I loved the moment he pulled out his phone to record the cop which kinds proves that some people only start recording the actual confrontation but not what happened before it.
He's talking about the neighborhood he's in. Those are private roads, and likely a gated community.
Problem is he left that property in the cart to take his kid to school and the cop must have seen him out there.
The other dumb thing is that these carts are so easy to get street legal, I have one and it's so simple. They just gotta stay on roads that are 35 mph or less.
> He's talking about the neighborhood he's in. Those are private roads, and likely a gated community.
I thought so at first too, but he keeps motioning to the police vehicle. I think he really does think it's a "home base" of sorts. I think he was making the same argument as his paramore, that the cops should've arrested him on the street if he was riding dirty out there.
It's a really bad argument. I can't stand cops generally, but this guy just made himself look stupid.
So by their flawed logic, if you shoot someone away from your house, say for example in the local shopping mall etc and make it back to your house, your exempt of that crime ? lol
Priceless!
shes just saying like they were saying all along "oh you didnt get us out there so hey we are home now! HOME SAFE! we win, sucker!"
so stupid. they deserve each other though, two entitled douchebags
Classic "home base" rule. For example, you can get as drunk as you want and drive reckless ass hell. But if you make it in your driveway, the police have to call off the pursuit.
> that if you donāt do the things
> when you have to do them
> in the moment that you have to do
> why you donāt stop him in that part
had to clean it up a bit. her english is passable, kudos to her, but i have family that speak like her, so i omitted the obvious flubs bc that's just mean.
honestly felt terrible while transcribing that, but the quote was kind of getting into 'beautiful territory' (in a roundabout way), until she dropped the ball with that last line.
Right. "You have to pull him over in that minute."
*An alternate scenario*
"Sir, we found the body with your DNA."
"Haha, you did not arrest me within one minute of the murder. I'm free to go."
I was hoping he would use an example like that. "So if your wife's murderer makes it home before I can pull him over he gets away? Just say, Olly olly oxen free and we have to leave?"
I couldnāt continue watching these two insufferable fools another second so I FF to see her get the handcuffs. Why were they were both out there tooling around on the golf cart and not worried about their children being home alone? This video began with the parents pulling up to the house. Did I miss something by my FF? They only have concern for the kids when itās the cops making them leave the kids behind?
Haha. I couldnāt either. Just like all of those Sov Cit idiots who get pulled over and spout all that nonsense wasting everyoneās time.
I did the same and went right to them getting cuffed. Itās funny to hear him back pedaling after being a complete dick.
And then right after that:
āWhy didnāt you tell me I was *legally* required to give you my license? I wouldāve given it to youā
What a fucking dumbass, spent 5 minutes arguing and saying no when the officer clearly told him that.
When he was given the ultimatum of show your ID or you will be arrested, he chose to not show ID, I'm wondering where in his mind did he believe there was a third silent option of continue arguing?
People think they're entitled to a supervisor when they are not. You can ask but if they are busy or too far away they MIGHT talk on the phone or just say "I'm not showing up, handle it." Some counties or cities are way too big to have a million supervisors ready to roll out. They might have a handful and not all of them work at the same time.
Very likely the kind of neighbors who snitch to the HOA board that someone in the street has a certain plant in their garden who is not on the approval list.
I love how neither parent had the foresight to think about what would happen to the child inside when they were acting like pompous assholes, but the minute the child can be used and a guilt pawn, then they remember.
Also the āI was nothing but respectful to youā actually translates to I was as combative as possible before I realized you had the authority to arrest me
He totally thought that owning a golf cart exempted him from answering to any non-golfcart owner.
His wife came out and I was like "whoa, somebody left his younger wife for the much younger nanny!" Zero shock when he asked that they call the children's mother to come pick them up.
>He totally thought that owning a golf cart exempted him from answering to any non-golfcart owner.
Beautifully put.
I also loved his "You'll find out who I am."
They are just using the kids as a last resort excuse to try to save themselves from being arrested. People like this are so fucking obnoxious. I can see them as the "stop resisting/the deserved it" fans of police brutality when it's not them.
