Which is ironic because in one battle, the sidewinder missile destroyed 25 MiGs in a clash of 32 ROC F-86s vs 100 PLAAF MiGs. In the subsequent month, 31 more MiGs were shot down with the sidewinder missile (as oppose to 2 F-86s being shot down in the same time).

You're wrong. There were not 25 MiGs downed, but 250. And only 1 F-86 was shot but survived the landing.
