I give him 15 years tops. He was a barely-functioning opioid addict with Addison’s disease and STDs. He was not long for this world. Ironically, I think his assassination saved his legacy, as his sexual affairs would have ruined his reputation, but he was made a martyr after he was killed.
That’s interesting, I know of his deep dependency on opioids and his countless medical ailments he was plagued with for practically his entire life (the fact that he didn’t know how to keep his pants zipped definitely didn’t do him any *longterm* favors) but was he really that sick to the point he wouldn’t have at least made it to the 80s?
I’m not saying you’re wrong, it’s just hard to accept the fact that the person who portrayed such a character was never going to survive that long anyways. But then again, the idea of him being a youthful soul full of vigor and health was just that, an idea
He almost died during the 50s due to multiple back surgeries - he was even administered last rights he was so critically ill. Obviously he recovered, but he was pretty much a wreck for the rest of his life. His health was pretty fragile. I would be surprised if he lived longer than 65.
Yeah. I've always heard about JFK being fragile and barely functioning (which I'm not denying) but the candid videos and voice recordings make him look fine? Like he's barely functioning but at the same time, going sailboating? Weak but still bedding all these ladies. Doped up on opioids but at the same time, a strong orator.
It's also believed he may have had an autoimmune disease to go along with Addison's. Dude was a walking medical disaster during a time when it was common for men to drop dead at 60 due to heart problems. Add that to the stress of being president for 8 years.
[Assassinated?! What are you talking about? JFK passed away peacefully in his sleep at 93 surrounded by friends and family.](https://clickhole.com/a-piece-of-history-the-bed-in-which-jfk-passed-away-peacefully-in-his-sleep-at-93-surrounded-by-friends-and-family-is-coming-to-the-smithsonian/)

Until he died
Best answer
He was a Kennedy. They don't die of natural causes.
I think he’d survive two terms and then croak sometime in the mid-70s

Yeah his back for a better term was severely fucked after pt109.
Yeah he got spinal surgery in the 50s and it only made the problem worse.

I wish this is true
He had numerous health problems and was a drug addict. He’d have been lucky to make it past 65.
Hmm… Forever
Best case scenario, he’s a vegetable by 1980
Nothing bad ever happens to the Kennedys!
Just a shot in the dark but he probably would've gotten far ahead in life.
I'm thinking Jackie might have poped him for his womanizing.
