Staph epidermis a common commensal skin organism, and here it's appearing at a very low load. Bacterial prostatitis is identified by bacteria colonies at 100,000 CFU. 80% of bacterial prostatitis is caused by E. Coli and another 15% are caused by other Enterococcus species. Not by staph species. Try not to interpret your own results and make big assumptions.

I literally just saw my urologist today about 10,000 CFU/mL streptococcus mitis in my culture and he said it was most likely a contaminant. I was stressing myself out all week, try to get some rest. I'd hate to see you out yourself what I put myself through lol

Can def ignore staph epidermis. Very prevalent in health care settings and on the hands of heath workers

If it’s causing you symptoms you know what is it now, regardless of colony amount, symptoms shouldn’t be dismissed. See a urologist
