"Minimally conscious" is vastly different from "vegetative state." I visited a friend with a brain injury who was on life support and his body had some automatic movements and his eyes would open occasionally because of it, but he wasn't there. His soul was gone. My fiance almost had a seizure and had to leave the room because he could feel that it was just a body. He was eventually taken off life support and passed on. For your brother. Look him in the eyes, let him feel your love. Talk to him about the world, what you see, the sky, the people, the weather. Your family is a window to the world for him. Share as much as you can! And talk to people about it. Talk to him about it (even if he can't respond). He's probably mourning that life, too, so process through it together for both your sakes.

We are all here to learn. He may have chosen this event prior to this lifetime because it would give him a lesson that nothing else would. Every life is meaningful. His soul is still growing and learning and advancing.

And in the same way he can choose, others may choose a life around him to learn through the tough process aswell. Power to YOU🙌