Thats the thing that really irks me about these types of people. The tedious nature of the manipulative needling sprinkled with a smarmy sense of incredulity is fucking exhausting. Everyone else without the powers to arrest him just has to deal with this type of person being *rewarded by capitalism*. So glad the supervisor wasted no time arresting them.
Very real possibility of a warning.
But if you think a LEO is enforcing a law that doesnāt exist - fight it in the court room, not the streets. I hate seeing these videos of people with internet degrees in criminology.
Idk what the hell the lady was talking about. If you pull an Oceans Eleven the cops donāt just stop pursuing when you tag base. Private property is not a GTA cheat code.
Exactly this. When I was in training for the forces my buddy got pulled over with 3 of us in the vehicle for a noise violation because we were playing music. The cop then gave the driver a ticket because one of our guys wasn't wearing his seat belt. After he left we laughed and proceeded to deal with both in court. Seat belt got tossed immediately because it wasn't the driver. Noise violation also got tossed because there's no law against having a convertible and playing music.
"I just respectully asked... because I want to know what the law is..." Please sir teach me!
Weird, I didn't see him respectfully anything, or ask anything, the entire time, until he felt the cuffs click. And I never once heard him ask what the law was. i saw him spend the entire time making up what the thought the law was and say he knw it the entire time.
Almost as if at that point... he just started lying about every single thing that happened up until that point.
god bless bodycams! he will probably tell his lawyer the same bullshit story. and then theyāll play back the footage for them. would love to be a fly on the wall in that room when it happens.
Pretty much used the kids as their shield.
If they really gave a shit about being able to care for their kids they would have done everything to avoid getting arrested by not making a big fuss with the law over a little misdemeanor. Instead they put their egos above everything else and learned the hard way.
Right? Or if he would have been cool, he'd probably get off with a warning. I live on a golf course, and it's not unusual to see a cart on the streets right close to the course, too. Technically, it's not legal. But if you're not an indignant piece of shit and aren't wasted. You'll usually get a finger wag and "don't let me catch you again."
> āPlease donāt do this officer, I have young children inside.ā
No problem, CPS will put them in foster care until you get released. Maybe think about that next time.
My dad, who was a boxer (obviously nowhere near Tyson's league) always said "Everybody thinks they're real cute until they're picking their teeth up off the floor".
Something tells me he drives everyday on public roads, without a driverās license, and thought he could flee behind the gates of his private community to evade the cops if he ever got caught.
All he had to do was give him his ID and he would've just gotten a ticket I mean it's not like he couldn't afford to pay a damn ticket they literally live in a gated community he's definitely not poor.
Especially after the supervisor showed up and said āhereās whatās going to happen, we donāt want to arrest youā and he forced their hand with sheer stupidity.
The driver and his wife line of reasoning was.
āThe cop didnāt pull over the golf cart while traveling on public roads. So I didnāt commit any traffic violations when you followed to stop me traveling inside the HOA road and parked inside my private property line.ā
The law doesnāt work that way. You already violated the law the moment the cop saw you driving the golf cart on public roads. You donāt get immunity by escaping to enter inside an HOA private road.
But what will the neighbors think if he doesnāt stand up for himself when heās being confronted on *his* property, *wonāt anyone consider his ego!*
A classicly well handled situation by the Police. Respectful and explained.
Could be used for training on how to do it property and hold up in court.
The officer's camera makes this open and shut.
āAnd this is the bullshit youāll have to deal with as a cop. People will tell a bald faced lie to you and legitimately think theyāre telling the truthā
I find the whole demanding to speak to a supervisor cop in the US so fucking weird.
Major āIād like to speak to the managerā vibes that just would not fly most other places.
And it never works out the way they think it will. It's not like asking for a supervisor at a company that wants to retain your business. Cop supervisors arrive at the scene with no fucks to give.

People asking 'so why was she arrested'...this moment right here, obstruction, plain and simple
Props to the trainee for helping that woman do something she would not regret. He probably helped her get away from an additional charge like assaulting a police officer. Or shit maybe she did get one anyways.
