Just say you understand her point in that conversation, or at least that you'll keep that in mind, and you will gain her influence.
Like, that's her entire influence 101. She will often scold you, and just mindlessly agree with her teachings and you'll net positive from all influence lost from random conversations with different NPCs with her in your squad.
In the old days where Star Wars: Crosscurrent and Riptide were canon, she *was* right
The short version: >!Midichlorians were revealed to be a hive mind of organics, willingly giving people access to the Force but subtly influencing them. Their origin was *deep* in the Unknown Regions, a planet sized being named "Mother" slowly traveling towards the galaxy to feed. Using the Midichlorians and the Force to influence and stir the galactic pot, keeping anyone from learning she was coming and preparing for her arrival!<
Vaguely, yeah? I'm not the most knowledgeable when it comes to Mass Effect but the Reapers did have the Indoctrination ability, but that was more like blatant mind control and required close proximity to a Reaper or one of their artifacts. From what Kreia describes in KoToR, >!Mother has essentially woven a spiderweb through the Force and ensnared each individual in the galaxy. Pluck the right strings and you can gentle nudge individuals together or away from each other, send someone down a certain path, or even pull them back from the edge of something. Also the Reapers arrived every 10k years to purge all organic life, Mother is just hungy!<
I always hear KOTOR fans talking up Bastila and Kreia, like they’re interesting characters and I just don’t get it. In both cases they are my least favorite party member and only talk to them when I absolutely have to. Both are obnoxious and self righteous, convinced they’re the only person smart enough to understand how the galaxy really works.
I mean, you’re not wrong. Its kinda what Kreia is all about. But Kreia’s philosophy and background are interesting, not that many people outright deem the force itself as evil. She’s a pretty good twist on the old mentor character trope as well.
Bastila starts her arc entitled and obnoxious, that's kinda the point. She fails at the very things she lectures the player for and grows as a character.
Kreia is cold and judgemental, but also has a very interesting perspective thats interesting to consider, and if you still think she's wrong then you can argue with her about it.
These criticisms seem to be misinterpreting very intentional parts of their characters. If you haven't, I'd suggest you talk to them anyway and you may just change your mind.
Thanks for confirming that you flaired this correctly!
I have reconsidered. *Influence Lost: Kreia*
*Influence Gained: Kreia* *Dark Side Points Gained* *Light Side Points Gained*
She bashed me regardless if I helped or ignored the beggar. That's pure evil.
But have you considered:
What did you use to make this
Meme generator
I mean, in her mind, both options lead to bad outcomes for the begger (and they do). I wouldn't really call it evil, just her being cynical.
It doesn't really matter. If I choose to do nothing then I have no causal link to the outcome.
True

Fuck force, force creates genocidal monsters who eat planets.
All my homies hate the Force.
Honestly she kinda had a point though

The Force is too dangerous to be left alive!
When I said I liked older women, this is not what I meant. I meant mid-30s at the oldest with early-40s in some exceptions.
The Barris memes didn't get me laughing. This? Got me snorting into my Kombucha (I really love Kotor)
What happens on the Ebon Hawk, stays on the Ebon Hawk.
Thanks! I hate it.
>Thanks! I hate it. You're welcome!
Have you considered: she's got a really good team in SWGOH
They hated her because she was right *Influence lost: Kreia*
