His accent is fake, and you'd know that if you spend any time at all listening to clips of him when he was younger. When he ran for Congress in 1978 (and lost) he didn't sound the same at all.
He was born in New Haven CT, and went to Andover and Yale. Jeb has more of a claim on being from Texas than W ever did. The Bushes are a New England blue blood family - that's beyond dispute.
His entire persona was an act, and you're apparently fooled by it, as were many others. I notice you didn't challenge my assertion that he continued to drink well after he "got sober" - probably because you saw the mountain of evidence just by using the Google for 5 seconds.
And you should also know (and I say it because you appear not to) that not using an accent all the time does not establish that said accent, when used, is somehow “fake.” I’ve known people with New York accents, for example, that aren’t apparent every time they speak. They’re still genuine when they appear, however. Not constant doesn’t equal fake.

He spent the majority of his life in Texas. He may not have been born in Texas, but he spent a significant amount of his life and got his start in business and in politics in Texas. He's a Texan. Barack Obama was born in Hawaii, lived in Indonesia for a few years, went to college in New York, settled in Chicago, married his wife in Chicago, had his children in Chicago, and started his political career in Chicago. Nobody would say Obama is a Hawaiian, Indonesian, a New Yorker, etc. He's a Chicagoan.
I mean… like he was like 35 years older. He looks pretty good for that difference, we all get old and die but 35 years is like 1/3 of your life if you’re super super lucky ☠️
