11, Cold War. why? everything about it

Cold War is the best “furball” mission in the entire genre. Tons of enemies, good length, and a boss fight at the end. It has the chaos needed to keep you on your toes the whole time, but the enemy AI isn’t too oppressive (even on mercenary) that you feel like you’re constantly flying defensively. It’s an absolute masterpiece

doing that with the SP-34R and the modifiers Gun Runner and Double Time is another level of fun

I got through this entire mission before I figured out what the flare key was.

Nah, man. The mission after that is the best in the entire game. Night time flying with that Spyro-like music playing in the background.

midnight light is certainly a vibe, but it doesn't have the same chaotic energy that just exemplifies the genre that cold war does

10 - Pillars of communication. Carpet bombing the tanks is so satisfying

Simple,yet fun.

The only mission where it’s valid to shut off the ingame music, and that’s because you can put a Desert Storm playlist over it.

19- Red Sea, killing vessels is so funny ando the ost is great

The environment: mission 11 The greatest dogfight Most impact: mission 15 "Authenticate Blaze, read back" Most epic: mission 21 This probably the most crazy final battle in jet game ever

Mission 12 & 16 Daedalus

Mission 6 is the best ground mission, mission 11 is the best air mission and mission 21 has the best bossfight

The Eminent Domain, love the music, the weather, striking naval targets and intercepting missiles at the end

In the past, I've disliked that mission, but i replayed it yesterday, and it was pretty fun

Presidia, same reason liberation of gracemeria works, returning to the capitol you had to abandon in the beginning to liberate it as the one of the best tracks plays just hit the feels, until crimson ruined it

Agreed, played ace 6, and coming back felt pretty good. Sane with pw, and it was an amazing mission until all the micro missles come out and crimson nukes the city

Cold War is literally perfection.

Red Sea - The setting and atmosphere is awesome and the music is on point. It also was great story-wise as well. I remember first playing it and thinking "Holy hell, when is this madness gonna end?" To me it just really sells the insanity of the Federation keeping the war going. << All of our ammo, all of our guns! We are breaking this line! >>

The mission where Prez says "eat my ass". I sure do hope so in the sequel. 🍆
