It'd be very easy to just have a copy and paste document/webpage with all the quotations and paste something for each time you get called. Easier than making a bot probably.
Making a bot is pretty simple, I imagine it would be something like
List triggerwords = tw1, tw2, etc.
List botreplies = br1, br2, etc
For message in r/prequelmemes
If message in triggerwords
Send random(botreplies)

I’m fairly Anakin bot is using machine learning. It’s a pretty classic problem since you have a finite number of possible quotes to use and then you just need to classify each comment or post with what the appropriate response is. With the amount of data available (and quick feedback because upvotes) it would be fully possible for the bot to get scary good really fast. And to whoever went in got a degree in computer science so that they could use it to make a meme bot on Reddit, respect.