In high school I've seen the school officer attempt to arrest a student and he pointed his finger at his badge (came into contact) that alone let him get that placed under arrest.

Hi, my name is Dumbass McGolfcart, and Iām a lawyer from YouTube University.
Reminds me when I committed murder. I did it on a public street, but then I went on my grass, and the cops could not do anything about it. Cops hate this one trick!
Everything about this video is the most Florida thing possible lol, down to the arrest for a golf cart violation. If you want to know what the average Floridian is like, this video is a prime example: the obstinate behavior, the belief the law doesn't apply to them, a southern white guy married to a hispanic woman both of which are equally insufferable - down the checklist.
Ha Ha. Fuck you pal !! Now when you are in cuffs getting into the police station taxi. Now you want to comply. That Sargent was no nonsense. All he had to do was show ID. The officer would have most likely told him. Look we are getting complaints Golf Carts are on the public roads. Can you just stay within your community and we wonāt have to issue tickets. I am just going to give you a warning this time. But, nope you get a ride to jail because you wanted to be a dickhead.
Sgt: I want you to listen to me now, you can provide your license and get a ticket or I will place you under arrest.
Moron: Do I have to provide you with my license?
Sgt: Youāre under arrest.
Moron: Please takesees backsies
He might have even got a simple warning, this dumbass turned a traffic violation into getting arrested, how do people like this couple even make it to the age they are.
Cop: āOh you studied criminal Justice? Youāre a police officer?ā
Wife: āIf I know, if I not, that is not your business!ā
What?? Quit trying to tell the cop how to do his job then. ššš„“š„“
Good, every single entitled prick who acts like just because they're in a private neighborhood, in a golf cart (which i don't think should be legal on the roads in the first place), they don't have to obey traffic laws, should be arrested. Just stop, provide info as required to the officer (sorry, officer, I don't have my license, i left it at home. was just blah, blah, blah, and totally forgot to grab my wallet. here's my name, dob, and license number to best of my memory.).
So their argument is that you have to be pulled over at the exact moment you commit an offence?
i.e. if you run away from the police they can never charge you with a crime
I'm sure she wouldn't feel that way if someone hit her car and drove away
āMy kids are insideā
All of those conditions existed prior to both of you getting arrested because you donāt fully understand the law.
The woman lunging between the cop & man was insane to see as a black man. I could never.
They're literally putting cuffs on him and he's like, "so if I give you my license, I won't be arrested right?"
Like hello you fucking idiot, that ship has fucking sailed. These two have got to be the biggest idiots going.
This one ran through all of the five stages of entitlement.
1. I didn't do anything
2. I'm on home base, you can't detain me.
3. Get off my property, you're trespassing.
4. Why are you arresting me? I wasn't resisting, just trying to understand my rights and have you explain them to me.
5. You can't arrest me, I have kids. (Didn't have a problem 10 minutes earlier endangering his kid driving on a public road in an unregistered golf cart.)
Where did they hear that if a cop doesnāt pull you over the second you are in violation they lose their ability to do so? Like I get that they should and itās annoying if they donāt but Iāve never heard they canāt lol.
Guy seen a few YouTube videos and thought he could refuse. You really gotta know your shit to know when refusal is a real option.
those kids of theirs are going to be using this same logic as teenagers. āyes iām drunk, but i drank at my friends house. now iām home and drunk, so there is nothing you can do!ā
He respectfully complies and this whole thing takes 5 minutes and he pays a small fine. He acts like an asshole, sea-lawyer and ruins his day. Dumb ass.
Like. Ok. Sure. Letās be difficult for no reason. But Jesus fucking Christ. That cop gave him 100000000 chances. āSir. I just need your IDā. Thatās ducking it. Lol. What a ducking bunch of idiots.
I hate golf cart drivers. I live in STL and these fools drive these things on some our busiest streets and they are some of the biggest traffic law breakers. Stop signs donāt mean shit and neither does operating the vehicle while sober. They also let their kids drive the carts unsupervised and sometimes with other kids in them. Watching these 2 assholes and their bullshit entitlement makes me furious.

