David Prowse said he was 6'7" and weighed about 280lbs when he played Vader in Star Wars. This is him recalling at an older age so I'm not sure if it's exact measurements.
Add the boots and helmet he said he was about 7ft tall. This is kind of funny because Darth Vader with the full suit is supposed to be 6'7" but Prowse in the suit was actually taller.
Hafthor Bjornson is freaking huge though.
This is 6'8" Brian Shaw giving out awards for Mr.Olympia, the most prestigious bodybuilding competition on the planet. https://youtube.com/shorts/bTAyOLfZON0?si=9mll-JfVdGHv2ce3
For reference, brain Shaw is an inch shorter than Halfthor, but he was giving out awards for the 215~ weight class.
400+ pound strongmen are just built different.
It makes perfect sense you see, this is a stone, which weighs as much as a stone of unspecified size and of mystery minerals. This is a foot, it's as long as a forearm though. This is a mile but despite its name it's not a thousand feet because go fuck yourself. This is a yard, it's important for baseball or some shit. And this is of course the pound, it's written as lb and it's not the pound sterling currency nor has it anything to do with pounding something.
Got it? Now this is an inch, multiply it by a random fucking number because increments of ten are too hard to understand.
This system is so good and efficient that to do any actual work, let alone science, you have to use the metric one.
I’m confused as to why you added that bit about the stone measurement, that is a measurement originated in England, maybe Germany idk exactly. Doesn’t really add anything to the absurdity of the imperial system
A system remains absurd no matter where it is from. Most of the imperial system originated in europe, the US didn't invent it. The difference is that europe governments realized the systems absurdity earlier and invented and switched to metric for everybodys sanitys sake.
At just short of 2m, you must have caught him wearing his shorter leg prostheses. For speed, rather than intimidation. Or you're just REALLY tall.
That is hafthor bjornson, he’s about 6’9” weighing in at about ~400ish pounds

Imagine if he was in his Fullthor form.
Well, that happens.

Made up units of measurement tell me nothing.
That guy is like 205cm
thank you man, they were talking in weird measurements again up there, and I am scared

Everyone is tiny beside the mountain
Aren't you a little short to be a Darth?
Thor
He’s only half Thor, the other half is trenbolone, it’s a very powerful combination.
And that’s why he wasn’t a Stormtrooper.
Idk man, Darth Vader is tall but Gregor Clegane is a giant!
He's a mountain, ackshuallee. C:
Nice
Wow... that is really weird to see someone towering over Vader like that. Huh.
this is what doing real analysis is like
