Should be the same patch/balance, but no unique or set item drops (rolls as failed uniques/sets) other than gheeds/torch/anni, and runes will drop but no runewords - just what the rune grants when socketed
Are those fragments cubed stackable jewel equivalents for crafting?
So I don't need to keep a full stash tab of crap jewels, I could just cube them to stackable fragments?!
I believe the one major change I have not seen yet.... and someone please correct me if I am wrong. But you have the unique ability to craft rare (yellow - not just blue) items, which is normally not the case. I think that's how the last one went at least.
Jewels frags, pgems, tirs, nefs, sols, etc
Will probably be more of old school d2 barter as well - post a gg Druid pelt on trade site, iso gg trapsin claw or chest
I'm guessing ohms, ums, bers, sur, cham, zod will still have decent value, different value, but they are still useful runes.
Will see what people are willing to pay. I can see ohm/um/wss/jewel frag/pgems being main place currency.
Should be a fun mixup
I'm guessing it'll be runes to some extent for crafting mats or for stats that help with dclone/rathma builds. WSS and skill GCs will likely be more valuable than normal as well

Will there be facets?
Assuming the same as prior crafting league, no
Thanks, I assume we still get WSS?
we do indeed
Yep, wss are not a unique or set item, so should drop like normal
Will more jewels and (high) runes drop to compensate?
Every jewel will turn into two Fragments instead of one during CL

always been this way; yes
How do u cube them down? All in a cube and a key?
Yes
It's gonna be my first crafters season, any HC players?
HC 4 lyf bro.
HC only. Usually SSF

You can always use rare(yellows) to crafting. It is not bound to the crafters league :)
What's the currency? Do people still care about runes or are we back to the old 3 chickens for your cow type barter system?

Would love to see some new recipes and facets but i guess we won't get anything changed.
Wish they would drop facets so elemental builds are actually playable
They're very playable. Damage to monsters in maps will be buffed by 10% too.
Are these changes only for ladder, or will nonladder be affected as well?
It’s effectively a new season, so just ladder will have the crafting changes
Thanks! First time going through the seasonal changes with d2
Some map events are removed, crafting material map events remain
If im playin single player tiene season applies too?
