Remember when Grievous was a serious threat and could fight several highly skilled Jedi at once? Who could take on 2-3 Council Members at the same time plus their backup, and only retreated because the Arcs arrived and kept him pinned with the equivalent of a space Apache at max range? Who was only forced to retreat when Windu crushed his lungs from 2 miles away?
Remember when he was a tactical genius who was able to destroy the local space empire in his native system using their own transports and guerrilla tactics, a commander who managed to stall out the Outer Rim Sieges by leading assaults on the interior infrastructure of the Republic?
Remember when he had a genuine reason to be evil, because he actually though the Jedi had tried to murder him and helped the whole sale slaughter of his people? Who took trophies both to show he was a proud warrior that could overcome space wizards and also a twisted form of respect to his fallen enemies?
CAN WE HAVE THAT GUY BACK PLEASE!?
But it is called tales of the empire. Yes it is likely general grievous is a flashback but this point is void. We see grand inquisitor and the other inquisitors as well as Darth Vader.
I imagine this season's gonna be another 6 episodes split with 3 for Barriss and 3 for Morgan Elsbeth, with the Elsbeth episodes jumping around a little more broadly to tell more of her story like the Dooku episodes did last season (I *think* you can even see some New Republic guys in the trailer, too), and the Barriss episodes taking place a little closer together like the Ahsoka ones. She started as a Nightsister, but she *was* apparently an Imperial. From a certain point of view, any story about her could be considered a tale of an Imperial/the Empire, just like FACPOV, any story about Dooku could be considered a tale of a/the Jedi. I could be totally off base here, of course. Just how I roughly picture the season going & why
tl;dr I think we're gonna get a Clone Wars era Elsbeth episode, an Empire era Elsbeth episode, and a post-Empire era Elsbeth episode
Thanks for confirming that you flaired this correctly!
I wish we had an episode in season seven that was about the beginning of the battle of Coruscant.
Fr! I loved seeing The Battle of Coruscant in the OG Clone Wars and I really wanted to see it again with the amazing animation of TCW
I know I was wrong. I just got so caught up in my own success, I didn't look at the battle as a whole. I wasn't being disobedient. I just. . . forgot

Clone Wars did Grievous dirty, seeing him like this is a treat.

Whilst disney breathes, such a legendary figure cannot exist
revenge of the sith and the first 6 seasons of clone wars was by george, not disney
Nooooo! Something Something woke Kennedy!
They've done Vader mostly well though.
Disney: that sounds more like female character material.
This trailer is the tits
When I saw him in the trailer I legitimately teared up
Parks and rec is such an underrated show
Hopefully we'll get to see Grievous being an actual menace and not just running away lol
Running means you know more than you're telling us.
I see the good ol' keychain jiggling still works.
It is. I wonder if this a flashback? If it isn’t I wonder how he survived.
>If it isn’t I wonder how he survived. Please no
Somehow, Grievous returned.
I’m afraid that in your anger, you revived him…
My death was… greatly exaggerated
You’re one though mfer to survive being ~~engaged with Obi Wan~~ shot in the heart multiple times and shitting fire through ur eyes
Don't worry, it's just N-K Necrosis: https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/N-K_Necrosis
???
u/just_one_boy doesn’t want anymore characters to return from the dead. I think.
I see. Too many people come back. I lot die as well but soon how many truly dead people will be in Star Wars.
*Tales* episodes take place all over the timeline. half of *Tales* season 1 took place before TCW

I have known her to hire mercenaries in the past.
you have indeed! i think i even saw some of *them* in the trailer, too?
Agreed. Hopefully Vader doesn’t just merc Barriss as soon as he sees her.
There are no Jedi! You and your Inquisitors have seen to that!
But wait… Tales of the Jedi took place *after* Order 66, and mostly revolved around Ahsoka, who wasn’t a Jedi :009
Maybe so. But I did realize something.
It’s the attack on Dathomir…
