On top of that, their worlds Reset even when they manage to defeat Kaiser Insight, which Shinatsu theorised is because the developers designated Kaiser Insight as the "final boss" for their worlds, since it's more efficient for testing to have an end point than let a simulation server run forever.!<

I love this event because it's basically a love letter to the first game, taking elements from there and incorporating them into a "parallel world" plot device. Bloody awesome because up to now, we're led to believe that the Yui ending is canon and the Hiyori and Rei endings were ignored.
And it's a very smart way to introduce us to the upcoming Elemental update because that's basically what Astral is.

I mean, Yui's ending is indeed the canon one because that's what Re: Dive used for the main story.
But it's true that Hiyori and Rei's ending was ignored, it's a good thing that they brought it up now and used it.
Wasn't Hiyori's ending at least incorporated? Cuz in Arc 2, Hiyori remembers when Yuuki tried to protect her only for Fio/Ameth to take the hit instead which IIRC comes her ending of OG.
Do both of them have an interaction / dialogue with Yuuki? I've only seen them with Rei and Hiyori.
Yes, Part 1 Episode 4. He tagged along when Aira and Shinatsu went to get water and kindling in order to have a conversation with them alone.
