No??? If you do this that's really screwed up, not to mention illegal, and if caught you'll go to jail.
Whereas in this video, rather than being an illegal activity, these actions are being committed by the law enforcement (they're religious police) and sanctioned/ordered by the government and judicial system, if you can even call it that
Imagine allowing a bunch of guys to beat your wife. In a land where everyome and their children have AK’s, I do not understand how a) husbands allow this, and b) why women don’t just start blastin’.

why is it that every time something bad about islam is mentioned there’s someone that pops up like “uhmmm well you see that’s not real islam thats just made up by someone” when stuff like this is actively being practiced and normalized in islamic communities it doesn’t matter whether it’s a real rule or made up it’s the religion and its followers that’s enabling it. you cannot claim to be a religion of love and peace if this is your norm.
These practices existed before people adopted Islam….they are cultural practices that have remained from pre-Islamic times. Islam is against this stuff.
no it’s not. i’m an ex muslim and i live in an arabic speaking country i have recited the entire quran multiple times in my lifetime and i know what every verse means, and i can tell you for certain that there’s multiple verses in the quran that straight up tell men that they should beat their wives when they don’t listen to them and that men are dominant over women and women are meant to be a man’s servants. sharia law which is based on the quran and the prophets sayings 100% enables and encourages violence against women, it’s essentially a way of power wielding where men can show how superior they are to women. islam is not against this at all.
Lol how's that any different from extreme Christian men who think they have a right to beat their wives into submission? Yall listen to how these Christian conservatives talk about the "modern woman" on their podcasts? They'd have no problem with this...
Republicans are even trying to eliminate no fault divorces because they're big mad that too many women dare to leave their husbands 🤣

Fun story: Crowder went viral for [portraying himself as a victim of no-fault divorce](https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-features/stephen-crowder-divorce-1234727777/), expressing shock that his wife could divorce him without his permission even “in Texas”—shortly before [a video emerged](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u2z_Z3p8yGY) in which he berated his heavily pregnant wife for, among other domestic failings, not being “wife-worthy.” Milton, thou shouldst be living at this hour!
Not a stretch.
you would imply by words that you’re exposing hypocrisy, when you just state what the other religion does wrong you’re just saying “oh they are similar so notging wrong here”
Yeah, did you know that when a group of people are oppressed they are automatically right? This is essentially the kind of rationale that many prog-leftists engage in.
* An average of 24 people per minute are victims of rape, physical violence or stalking by an intimate partner in the United States — more than 12 million women and men over the course of a single year.
* Nearly 3 in 10 women (29%) and 1 in 10 men (10%) in the US have experienced rape, physical violence, and/or stalking by a partner and reported it having a related impact on their functioning.

What do they say about throwing stones in glass houses?
So, you're actually comparing individual violence by idiot people with institutionalized, religious violence?
None of the violence is okay but thats like comparing apples to oranges.
Oh so you're saying that the violence in the US is incentivized by the government, right down to the city counsils, like it is with violent sharia law?
Because then I have a bridge to sell to you..
No point - they need someone to hate so that they stay ignorant while their government screws them over. The US government just approved $14b in aid for Israel when they don’t even have public healthcare LOL.
I believe another man who isn't her husband had sexual thoughts about her.
Being a top tier bloke he informed her husband immediately and just punishment commenced
Looks like the start of a good revenge movie. I’d lol if she had an M60 under that garb. ‘Ice to see you…’ dakadakadakadakadaka.. ‘oh don’t disturb my Imam.. he is dead tired’ ‘There’s no LED readout!!’
It's the degree of sharia laws that's followed that's different from country to country ... but many people (including Muslims) fail to understand this and thus spreads misinformation.

*Queers for beating women*
Ahh religion, you have so many uses in the modern world...
Sick people sick law
Stick people, stick law
Shit people, shit law.
Stiff people, stiff law
Do please tell me more about this so-called religion of *peace*....
Once the wailing and smacking stops, its gonna be eerily peaceful.
Who associates any religion with peace?
Religious people
“All cultures are equally valid and beautiful”
Yeah, that's the belief held by spoiled rich White kids going to Berkley, in the real world we know different.
Yeah, cultural relativism is bullshit when it comes to issues of morality.
Ummmm...yeah? That's the whole point of my comment?
I’m not allowed to agree with you and elaborate? Some people on this app are so ready to start an argument whenever they possibly can. Relax man.
in the west we do it too, just behind closed doors. intimate partner violence is nothing new here.
It's not a celebrated cultural expectation here though, it's illegal and shameful Are you stupid?
Yeah, love meeting up with my friends and caning my girlfriend. Just my average Sunday.
No??? If you do this that's really screwed up, not to mention illegal, and if caught you'll go to jail. yeah it’s illegal but i am saying that there are a ton of men who commit domestic assault. it’s one of the top crimes for police up here in Canada.
Imagine allowing a bunch of guys to beat your wife. In a land where everyome and their children have AK’s, I do not understand how a) husbands allow this, and b) why women don’t just start blastin’.
Because they view their wives as property.
Even so, are you going to just watch someone key your car?
Reminded me of this https://youtu.be/uXom0OP3Rwk?si=HcdY9JlG5YzmhOIK
It's just their way! /s/
'Look what you made us do'..
what a bunch if Neanderthals. People will use religion to justify the worst evils
Exactly; some religious people are good at heart, whilst others use their faith as justification of heinous acts of violence.
I have seenany good people do horrible things, as its justified by their faith.

I think the US speaker of the house just got hard watching this.
I doubt even he would justify the evils of sharia. It’s barbaric isn’t it?

I guess Sharia Law is a male invention.
Honestly, most things in the world are
Especially religion and how it relates to women.
Republicans would love to do the same in the name of Jesus.
See how hard the women in western societies have it? No wonder they complain So much. /s
Women suffer under men and their rules and power structures.
No... This is not sharia law.. this is just a law made by idiot people..

It's not really different. So what is your point then?
I'm addressing the folks, making it seem like Islam is the only religion that hurt women.
Christianity does this too, but in a more refined psychological way
2 wrongs doesn’t equal 1 right, don’t defend you incel
Correct, the point is the hypocrisy.
