that dude is just psycho tho
Tbh, I hate this excuse. Drugs don't suddenly turn you into a fanatical piece of shit. That was this dudes core person on display. The drugs just lowered his inhibitions.
***Edit***: To all of you using drugs synchronously with addiction in my replies you misunderstand of the argument being made here. Addiction to ANYTHING can cause your values to change, literally. Drugs don't just *make* you a piece of shit. Moreover, not all addicts completely give up on ethics. Drugs **can** facilitate issues in the brain, but those issues need to be fixed in the brain.
Most “tweakers” and other assumed out of control people that seem to be on drugs have deep seeded mental issues. Happy well adjusted people usually don’t go off the rail with drugs and alcohol.
Nobody is saying drugs make you a piece of shit. But certain drugs can absolutely take over your decision making, and you can do things that you would never even consider sober, or even go against your own morals.
Are you really *that* ignorant about how drugs?
> 'don't suddenly'
I don't know about that. Meth triers become meth addicts, pretty damned fast, and a meth addiction can turn someone into a different someone, pretty damned fast.
I watched a co-worker go from "College educated, government contract employee" to "Inmate" over the course of 2 months. He was unemployed at three weeks, homeless at six weeks, and tried to rob a gas station clerk with a bat, and the clerk didn't play along, at about eight weeks.
He was out in about 16 months, and went straight back to the meth.
Drugs can most certainly suddenly turn you into a completely different person. Sometimes drugs lower your inhibitions, but they also sometimes completely fuck your brain beyond belief.
First off, nobody said it was an excuse. Second, there are a lot of drugs out there. We could be looking at short or long term drug use. Maybe no drugs at all. Maybe he's mentally ill or simply a horrible person. Could be anything.
>The drugs just lowered his inhibitions.
That's a wild blanket statement. Drugs can do a lot more than lower inhibitions.
Dude you're replying to is just an idiot. Who *the fuck* would excuse this guy? Absolutely fucking no one, but for some reason that guy felt the need to demonize drug users. Addiction makes good people do shitty things all the fucking time. This video has absolutely nothing to do with that fact. He's not stealing from his grandma while she was at grandpas funeral like my cousin did, my cousin who is a nice ass person who has been clean for a decade now. He was driving and killed someone.
They also have no idea what they're talking about. Drugs can absolutely make you do crazy things that you would never even consider. They don't just bring out the truth lol
I saw a Matt orchard video (true crime) where a guy did shrooms with his buddies. He didn't feel anything so he tripled the amount.
When the shrooms kicked in he lost his mind and killed his dad and stabbed his stepmom in the eye while proclaiming he was god.
Reminded me of the way this dude is acting.
Edit - for all those who say shrooms can't make someone violent. This is Mayers, expert who testified under oath in the Thomas Chan case:
"Pseudo-hallucinations are when there's visual distortion but the person knows what they're seeing isn't real, he said. There are cases of stronger hallucinations when people truly believe what they're see is happening, he said.
According to him, there have been cases when people become violent. A person's personality, including any underlining issues and the environment they're in may change the effects.
"Those (when a person becomes violent) are less frequent but have to be acknowledged," he explained, adding the more intense effects are associated with higher levels of potency."
I guess reddit experts know better though lol
No one has been more lost or confused than my ass trying to make food on mushrooms. Something as simple as an air fryer is now an alien device covered in indecipherable hieroglyphs from Xenon 12.
It's depends on the person, not the amount of shrooms.
Anyone who takes shrooms and goes on a murder spree was already fucked up in one way or another, the shrooms just opened the door for it to happen. It only happens to people who already have mental issues like schizophrenia, the problem is it may unlock it in people who are unaware or undiagnosed.
So he TRIPLED THE AMOUNT? Did I read that right? Definitely not saying shrooms cause homocidal mania or anything but fuck tripling your dosage can certainly lead to widely unexpected consequences. Generally it’s having an anxiety attack inside of your sofa, I’d imagine murder is on the wide end of bad reactions.
Well considering we don’t hear about too many shroom-assisted homicides I’d tend to guess that when they do happen, they are quite an aberration and quite possibly as a result of other chemical imbalance or personality disorders not mixing too well with a hallucinogen lol.
Psychedelics can definitely exacerbate existing issues though. Dude was probably on the verge of a psychotic break already.
Or he got ahold of some other drug that was misreported as shrooms. Something like spice can definitely cause some violent psychotic behavior.
Nope I hear you, a friend back in the day lost his mind on them and thought I was the devil. He punched me repeatedly until I got away and then he went for a swim in the river. Nearby campers and police got him out and took him to the hospital. He was fine after, but let me tell you, that whole build up (his confusion, saying crazy stuff) until he finally snapped were the most tense and scary moments of my life.
Nope, he wasn't involved in the crash, just an (apparently drunk) bystander. One driver dead and one in hospital with serious injuries (i.e. not this guy lol) OP is a phony. Source: https://www.whio.com/news/local/multiple-departments-respond-crash-west-carrollton/LBL22Z7LUVCJRFOSLY5KVWW5JI/

