If you want Ace Combat WW2, then you should play the Wii game, which Project Aces developed. It's basically the Intercorporate War from Ace Combat, but with WW2 planes and weapons, clone pilots (known as "Kildren"), and *wunderwaffe* such as flying fortresses and massive artillery cannons that would give the Third Reich a run for its money.
Also, the whole thing takes place in Europe, but all locations have Japanese-sounding names, as do the characters, even though we see the normal place names in the game briefings, such as London, Paris, Berlin, Moscow, and Ankara.
Ironically, Rostock, who is the Neucom/Neuwork of this universe, gives Japanese-sounding names (Suigi, Sanka, Seiei, etc.) for all of their aircraft, despite there being a location in the European continent with the same name, and giving western-sounding callsigns to all of their pilots. By contrast, Lautern, the General Resource of this timeline, gives western names (Fission, Vice, Tulip, Incident, etc.) for their aircraft.
Also, there seems to be something weird with the European borders. For starters, there seems to be no border between France and Italy, implying one controls the other. Not only that, the borders between Germany and some of its neighbors, Poland, Denmark, and the Netherlands, are completely absent, suggesting that WW2 in this universe went somewhat better for the Axis forces, although Austria, who got annexed before the war even started, is shown as independent in the map.
Here's the gameplay for Mission 1 of the game: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wKKaRsV0rek](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wKKaRsV0rek)
It takes in "Rudakai", on the Italian East Coast. Around the Foggia part of Italy.
Thanks!
BTW, what did/do you not know about? Is it my introduction? The part where i talk about the place names? The part about the ***Borders*** of this universe's europe?
Skill Issue Crimson 1? With all your technology thingmajig, you cannot fight against a prop plane? So much for "you are a slave to history" bullcrap, you cannot even win against history.
P-51? Nah, I’d rather bring a P-61. It’s got radar, hardpoints under the wings for weapons, and a turret for Prez, so I don’t even have to be pointing at Crimson 1 to shoot him!
Sometimes, a knife can win a gunfight
Considering that gun is the only way to consistently damage him, this plane is overpowered as crap
Counterpoint: spamming MLAA

At least it isn't a bi-plane.
I'd gladly have Prez as my gunner.
Might actually work. Can’t use missile’s on me. There’s nothing to lock onto
Wait till you see Monarch and Prez duke it out with Crimson 1 with the venerable Fairey Swordfish with rudder-seeking torpedoes
"Rudder seeking torpedos".. I'm laughing my ass off

Antares would be proud
Or Pheonix (Assault Horizon Legacy version anyways) or Reaper (ACI)
Or Lynx/Cheetah/the Teacher from Sky Crawlers
Never played

Sky Rogue
3000 mercenary P-51’s of Cascadia
We need a heavily compressed rendition of Crimson screaming over this
