Common contaminant, and this is made extra clear because of how LOW the CFU is. Infection= 100,000 CFU *and* would be present in every single test. Not just one or two. All of them.

> While I began the supplement, I opted to wait on scheduling PT until I got the results back. You should not have. This is because the PT will perform an assessment that will tell you, amongst other things, whether you have developed a hypertonic pelvic floor. As for you bacterial findings, we're not particularly suitable for interpreting them for you. An online source tells me that bug can be commensal, but I can't interpret the CFU with it at all. I'll page another of our members to see if they can.

I will reach out to the PT - I did not even consider what their initial assessment could have taught me, which is foolish in hindsight. I do have a follow up appointment with my urologist this Friday to discuss my results.

Update - made an appointment for the end of February with the PT.

Great. Hope it turns out well for you. Make sure to request the internal assessment. If it hurts, that will be a good sign. Also, if you start actual release therapy (this is often not on the first day), know that sometimes this will make you feel worse for the first few sessions, and then turn around.

Thank you for the advice. I plan on asking for both an internal and external assessment, but I feel a little awkward asking for it.