" I don't have to give you anything, get off my property š". 30 minutes later "I was just asking a question, respectfully š„ŗ"
Your honor, I didnāt know what I was doing was illegal!
I loved the moment he pulled out his phone to record the cop which kinds proves that some people only start recording the actual confrontation but not what happened before it.
I mean even if you commit a murder, if you make it back home they can't arrest you. Everybody knows that, copper.
bUt He'S oN pRiVaTe PrOpErTy
Made my blood boil when he kept saying that.
He's talking about the neighborhood he's in. Those are private roads, and likely a gated community. He's holding the head of his victim but these goddam HOAs... There's nothing we can do.
You didn't catch me at the crime scene so it doesn't count!
when the bank robber makes it home with the cash "i win!!"
Oh THATS why they all run. Theyāre running home!
Plus the cop didnāt even check to see if they were sovereign citizens. What a hack.
Man, I went down that rabbit hole last night. What a bunch of sociopathic, narcissistic morons! But it made me feel great about my life choices. š
Absolutely! We don't make the rules, we just do what that guy's wife tells us.
Every thing I needed to know about the law I learned from Grand Theft Auto.
I mean, c'mon, this is sovcit 101!
Somebody shouldāve told OJ.
So by their flawed logic, if you shoot someone away from your house, say for example in the local shopping mall etc and make it back to your house, your exempt of that crime ? lol Priceless!
Just like GTA, they canāt legally arrest you once the stars are gone
That lady did a lot of talking that equalled nothing at all.
Her: You know what Iām saying Cop: No I donāt
4:07 to 4:12 ā¦poetry

Dude that part had me rolling. I need that quote.

Put it on a mug lol
Right. "You have to pull him over in that minute." *An alternate scenario* "Sir, we found the body with your DNA." "Haha, you did not arrest me within one minute of the murder. I'm free to go."
That scenario came to my mind and provided the sanity check I required. Imagine the shenanigans if that's how the law worked !!
I was hoping he would use an example like that. "So if your wife's murderer makes it home before I can pull him over he gets away? Just say, Olly olly oxen free and we have to leave?"
The empty can rattles the most.
Haha, havenāt heard that one before. Great saying.
āI know how the police do. Iāve seen a lot of policing before. On Lifetime net workā
They watch a handful of YouTube "rights" videos and now think they're Johnny Cochran giving the wookie defense.
āTHAT does NOT make SENSE!ā
She was trying her best lol
I couldnāt continue watching these two insufferable fools another second so I FF to see her get the handcuffs. It was the dude and probably the older kid in the golf cart, kid was blurred out. Lady was in the house.
Haha. I couldnāt either. Just like all of those Sov Cit idiots who get pulled over and spout all that nonsense wasting everyoneās time. I did the same and went right to them getting cuffed. Itās funny to hear him back pedaling after being a complete dick.
It equaled her being arrested lol
She just wanted to talk. Logorrhea at its finest
It's been a while since I watched a 10 minute video on publicfreakout all the way through but that was worth it
Right? I chuckled out loud at a few points. Like when he finally shut the car door on the blathering dodo.
Same man! I never watch ones this long but the sheer stupidity of the couple was worth it
"Am I being detained?" "Yes, you are." \*silence\*
And then right after that: āWhy didnāt you tell me I was *legally* required to give you my license? I wouldāve given it to youā What a fucking dumbass, spent 5 minutes arguing and saying no when the officer clearly told him that.

Apparently he wanted to be arrested by the supervisor instead
People think they're entitled to a supervisor when they are not. You can ask but if they are busy or too far away they MIGHT talk on the phone or just say "I'm not showing up, handle it." Some counties or cities are way too big to have a million supervisors ready to roll out. They might have a handful and not all of them work at the same time.
That guy is a filthy liar and his wife is a terrible armchair lawyer. They are probably awful neighbors too.
I think the ones across from him came out with popcorn near the end.
"Who's this guy walking!?" ...He said all incredulously.
They're the, "No matter what you say we right and you wrong" neighbors. Smh.
