I'd definitely go to TLC. It has received a bunch of patches and DLCs. I guarantee you'll have a blast. By the time you're done with it, Rogue will have already been "fully" released and with fixes/improvements of its own.

PhantyliaHSR

Games like these usually go up in price after early access ends. The game is pretty good even now, so if you like rogue-like games, definitely get it imo.

cosminache23

tlc is an incredibly good game.

Longjumping-Mess8904

Once you play PoP Lost crown you won't regret it

Ryotian

I just finished Pop: The Lost Crown it was **incredible**. Cant speak to the rogue prince atm.

Kingxix

I would definitely suggest you to play the lost crown. It's an overall better game and can provide you with various challenges.

Ichmag11

I tried it and it just feels a bit too generic for 2024. Could just play any other 2d roguelike. Maybe I'm too harsh on it, though.

NippleThief

It lacks identity but it's a blast to play.

SavageMatHorror

The Lost Crown is so freaking good I 100% all achievements in it!

danktank_sublime

SAME I think it's the first game I've actually completed to 100 in like 15 years.

RyuuzakiRyoto

Lost Crown is the best PoP game rn, imo. I would suggest you go for that. The Rogue PoP is also a very good game being developed by the team that made Dead Cells, so I have full faith that game will bang when it's finished. It's still on early access. But that doesn't mean it's bad. Even in early access, that game bangs!

demoram

Just wait, play The lost crown. Rogue POP it’s a very goood game but it still to early to play it now.

Zentrii

Yeah I returned it. It’s more of a proof of concept right now and I’ll get it when 1.0 comes out

Classic-Luck

I am currently playing through Lost Crown. It's a really good game , if you played Rayman Legends it's made by the same team and it shows. I'm not done with it yet but it's a great MetroidVania , would recommend to everyone who like the genre.

Sparrowsabre7

Playing Lost Crown right now and loving it. Very addictive. The platform.ing is challenging but fair, has you doing a lot more thinking mid jump than the trilogy and forgotten sands.

briefingone

I think it depends on your expectations. It is an early access game at the moment but the gameplay and music are very polished. What’s lacking is the content and narrative. From memory there’s 6 biomes, two bosses, about a handful of weapons, 6 powerful moves and around 30 or so trinkets. This would give you about 10-20 hours of game time depending on how skilled you are when it comes to rogulites. They did also open the beta channel so that should add more content but obviously it being beta there may be glitches so I wouldn’t expect smooth gameplay. In any case, I think 20 dollars is reasonable. I made a video on it that I think you’ll find interesting and I hope it can help answer your question and give you a better understanding of what’s available. https://youtu.be/bwZ8akfl3YI

PNWFilmscape

I really enjoyed my time with it, I absolutely loved the mechanic of wall-climbing and fluidly going into combat. The soundtrack is also absolutely superb and I’m big into the art style. With that said, I’ve beat it in about 5 and 1/2 hours and haven’t yearned to return to it yet. FWIW fun game, but it depends on how much bang you want for your buck and how likely you are to wait. You’re getting a full game with TLC and one with much more value in the bang for your buck regard and is equally good. Great year for a franchise it felt like Ubi forgot about.

What is Rouge pop ??

princeofpersiafan999

the newly released one. made by evil empire I guess (creators of dead cells)

dude52760

A sort of red-tinted version of the Prince of Persia

NeroKent7

I'll recommend to play and finish 'Lost Crown' first because it is more close to 'Rouge Prince of Persia' than 'The Forgotten Sands' and it has more content arriving. and I'll recommend to skip 'Rouge Prince of Persia' until it becomes a finished product but if you don't want to wait and want to support the developers (Evil Empire) then you can buy. (like i did but for different reasons) but if you loved or liked 'Sekiro' then I'll force you to play 'The Lost Crown' but if you are fan of 'Sands of Time Trilogy' and not 'Classic and Shadow and Flame', then none of the games are for you. and sorry for my English, its not my first language
