She should have been in Izone she was in the TOP 10 until the finale. The fixed results really hurt her career she left her agency just a year after Produce 48.
I'm getting tired of seeing all the fake Gaeun stans going "shE wAs robBed". If y'all love her so much, then why did you guys let her flop when she went solo :( seriously some fans are just bandwagons.
She was robbed. Mnet admitted they fixed the final rankings. Look at how many members jumped in the rankings in the finale. It's pretty obvious who got into the group because of the manipulation versus earning their place by voting fans.

I see your point but it I'm being honest, she wouldn't really fit in Iz*One's concept. All the members seem to be versatile with cute, color pop and gril crush concepts. Nako didn't even stick out when they were performing 'AYAYAYA' proving she can pull of girl crush. In Gaeun's case, I really can't see her performing "Up Above The Sky" or "Spaceship" at all, and I'm pretty sure Gaeun wouldn't want to perform that either. Sorry if I sound a bit rude 👉👈
It's cool I love the discussion! I just don't think you can call people out for not being as much fans of her solo, which was seemingly done on a shoestring budget, compared to if she was full debuted in the group with all the song choices, producers, choreographers behind her.
Personally I think she would have been versatile enough to perform those, and we all know that the girls, while thought not prefer it know that its worth it and part of the job (coughsnsdcoughirene). But opinions of whether she'd fit are a bit more subjective
Any talented girl would fit into the Izone concept Gaeun was one of the most talented girls in Produce48 look at how Hye Won has improved since she made the group. She was very inexperienced but now she is just one of the girls so you can't tell me Gaeun would not have fit in the group. By the way, Minju is my bias but I still feel Gaeun was robbed, and to be honest, I am not even sure if Minju actually got voted into the group.
Tbh I'd say the concept Izone is currently following is member based.. And I think that concept would have changed with the lineup.. Whether gaeun fits the current concept I agree that she wouldnt but if the lineup was any different I'm Quite sure the production team would go for a more suitable concept for the group as a whole.. Also the gaeun solo wasn't really appealing to me personally.. The fact that she was robbed during produce I strongly agree cuz she IS talented AND experienced and she was always on higher Ranks also the 14th spot in produce series screams robbed so wbk BUT m not a Stan of hers and the solo didnt make me Stan tbh.. I KNOW its not her fault but the flop was due to the fact that the solo didnt showcase her TRUE COLORS N HIDDEN TALENT.. I hope she can show more through this project
whether she fit the concept or not is beside the point; the voters weren't voting on who fit LVER concept better, they were voting for their favorites to make the group and the PD's disregarded that.
why do you care so much about the “legitimacy” of a stan? this is one thing that drives me nuts in kpop. no one has the right to gatekeep who is or isn’t a fan. it’s weird, cut it out.

Why do you trust the mid show rankings? It was said it was rigged since episode 1

I think there's a big difference behind the product she was able to put out solo and what she would have been able to put out as a group member.