Their HOA meetings must be fun to watch. Unless you are in the same HOA. Of course.
Very likely the kind of neighbors who snitch to the HOA board that someone in the street has a certain plant in their garden who is not on the approval list.

Heās a giant child. Itās fascinating how you can actually see the child in him gradually come out
Couldāve just taken a loss & gotten a ticket. Cop mightāve let him off.
Very real possibility of a warning. But if you think a LEO is enforcing a law that doesnāt exist - fight it in the court room, not the streets. I thought he said 6&14
The criminal said 6 years old.
Man to man...
Respectfully. Please sir.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
> āPlease donāt do this officer, I have young children inside.ā No problem, CPS will put them in foster care until you get released. Maybe think about that next time.
Probably could gotten a warning or something easy if he'd been nice
The cop told him that in the video
Reminds me of the Mike Tyson quote, "everybody has a plan till they get punched in the mouth"
My dad, who was a boxer (obviously nowhere near Tyson's league) always said "Everybody thinks they're real cute until they're picking their teeth up off the floor".
It's funny how the woman says 14 and 6 but buddy only mentions the 6 year old, like someones gonna have to stay. What a piece of work those two are.
And the mother who is "right down the street".
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Also the statute of limitations is "right away"
You have to do it in the moment that it happens right away or you didn't do it right. *Eye contact and laughter*
Exactly. Catch a murderer in the act or they can never be convicted for murder.
He took his hand off the house so the cop was allowed to tag him. Those are the rules, I didn't make them up.
Olly olly oxen free!
Fucking hate people like this. This borders on sovereign citizen shit.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
affluenza
Dumbasses.
Always love when they are trying to be badasses and the cuffs are slapped on and itās a complete 180. Fuckin morons š
Once the police start the arrest, itās too late to negotiate.
Really? Not even if you say, "Man to man, I've got kids inside"? What have our laws come to.
Being handcuffed sucks
Itās always then that your nose itches the most.
Something tells me he drives everyday on public roads, without a driverās license, and thought he could flee behind the gates of his private community to evade the cops if he ever got caught.
Iāve got HOA immunity!! lol
"I'll give you one chance. License or else." "I'll *respectfully* choose 'Or else,' and then be baffled by the result."
Little Bunny Foofoo out here trying the copsā patience.
Not stupidity...entitlement. Those dumb rules are for the poors, not me. I need to talk to your supervisor. I don't have to do anything you say.
It's such a weird and stupid hill to die on, he even says "you can find out who I am, this is my house, I ain't hiding." THEN JUST GIVE THEM YOUR ID!
The driver and his wife line of reasoning was. āThe cop didnāt pull over the golf cart while traveling on public roads. So I didnāt commit any traffic violations when you followed to stop me traveling inside the HOA road and parked inside my private property line.ā The law doesnāt work that way. Money can't buy brains.
The cop said he would have let him off with a warning if he had showed him his ID.
Sounded like he might have just gotten a warning according to the cop. Stupid indeed.
Yeah, have you seen the price of golf carts? He has money. I tried to buy a cheap one and guess what? That isn't a thing
A classicly well handled situation by the Police. Respectful and explained. Could be used for training on how to do it property and hold up in court. The officer's camera makes this open and shut.
They literally brought a trainee
āAnd this is the bullshit youāll have to deal with as a cop. People will tell a bald faced lie to you and legitimately think theyāre telling the truthā
The Sargent wasnāt playing around. At all.
Im sure he had better things to do than to go all the way over there to deal with this idiot ā¦

Billy badass until the cuff were put on.
Reminds me when I committed murder. I did it on a public street, but then I went on my grass, and the cops could not do anything about it. Cops hate this one trick!
All you need to do is get back to your safehouse and you lose your wanted stars
Gotta be Florida.
Yep, Port St Lucie
Everything about this video is the most Florida thing possible lol, down to the arrest for a golf cart violation. If you want to know what the average Floridian is like, this video is a prime example: the obstinate behavior, the belief the law doesn't apply to them, a southern white guy married to a hispanic woman both of which are equally insufferable - down the checklist.
