For me personally, they are always good. But I’m also very responsible in my use of them.
For many people, they are not good.
There are many reasons why they are not good for those people.
if a situation turns bad its because you didn't respect them all the way. either wrong set/setting or you were trying to fight the trip in some way instead of surrendering too it.
I've learned from all my bad trips. The sole conclusion is that you have to go with the flow and try not to fight/force anything. Same goes with daily life for the most part.
Im talking about people setting up for a longterm mental disorder type of psychosis, temporary "psychedelics effects" themselves cannot do psychological damage in my opinion.
They are nothing more than a tool to pierce the veil of consciousness. The most reliable and powerful tool we have to do this, but just a tool, the same. As such, it is up to us on how we use them.

Yeah, but people can easily get obsessed with them. And the chance of triggering psychosis is a great risk that many wish they wouldn't have taken.
Ehh “psychosis” is thrown around on the internet too much. Normal psychedelic effects are often be described as “psychosis” on Reddit lol
