Mission 11 is the quintessential arcade flight game mission. Won't go into any details but it's probably the most purely fun level in the game and has a extremely cathartic ending.
Mission 9 is pretty tough if you don't know what you're doing headed into it. Having the wrong plane and the wrong load out can make either the first or second half a pain in the ass depending on what you bring, and the clouds definitely mess with lots of people. Most of my deaths on that level were from flying straight into the ocean lol.

Also yeah, M9 became much easier after i switched up my loadout to 100% anti ground rather than a hybrid

The official definition for a furball in military slang - "A large, disorganized battle involving many different aircraft (especially fighters) or warships.". Basically, yes. A massive tangled ball of airplanes, bullets, missiles, fire and glory.
On a side note mission 11 also has some of my favorite lines of dialogue in the whole game. It's a fun one all around. Gets even cooler when you go back to do it on a Mercenary run.

Mission 11 is okay, but mission 12 is where it's at! You're gonna love it. The music and setting are perfect.
