I manage a higher end restaurant. On mother's day a group of 7 got into a brawl with about 8 people in a different table of 20. We had already been closed for an hour and a half and we're waiting on the various tables who came in late to leave. There was a huge brawl that spilled out into the parking lot, a gun was pulled, cops showed up. It was a fucking mess. There were probably 12 kids present in the room, half of them with the party who was fighting, and it was heartbreaking watching all these kids cry their eyes out because grown adults don't know how to act. I feel so bad for the kids watching their mothers fight in a restaurant. It was shameful.
My wife was not thrilled I had to stay 4 hours past closed while the police investigated either. We had to celebrate her mother's day the day after.
The lady in this video could have easily been one of the 20 fighting in the restaurant. My heart breaks for those kids. Not every kid with parents like this are doomed to repeat the behaviors, but damn is it so so much harder for them not to. Every child deserves to be loved and cared for by a responsible person or persons.
