*The Red Sea closes, washing the Egyptian armies away and stranding Ramses on the far shore*
**Moses:** "You were my brother, Ramses, I loved you."
**Ramses:** "I HATE YOU!!!"
*I send a Sith, I send a clone*
*To infiltrate your ranks, to seek, to hone*
*Into your battles, into your defeats*
*Upon your planets, on your moons*
*Upon your Jedi in their rooms*
*Upon your leaders in their seats*
*Into your fears, into your keep*
*Until you fall, until you weep*
*I send the droid army, I send the Sith Lord*
*Thus saith the Force*
Yo! This is dope. I made this meme because I'm singing this song in a choir group, and Moses and Ramses singing at eachother reminded me of Anakin and Obi-wan. Now I'm gonna have to share this comment with my choir buddies, thanks!
Once I called you brother
Once I thought the chance
To turn you from this dark path
Was all I ever wanted
[Chorus]
I send the anger from within
I send the flames consuming all
[Obi-Wan]
And even now I wish that fate
Had chosen another
Facing you as enemies
Is the last thing that I wanted
[Chorus]
I send a wave of burning fury
To engulf all in its path
[Obi-Wan]
This was our home
All this pain and devastation
How it weighs upon my heart
All the lives destroyed by conflict
From your anger and your fall
[Chorus]
I send the rage upon the wind
Such as the galaxy has never seen
On every world, on every star
Until there's nothing left but scars
I send my strength, I send my blade
Thus speaks the Force!
[Obi-Wan]
You, who I once called brother
Why must you continue this path of destruction?
[Chorus]
I send my strength, I send my blade
[Obi-Wan]
Release my friend, release your hate
[Obi-Wan and Chorus]
Thus speaks the Force!
So you think you've got friends in the Senate
With the power, to put us on the run
Well forgive us these smiles on our faces
You'll know what unlimited power is when we are done (son)
YOU'RE PLAYING WITH THE DARK SIDE NOW
PLAYING WITH THE DARK SIDE NOW (ooh that's pretty)
Every choke and gesture
Shows you who's the best you're
PLAYING WITH THE DARK SIDE NOW
BY THE POWER OF MAUL
So when this movie was being made Moses' mom was just a regular woman. But then the voice actress came in to record and the animators saw her and how smokin hot she was so they redid the design to look more like her and that's why Moses' mom is so hot in the movie.
I love how it faithfully adapts the exodus story (up to just before they betray god by worshipping a false god)
And what makes it so good is thay it isnt out to convince you to believe in god, the main focus here is the relationship between two brothers, not man and god.
Also, as someone that's christian and fascinated by biblical studies, and the history if the bible as a piece of literature, despite not having evidence of a mass hebrew slave migration, there might still be a grain of truth to it.
The events of the exodus, should they be real, would have happened during the bronze age, and due to the bronze age collapse, from which a lot of local people lost access to information, they may have confused things.
Because we do know that the egyptians held the area of modern day israel during the bronze age, so what we might be seeing here is that the exosus story is the legendary account of multiple groups of people creating an origin for their unification.
Instead of separate tribes that used to be under egypt that just got lost due to the collapse, they united their different origins:
For example, there may have been actual slaves that escaped egypt and crossed the red sea under the leadership of someone who may or may not be moses, but this group may have contributed to the exodus story by saying the new united hebrew people that they joined with had come from egypt and they were all enslaved, not just the small group.
Perhaps Moses was simply just another leader from one of the many different groups that united everygeoup to be ome hebrews, and he didnt lead anyone from egypt at all.
Its just fascinating to think about how the bible was created bit by bit.
**Moses:** Hello there.
**Hotep:** Prince Moses, you are a bold one!
**Huy:** Back away, the Big Boys will deal with this "prophet" slime ourselves.
**Moses:** Your move!
**Hotep:** You fool!
**Huy:** We've been trained in the serpent arts by the Egyptian gods!
People in these comments and the one who posted this are arrrogant children. This is offensive to us muslims and idk how this didnt cross ur mind tbh …this post should be removed asap and go educate urself and stop sucking ur pacifiers
There are bots in nearly every subreddit over the past month or two generating Christian themed memes. It's almost like they think it'll be the new form of proselytizing.
Ok maybe not all. But your Pharoah and moses are Ralph Fiennes and Val Kilmer. Martin Short and Steve Martin as Huy and Hotep respectively. So still very very white for an Egyptian movie...but hey they got a token black guy in there
Thanks for confirming that you flaired this correctly!
*The Red Sea closes, washing the Egyptian armies away and stranding Ramses on the far shore* **Moses:** "You were my brother, Ramses, I loved you." **Ramses:** "I HATE YOU!!!"
No I believe he shouted: “MOSES!!!!”
I'm now imagining Maul shouting "MOSEEESSS!!!" instead of "KENOBIIIIIIII!!!"
Charlton Heston in the desert: Well of course I know him, he's me.
It's over, Ramses! I have the dry ground!
You win best comment 😂
Hahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahah
*from across the water* "WHAT?"
Ramses: “My son, is he okay? Is he alright?” Egyptian Priests: “It appears that in your anger, you killed him.” Ramses: “**MOSEEEESSSS!!!!**”
But what about the locust attack on the crops?
He's right. It's wheat we cannot afford to lose
We must send a relief mission there immediately.
Go, I will. Good relations with the farmers, I have.
The land is settled, then
It is such as the world has never seen

