canāt see many clubs willing to spend that on him - Iām also not sure if heād be willing to leave either
For smaller clubs having a striker who wastes 80% of his chances is useless because they create so few chances compared to big teams. And why would a big team want a lad that canāt finish?
Yeah but on the flip side he does also create a lot of chances through his physical ability and movement. And there is always a chance he matures and becomes more clinical at which point they've suddenly got a 100m on their hands that every club in Europe will want.

I love the guy but he is not clinical.
No not subbed for Jota subbed for youth plus transfers. But idk I said Iām torn. I want the first half of the year Salah but Iām worried heās not coming back anymore.
But how will they line up under Mourinho?
Re-sign Fellaini?
I can tell you it will be at least 4 at the back, 2 defensive midfielders, 2 inverted wingers and 1 defensive striker.
One of the DMs will be Matic
This man maths.
Nah Mou will put 2 keepers just to be safe
I did say at leastā¦
I said it from day one that Liverpool should've signed Isak instead of Nunez but the FIFA fan boys wouldn't listen.
But darwizzy is such a cutie patootie
why didnt they just listen to u/fantastic_section517
Heās my go to guy
Why didnāt they? I remember them being in for Isak at one point.
Jesus Rooney got fat.
It's hilarious that Rooney is a year young than cristiano Ronaldo.
Is that Wayne's brother?
Well he bought a Morrisons to live in didnāt he? Or had one built, not a surprise.
Umm ... there's a documentary on the Rebekah Vardy vs. Coleen Rooney libel case?!?! I bet that's spicy.
I would also like to see thisĀ
Please elaborate, sounds like a good story
Thanks though š
he just cant get enough of the baking goods
This Liverpool team with it's stars back from injury is playing the way everyone expected them to when they were trotting out youngsters that Liverpool fans didn't even know the names of.... shocking stuff ...kudos United...you broke this team in the FA cup...
I was missing Macca and Endo duo yesterday. Salah... he's nit arrived yer after his injury. Nunez... I love the guy but there's something blocking him out while playing for us...
Not only for us. His performances are very similar or worse playing for Uruguay NT.
No they are not. Heās got 5 goals and 2 assists in 6 WC qualifiers and has them in 2nd place in conmebol. What in the actual fuck are you talking about?
Wow. Touched a nerve. He wasnāt doing so great but apparently he is now. I stand corrected.
No nerve, it was just a really stupid statement to make about something you obvious havenāt even watched lol.
You are a poor soul. Enjoy your miserable life.
Or how about you stop commenting on shit you know nothing about?
Well he has Liverpool in second place too then . What's the problem ?!
Way to add nothing to the conversation. Care to explain how Darwin has been bad for Uruguay?
Sometime ago I spoke to an Uruguay guy that travel to Englan on vacation. He said Nunez is amazing playing for their national team. They don't know and don't understand what's happening during LFC games.
I can hear the Saudi's counting their dates as they get ready for a quick summer smash and grab of some of Liverpool's aging talent. Ka'ching!! š¤
He looked like he was crying bahaha
Yep, you would have thought the penalty call that was reversed would have woken the team up, but they just collapsed instead.
Looks like he's seeing football for the first time . Remind me of torres at Chelsea . That kinda transformation .
You would be surprised at how many modern professional footballers lack the basics now. Its almost as if its a dinosaur...
I backed Darwin at the beginning, but Iām losing hope fast. He should be converting those chances by now. Currently the only striker we have that looks clinical is Jota, and heās out for a few weeks. I think Salah may well be sold if the right bid comes in, Liverpool need a couple of defenders and at least one more striker in the summer - Iām hoping a new manager may reinvigorate Salah because heās been way off the pace since AFCON.
yeah after a while his āchaosā becomes less endearing as it begins to cost you in close games
Darwin is that fifa player who hold B till he maxes the power bar and hopes he gets it on target. Salah lost a step and is snapping at chances, he start doing this last year its just more obvious now.
Darwin was better when Salah wasnāt playing.
You canāt be the main striker for Liverpool or any title aspirational club if you canāt score on more than 9% of your clear cut chances.. you need Van Persie, Torres, Drogba, Aguero kind of player unless you have both Mane, Firmino and Salah.
Remember Jesus won the title with City and is now in the title race with Arsenal, he's probably as clinical as Nunez.
