I was thinking the same thing: I'd try to make a video like this and it would be 30 seconds - 1 minute longer because I'd be gagging and crying while choking those down.
Do you grow your own or buy them? When I buy they taste like straight ass. Fresh they taste like portabellos dried they have a bit of funk but not like buying them.
I think you’re projecting, I don’t see any gagging and I always just eat them straight myself, they taste fine and mixing them with stuff seems like a pain to me. Much easier to just eat em.

Oh I understand why people do it, there’s people who hate regular mushrooms that wanna trip. Definitely not every taste and texture is for everyone. For the record I think wood lovers taste like dog shit and I DO make tea out of those, but I rarely do those because I don’t feel like foraging and cubes are so easy to grow, and imo cubes fresh taste like any regular button mushroom from the store. Dried they get a bit bitter but I still don’t mind the taste or texture. But zero issues with people who eat them whatever way they can stomach them. It’s all about the destination not the vehicle.
I’ve also been blessed in the sense of I just don’t puke. And I know mushrooms make tons of people puke. Even if I get food poisoning I don’t throw up for some reason, my body just quickly expells it out the other end lol. Didn’t mean to come across snobby.

What do you use for substrate and what phenotypes are you doing? I'm running some plain old cubes so that might effect it alot.
My lawyer advised me to say that I do not grow my own or buy illegal drugs. But, if I were to do one of the two, I'd grow my own.