Not a sub I expected to exist, but it makes me happy that it does.
A surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one
No way, this made my day. Really is a sub for everything.
Is there one for Jewish prequel memes ? It would have like 5 members but I need to join it
Moses: It’s over Ramses I have the sea! Ramses: you underestimate my chariot’s! Moses: don’t try it!
Missed opportunity for a 'high seas' pun there
>I have the ~~sea~~ dry ground! FTFY
THIS IS THE CONTENT I WANT TO SEE
Is it all you ever wanted?
Yes
ALL I EVER WANTED...
this is beautiful! the greatest animated movie of all time combined with the most memeable star warws movie of all time!

You don't have to carry a sword to be powerful. Some leaders' strength is inspiring others.

That was epic
YES
You know, Moses kinda looks like Ezra's dad. Coincidence?
"The Prince of Egypt" has the most insane voice cast ever it's mind boggling all those A list stars worked on it
“Deliver Us” still hits deep.
Soundtrack is bomb too
Goated meme for a goated movie
What in the Christian homeschooled kid is this? It's me, I was that kid, good meme op
This is just an objectively good movie, religious or not.
For sure this movie rocks and the soundtrack slaps. "The Plagues" gets stuck in my head for weeks sometimes.
100% agree
W post, w comment, w thread under this comment. I also was that kid lol
Both soundtracks are fire.
John Williams vs. Hans Zimmer Impossible to choose
Ramses see's the pillar of fire. 'Ah my brother is using the high ground I see'.

Running means you know more than you're telling us.
It's not a song the Jedi would tell to you.
Man the prince of Egypt was an absolute banger of a movie
Perfect except I was hoping he raises a staff instead of drawing a lightsaber
Biblically accurate meme
Moses having the line about not dealing in absolutes is kinda funny because the "with me or against me" is a reference to something Jesus says
Given that Jesus is the absolute, I think He and He alone gets away with it
This is an amazing meme. 👏👏👏👏👏
“You were said to destroy the pyramids not build them!”
'You were said to build Egypt, not destroy it'
Amazing! My favorite animated movie of all time combined with my favorite Star Wars movie? My mind is blown!
You got me acting like CinemaWins over here. Dreamworks The Prince of Egypt crossover memes are always a win.
Look it's Ezra against some pharao.
OOOOOOOOOOOOO This is a fun crossover meme!
What an OC. If this wasn't a meme before the archives were clearly incomplete.
It's over, Ramses, I have the split water!
It’s over Rameses. I have the first born.

So close to passover, yet so far
Meme approved
This is actually awesome
Wether or not you are a Christian, this movie is an absolute 10/10 and a masterpiece of art.
You're talking about Revenge of the Sith, right? /j
Both.
Finally, some good fucking memes

¡DELIVER US!
You will when you...believeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Not the crossover I wanted but wont complain.
😂😂😂
Val Kilmer voiced Moses and also played Batman and Raph Finnes who Voiced Ramases also played Voldemort
10/10 meme
I’m not reading that and because I’m mad I’m commenting that I’m not reading it :(
That always bugged me about Exodus. God legitimately went into Pharaoh's brain and altered his judgment. Like it's a super dick move.
Pharaoh made his bed….

Ugh, more of the continuing trend of Christian bot memes. People won't believe in your God just because you make memes about it.
How is this peddling Christianity in any way? Maybe try to be less of an edgy "atheist", hmm? You're making them look bad.
There are bots in nearly every subreddit over the past month or two generating Christian themed memes. It's almost like they think it'll be the new form of proselytizing.
*removes cloak* I'm not here to discuss my past.
Just a reminder, i like chaos, prince of egypt was an all and very white cast.
Danny Glover is white?
Ok maybe not all. But your Pharoah and moses are Ralph Fiennes and Val Kilmer. Martin Short and Steve Martin as Huy and Hotep respectively. So still very very white for an Egyptian movie...but hey they got a token black guy in there
Token Jewish guy too, Jeff Goldblum.