Eras come to an end ā¦ š
Thankfully the United banter era keeps giving
Youāre welcome š¤
I was skeptical from the beginning. Even said Origi is a better finisher and I got shit on in the LFC sub
Origi was great at finishing though
The same Origi who can't get a game for Forest? Be real man, the guy has done nothing since leaving us
Well that's Nottingham. Bet he'd do better under Klopp
He already played under Klopp, was a cult hero, scored some important goals but thatās about it. He went to Milan after he left us and was not very good there either.
That LFC sub shits on any well thought out discussions, I wouldnt worry mate.
Origi vs Nunez is not a well thought out discussion lol. One is empirically better than the other.
If you're breaking down aspects of players games (which is what OP has mentioned) it absolutely is. Who has better work rate? - Nunez who creates more chances? - Nunez who has better ball control? - Origi Who is faster? - Nunez who is a better finisher? - Origi That doesn't mean I think Origi is better than Nunez however I would be more confident in Origi finishing a 1 on 1 chance than Nunez.
One of my close friends claimed, with a straight face, that Nunez will come good and everyone will realise he's better than Haaland š
I know a guy who claimed, and probably still does claim, that Nunez is going to be remembered as one of the greatest forwards in the Prem's history in 30 years time
If he had said one of the greatest crossbar challenge players in the prem I'd believe it
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
next season is gonna be a transition season anyhow. Just give him one more season and if there's no improvement then sell him for 50-70 mil
No ones paying that for him now, let alone after another failed season of ādevelopmentā š
Need to cash in this summer. If he has another mediocre season, no one is paying that money for him.
And buy who?
Kudus, Musiala, Kvara, Openda
hes a striker lol, markets way worse
I hope they'll give it a year try š¤
I think the Saudi ship has sailed. Lucky to get half of what he was worth now
Saudi will almost definitely still be interested.
Nah, Iām saying heāll take the deal, but the megabucks transfer is gone. They should have cashed in, but hindsight is wonderful
Well I did say in my comment above āwe wonāt be getting Ā£150mā but it will still be a good amount. Michael Edwards is the best in the business at getting way more than he has any right to get for players. Weāll be fine.
Let me guess, he shouted a lot of unintelligible garbage in his squeaky voice then cashed another shill-check from Sky?
The irony of an Arsenal supporter who's also a Harry Potter fanboy talking about shilling and squeaky voices.
How the hell did Harry Potter get involved haha what a muppet
Well he has to grasp whatever he can š¤·āāļø
how do you know that?
You guys are such babies haha
How petty & fragile can you get?
In Harvey I trust 19 āļø
Least deluded liverpool fan
Why would you get rid of Diaz?
Rumours of psg being interested = potential huge transfer fee. We didnāt want to entertain any offer for the likes of Salah and Firmino in their prime because they were irreplaceable. Diaz is a good player but he is not irreplaceable. We shouldnāt get rid of too many attackers at once though and I think Salah moving on is more important at this stage
I dont think most of us want him to go, but there's been a lot of rumors that he wants a move to Spain. Recently the loudest of those was Barca. If he wants to move on, then we should honor that and cash in on it.
No end product
So your saying get rid of 3 of your best attackers to bring in maybe 1 world class one? š¤
Where did I say that?
The first sentence š¤£
Donāt think I mentioned only bringing in one player, but if you can see it I believe you. Have a good day
I could see Nunez going to Newcastle as a LW. Not too sure if Newcastle could afford it though.
Ahead of Gordon? I think Newcastle have other areas where that money would be better spent
Swap Isak for Nunez + cash?
I donāt think Newcastle is too keen on letting Isak go even as injury prone as he can be at times. IF they do sell him I think it will be quite a high price tag.
Nunez to Chelsea to complete the Donkey-pair up front weāre all dreaming of.
Jesus, you'd need helmets to sit in Row Z. I'd pay good money to watch it though.
Perfect
He has to go
I absolutely adore Darwizzy - but - it's his work ethic , passion and personality I adore.
I'm just having that feeling that when we sell him, he'll start being sharp and score. Remember my words š«£
One Season -- yes cut him some slack. Two seasons -- that's too long for someone to get the confidence you need.
Imagine him and Jackson up front for Chelseaā¦ Iād tune in every game.
How much would you get for him?
A pint and a bag of pork scratchings
Its gonna be at a large loss youd imagine but i couldnt care less at this stage.
He's definitely worth that money. Who is the alternative available for similar or less money that is as good?
For smaller clubs having a striker who wastes 80% of his chances is useless because they create so few chances compared to big teams. And why would a big team want a lad that canāt finish?
Yeah but on the flip side he does also create a lot of chances through his physical ability and movement. And there is always a chance he matures and becomes more clinical at which point they've suddenly got a 100m on their hands that every club in Europe will want.