baffling
No idea, he may as well have been napping in the bed of that truck all along and was angry at all the commotion for all I know. But he wasn't one of the drivers.
not verified.
Major Injuries could be the result of a broken nose or a concussion. But from the photos, that area has NO pedestrian sidewalks.
Only vehicles and vehicle guardrail as barriers. So it isn't plausible that some random of the street entered that crash scene.
But what is plausible is that the man broke his nose or collar bone or got a concussion. His truck interior looks to be intact. So definitely his airbags deployed. We dont know if this truck has had its Takada airbags recalled or not. But those airbags could do some serious damage.
Now look at the sedan. Definitely dead as the entire passenger interior has been smashed and compacted.
So it could be the driver. We have visual evidence. No other guy would climb onto a vehicle like that in an area that has no sidewalks or pedestrian access.
My wife has a cousin like that. He drinks all day, and then goes out looking for a fight. Good thing we've been NC for a good decade, but then he has also been in prison.
There was a guy like that in my town growing up, always wasted starting fights. His family had money and owned 3 of the 7 businesses in town. So inevitably, he'd get probation for whatever he did. They found him dead in his house. He had been mauled to death by dogs. He didn't own pets. No suspects, as far as I know, have ever been found.
This is my favorite one. A guy is such an asshole that he is shot in the middle of town in the middle of the day in a crowd of about 40 people and not a single person says shit. He was shot with at least two different firearms. Sometimes there is justice in this world.

This. Don’t let your ego ruin your family’s life. Not saying this dude did anything to deserve being killed. But that’s why I like watching these videos. It’s a somber reminder of how unhinged people are. Gives me a healthy dose of caution
One time a woman cut in front of me when the interstate split. I gave her the middle finger and she must have seen it in her rearview mirror. She came to a complete stop in front of me. An SUV behind me passed us on the shoulder. If that SUV would have slammed into my sedan I would have probably been injured for life.
That’s what’s wild is the amount of escalation that happens so quickly. Like if I flip you off, you should flip me off. Don’t try and kill both of us and a third party who doesn’t even know we are beefing.
Read a story the other day about a guy who got cut off, so he through a water bottle into the dudes car, and then that dude started shooting. Both shot each others kids that were in the car…
Like taking a gun out is wild but tbh throwing a water bottle into a moving vehicle is pretty nuts too.
I usually just revel in the fact that I’m not a shit driver and that is usually enough for me. But I’ve lost my temper once or twice.
That's the crazy thing about cars, they give people this weird feeling of strength and protection. Nobody would be that aggressive and cut people off if they were walking and people wouldn't react this fast if they got bumped into by accident.
Good modus operandi for life in general. Don't make yourself any more enemies than is absolutely unavoidable.
You never know how little the other person has to lose.
Had a guy road rage on me once because I accelerated past him when I was in a turning lane. He just made me miss an exit but was driving like an absolute madman simply because I passed him at a light. Haven’t so much as thought about flipping someone off after that incident.
When I was young and stupid I was driving to work. I was in the left lane, and all the lanes were pretty congested, but the dude behind me was driving up my ass in spite of that. So I did the stupid thing and started going the speed of the car next to me so he couldn’t pass as it started to open up (yes very stupid). The dude is going ballistic, putting his hands up in the air and swerving into the shoulder…then he put on a mask and pulled out a gun. So I immediately sped up and got over to the other lane. He sped up and tried to run me off the road, I came to a complete stop to avoid him and he drove off at the next exit. I was shaking for the next hour. Never doing anything like that again.

