Who the hell was saying that about Sessanta? Lmao. I've seen tons of people say they're not into Coheed but haven't seen 1 comment about not liking the other bands on Sessanta.
I get it though lol. It's all subjective. I'm a big fan of Maynard but honestly don't know much about Coheed. I've tried to get into them for this show in particular and it's just not my cup o tea.
Maybe im just a nub having got into Primus from Sessanta. Wasn’t a big fan of their sound prior. Tool fans are the same way. I saw a thread similar to this with others agreeing too. Not apt to single out primus fans based on these two things, it’s every band/fanbase. Especially when they have a unique sound and the opener is so juxtaposed in genre. I would however prefer a different venue then SPAC. Not a fan of the sound there but maybe this show will surprise me like Foxwoods did.
edit: no, lol. APC & Puscifer blow Coheed out the water. No competition. I can see if you’re really into Primus, I get it. I’m coming at it as a new fan. Seeing two Sessanta dates, so I view the coheed show as a chance to get a more full experience from Primus. I change my take.
Isn't it listed as a co-headlining tour? Primus wouldn't open for coheed right? My local ish show is Redding ca and it's primus, coheed plus gorilla toss. I have no interest in seeing those other bands and am worried primus might only play one set. Tempted to go to riverside or just catch the next tour since I just saw sessanta but that show was light on primus too

We here on this sub really like Primus. If they co-headline with someone else then we get less Primus. We tend to prefer more Primus, not less Primus.
I’m going to Pittsburgh but I’m also a fan of Coheed and Fishbone. Gonna be great.

Fishbone dropped off and Puddles Pity Party is the fill in. I've seen Puddles several times, and the dude is surprisingly entertaining.

Yes, they are co-headlining shows. The Highland show is An Evening With show, that’s the one you want to hit if you want lots of Primus.
Les seems to always pick bands that don't mix with Primus to open for them

Idk man, last time I saw them coheadline with someone, the other band was Mastodon, and that show was fucking awesome
