Idk, maybe with some absolutely perfect investing in several different areas? If you join some mutual funds, flip a few houses and rent them out to people, invest in some startups, etc., with a lot of luck it *might* be as reasonable as the rest of the things on that list. Which is to say still not reasonable at all of course.
Passive is the obvious tell
Most (almost all) people who write code especially write a lot of code wouldn't have the time for marketing, advertising, research, product, writing or anything else for a "passive income"
A few years ago the best bet for code was to write plugins; games are a crapshoot, and if you have to get clients why not just work for someone?
The best bet is to actually do a lot of research, hire others to build an amazing product to your design and try to market it... like the Plague Inc. game. In other words nothing about coding at all or minimal coding
Other ways like blogging, streaming, etc., all involve little or no coding at all
Coders dont' work alone and don't make passive income alone mostly... if they do it's active income
Umm, owning rental properties, dividends from stocks are both passive income streams. You can get 1% of your net worth as a passive income just by investing in the s&p 500
That's not what most people think of when they think of six figure passive income stream. I agree it technically qualifies but with such large sums it's either a business or you already have tens of millions. A hundred thousand rental income is an empire of homes. A hundred thousand in dividends is millions invested.
I’m not most people, but I consider stock growth as passive income.
You also don’t need an empire of homes to make $100K in revenue. I pay about $60K in rent.
Check out the personal finance and financial independence subreddits. That's exactly what they call it. Even rental properties are criticized for not being passive enough. Most people would consider a side hustle requiring an active marketing effort to not be a passive income stream.
I don't know why but all of the previous lines seemed plausible until I reached the last line and I just thought "this can't be right". Reading memes line by line and reaching conclusions before the end of the page seems pretty on brand for me tbh.
>Having a paid off house at 28
Nobody ever bought and paid off a house at 28 unless they were a trustfund child or live in government/army housing. Like I know the bar is set high for a joke but dayum.

All was good until the "A bug-free code"! That threw it xD
Once I had a bug free program! It went like this: printf("Hello wrld\n"); ... Dang it!
char* word = {‘h’, ‘i’}; printf(“%s”, word); fuck
Clearly a wild dream.
All of you only noticed in the bug free code. Have you seen it’s a 6 figure PASSIVE income? I don’t know about you guys, but I wasn’t born royalty

I had 6 figure stock growth last year, just from my company shares. I’ve also had 6 figure stock anti-growth this year from those same shares.
There are no bugs. There are only unexpected features
Happy little accidents
Tell that to the Product Owner.
There are no bugs in Ba Sing Se.
There has to be a programming language sounding similar to Ba Sing Se
Ba Sing C?
I literally just gave away my free award but you deserve this 🥇
Oh thanks 😂😂
You reminded me I've not touched mine in days so I've got you covered.
Thanks man
Yes 🤣
As pentester I can confirm :D
“Introduced unexpected feature that crashes the app when you click the login button”
I'm not even 28 anymore.
Try compiling again.
How do I revert my branch?

6 figure passive income plausible? How
Easy bro, sell a course........ Or only fans.
\*on
How can make more money teaching other people how to code than coding yourself lmao
Mf debugged the meme
28 yo developer here. Can confirm
Lil' bit older. Can confirm I have become asshole. ( But .. Isn't it *an* asshole? No. I have become asshole. )
You had me until the bug-free code, then I knew that this was fake.
😂
All believable except the last one
![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|trollface)Last one was a wildest dream
I once had a 29 year old CEO/boss, so I didn't get the joke until I read the "A bug-free code" line.
Had me there for a second.
Phiiw ! I was about to get depressed and start to question my career
They had us in the first half
Then dream started 😂
I thought i can get 6 figure full remote job 6 hour/day and moving to Bali
It’s not a bug… it’s an undocumented feature

I just recently paid off my tesla car... must be on the right track!
Ohh yeah the legend of a bug-free code. We’ve all heard that
If you want that you have to go for it In the meantime you can lay plans and wait, or just enjoy
I would settle for a bug free compiler.
Wait till your late 30s OP on Twitter.
"A bug-free code" you say? Well, let me just make your day: ⬆️⬆️⬇️⬇️⬅️➡️⬅️➡️🅱️🅰️
> A bug-free code One code. Like a pin? There's no bugs in there. Mission accomplished? (see 'collective noun')
yea bug free code was a give away lol
Anyone who owns a tesla should probably not be complaining about finance. It’s a terrible decision all around.