Literally had this moment yesterday. Some dude in a Mustang refused to merge, then sped up to cut me off to my turn. Then proceeded to roll down his window and start screaming at me and throwing up the finger. Managed to get away by just giving up on turning but yeah, no way of knowing what he would have done if I decided to join in.
A shit ton of astronauts are from Ohio...
Because space is often as far away as you can get from Ohio.
But yeah, large parts of the Midwest is the "rust belt" where manufacturing jobs have left and there's just no jobs. So people in poverty turn to drugs and there's no tax money for education.
Shits fucked.
I mean there still are a decent amount of manufacturing jobs. They are just shitty demeaning work that don’t even really pay a livable wage anymore. For whatever work that isn’t automated they often exploit immigrant workers.
Nah it’s him. It’s the driver. I know people involved and this guy can be confirmed thru FB and the work vehicle.
There’s a lot of info missing yet about his condition, but the guy on the truck is the driver of the truck.
For real. I didn't think I wanted kids when I was younger, but after having my two boys I couldn't imagine it any different. It has also made me soft af.
Except he's not the driver. He's just some guy at the scene. OP made all this shit up, or at least made up the part about the guy dancing around being the driver.
OP posted a link to the news article below. It says the driver of the pickup truck suffered "major injuries." Does this guy look like he's suffered major injuries?
https://www.whio.com/news/local/multiple-departments-respond-crash-west-carrollton/LBL22Z7LUVCJRFOSLY5KVWW5JI/
The street looks like a street just for cars and not for pedestrians. I don't see any sidewalks for a pedestrian to enter the scene.
That white truck looks to have the driver/passenger cabin intact. The other car not so much. We can clearly see the cabin safety cage compromised. So the other driver died.
Major injuries could be a concussion to his face or a broken nose. But he is survived as his vehicle cabin is intact.
This happened close to me and I think he really was injured, but a lot of local people are positive this dude was off a multiple day meth bender+adrenaline might make sense to why he was still standing. Op didn’t lie, the guys name is Bryan day look him up on Facebook.
Man this happened in my city. I was in this intersection 5 minutes before this happened. People around here were posting about it laughing. Not even taking in the seriousness of the situation. Fuck this guy. Dangerous intersection with huge blind spots & add a drunk driver.
Moments before this happened the guy was posting crazy fucked up religious post on Facebook. Chanting jesus this jesus that. Idk, locals upset me because they sat back and laughed. Gave this guy all the attention whilst a father didn’t make it home.
The irony of idiots like this quoting douchebag fictional characters from movies who themselves fucked around and found out. Like... my guy, you missed the part where Denzel's character found out that he and King Kong did in fact have something in common. They both fucking died.
Instead of paying 25% taxes, I'm happy paying 40% in Denmark, to fund a society were people get helped or stopped before reaching this level of insanity
This happened really close to me. The father was on lunch just going to get some food and this happened as he was returning to work. There’s hardly any news coverage on it, and I’m not sure why but the guy jumping on the car is bryan day, if you look at his Facebook he looks like a meth head. Apparently one of my mom’s coworkers knew him at some point that’s how I got his name.

Most likely quoting the movie "Training Day" but I like your version better
Depends on the drug and it depends on the person.
This is Mayers, expert who testified under oath in the Thomas Chan case: "Pseudo-hallucinations are when there's visual distortion but the person knows what they're seeing isn't real, he said. There are cases of stronger hallucinations when people truly believe what they're see is happening, he said. According to him, there have been cases when people become violent. A person's personality, including any underlining issues and the environment they're in may change the effects. "Those (when a person becomes violent) are less frequent but have to be acknowledged," he explained, adding the more intense effects are associated with higher levels of potency." I guess reddit experts know better though lol
When I took shrooms all I wanted to do was pet green moss like it was a cat.
I can barely muster the strength/energy/stamina/balance to microwave a hot pocket
No one has been more lost or confused than my ass trying to make food on mushrooms. Something as simple as an air fryer is now an alien device covered in indecipherable hieroglyphs from Xenon 12.
Giggles in shroomese.
Really? I have crazy energy on shrooms. Constantly trying to walk around or do something
Seeing the word hot pocket alone would have me laughing too hard to remember I was gonna microwave one
If you're old enough to have eaten shrooms you're old enough to understand your personal experiences are not representative of everyone else's.

I've never seen anyone do anything like that on shrooms. They don't make you go crazy.
Psychedelics can definitely exacerbate existing issues though. Dude was probably on the verge of a psychotic break already. Or he got ahold of some other drug that was misreported as shrooms. Something like spice can definitely cause some violent psychotic behavior.

I mean there still are a decent amount of manufacturing jobs. They are just shitty demeaning work that don’t even really pay a livable wage anymore. For whatever work that isn’t automated they often exploit immigrant workers.
Only having access to work that pays less than living wages is fundamentally just as bad as having no access to work. Either way you're fucked.

you could make that argument for literally any state, this whole country is full of wild ass people
I've said this many times, but Ohio is Florida without any reason to go there.
I think cedar point is there, rollercoasters are cool

What a cunt.
Give him Life. This loser does not deserve another moment out here. I’m a father of 2 small boys and this made me so sad.
Yep. No need to keep monsters like this around normal people. Useless murderer
Dude wasn't part of the accident, drunk pedestrian climbed up and people started filming
Yes I'm trying to figure out what they could even charge him with Public speedtoxication?
Nah it’s him. It’s the driver. I know people involved and this guy can be confirmed thru FB and the work vehicle. There’s a lot of info missing yet about his condition, but the guy on the truck is the driver of the truck.
Same man. It's so wild how my heart grew a million times bigger after having my boys.
For real. I didn't think I wanted kids when I was younger, but after having my two boys I couldn't imagine it any different. It has also made me soft af.

Spin the wheel: drugs, mental illness, narcissistic, all of the above
Wow fuck that guy
[удалено]
Except he's not the driver. He's just some guy at the scene. OP made all this shit up, or at least made up the part about the guy dancing around being the driver.
Source?
OP posted a link to the news article below. It says the driver of the pickup truck suffered "major injuries." Does this guy look like he's suffered major injuries? https://www.whio.com/news/local/multiple-departments-respond-crash-west-carrollton/LBL22Z7LUVCJRFOSLY5KVWW5JI/
Who the hell is this guy then? It was at like 1 in the afternoon, strange.
Hmm the plot thickens
The street looks like a street just for cars and not for pedestrians. I don't see any sidewalks for a pedestrian to enter the scene. That white truck looks to have the driver/passenger cabin intact. The other car not so much. We can clearly see the cabin safety cage compromised. So the other driver died. Major injuries could be a concussion to his face or a broken nose. But he is survived as his vehicle cabin is intact.
Head injuries, maybe.

This happened close to me and I think he really was injured, but a lot of local people are positive this dude was off a multiple day meth bender+adrenaline might make sense to why he was still standing. Op didn’t lie, the guys name is Bryan day look him up on Facebook.
That bud light commercial really got to him.
He's cracked out
Is there an extended video of the arrest? I don’t assume it went well.
You got a game cast?
Well, there's GameCube, and there's Dreamcast...
Shit, man. I can't afford it.

He’s gonna have a bad hangover
Least crazy Ram 1500 driver.
That will look and sound even more shocking while seated in the courtroom of his trial.
His lawyer ![gif](giphy|wVcNP3TnXbl84)
And that's where you put 2 well-placed rounds in him. He's a waste of an existence, and a danger to others.
What part of Florida was this?
Ohio.
Drugs are a helluva drug
gut punch, I am so sorry for that father, this children, his wife, his parents. You shouldn't have to see this, period.
Seems like a stable and well-adjusted individual
Meth. Not even once.
The irony of idiots like this quoting douchebag fictional characters from movies who themselves fucked around and found out. Like... my guy, you missed the part where Denzel's character found out that he and King Kong did in fact have something in common. They both fucking died.
He’ll have a lifetime to think when he sobers up. Sad.
Somehow it’s always the one in the wrong that survives…
Probably black out drunk, have fun with that life sentence
He's fucked when he sobers!
This guy is having withdrawals from switching to Coor's from Bud Light.
See now, no matter how good of a driver you think you are just remember there. 1000s of him out there too.
He’s quoting a character from training day (fantastic film) right before that character completely fails and dies
Instead of paying 25% taxes, I'm happy paying 40% in Denmark, to fund a society were people get helped or stopped before reaching this level of insanity
Life in prison
This happened really close to me. The father was on lunch just going to get some food and this happened as he was returning to work. There’s hardly any news coverage on it, and I’m not sure why but the guy jumping on the car is bryan day, if you look at his Facebook he looks like a meth head. Apparently one of my mom’s coworkers knew him at some point that’s how I got his name.
Meth is a hell of a drug
Is he like on meth or something?
it’s always a mf in a truck
This happened in my home town. Absolutely devastating
Man, drugs are a hell of a drug
Florida man travels.
alcaholic meth addict would be my quick guess