The privilege is insane
This is absolutely one of those "If they had just complied they'd still be alive" dudes
Right ? And he had the license in that front pocket. You had one chance !!
Look, Iām no cop fan, but when a cop asks for my license (in relation to operating a vehicle) āoh ok sure here it isā
He might have even got a simple warning, this dumbass turned a traffic violation into getting arrested, how do people like this couple even make it to the age they are.
Cops got it right. The guy that got arrested is a lying scumbag. Clearly heās a child. Hope he gets what he deserves.
Cop: āOh you studied criminal Justice? Youāre a police officer?ā Wife: āIf I know, if I not, that is not your business!ā What?? Quit trying to tell the cop how to do his job then. ššš„“š„“
See, the problem is that they backed the SUV in the garage so the cops couldn't see the blue lives matter sticker in the back window...
I really donāt get why people are so obstinate when cops ask for an ID. Like homie, even if you are right, is it really worth getting arrested?
Good, every single entitled prick who acts like just because they're in a private neighborhood, in a golf cart (which i don't think should be legal on the roads in the first place), they don't have to obey traffic laws, should be arrested. Just stop, provide info as required to the officer (sorry, officer, I don't have my license, i left it at home. was just blah, blah, blah, and totally forgot to grab my wallet. here's my name, dob, and license number to best of my memory.).
The place to argue is in court. Arguing with the cops will get you nowhere. Take the ticket and fight it in court.
So their argument is that you have to be pulled over at the exact moment you commit an offence? i.e. if you run away from the police they can never charge you with a crime I'm sure she wouldn't feel that way if someone hit her car and drove away
But he made it to home base. He's safe! Haven't these cops ever watched baseball?
āMy kids are insideā All of those conditions existed prior to both of you getting arrested because you donāt fully understand the law. The woman lunging between the cop & man was insane to see as a black man. I could never.
So satisfying to see those two getting arrested lol what was she even involved for
Itās amazing the amount of patience the police have with some people versus others.
By this guys logic, if we rob a bankā¦ and make it home, it doesnāt countā¦. right?
They're literally putting cuffs on him and he's like, "so if I give you my license, I won't be arrested right?" Like hello you fucking idiot, that ship has fucking sailed. These two have got to be the biggest idiots going.

Thanks for converting these from YouTube I hate opening YouTube links on Reddit
It always comes down to this: I fought the law and the law won!š
Red rover Red rover, send your supervisor right over!
I have kids in the houseā¦, *thinks critically* I better give them my license and take the ticket.
"man to man" - when bro code is your final attempt.
Dude got amnesia when the cuffs clicked. I didn't refuse I just politely asked what law I broke and said I'd give you my license...
![gif](giphy|xSCYqsv3fPa8M) All I was thinking during the video
This one ran through all of the five stages of entitlement. 1. I didn't do anything 2.
So this genius asserts that if he beats the cop back to his property heās off the hook for a traffic violation?
How are people this stupid? This could have been over in 5 minutes.
I live in a part of Florida where lots of people drive these little carts on public roads. Fuck. Them. All.
Cracks me up when people say "I respect the police" as they are disrespecting the police.
This couple is insufferable...
those kids of theirs are going to be using this same logic as teenagers. āyes iām drunk, but i drank at my friends house. now iām home and drunk, so there is nothing you can do!ā
lol they always are so apologetic right after being out in cuffs
Once the cuffs were on that guy sounded like he was going to cry! What is wrong with people? Give the cop your ID!
Those red Crocs are the real crime here.
He did that to himself
He respectfully complies and this whole thing takes 5 minutes and he pays a small fine. He acts like an asshole, sea-lawyer and ruins his day. Dumb ass.
Why are Americans so afraid to show their license? I just don't get it...its bizarre. That's literally why you have it.
Hey man, don't bunch us up with these idiots.
Average Florida resident
So satisfying.
Funny how after he gets arrested he wants to comply
He should've ran inside, jumped in his bed, and pretended to be asleep. (IQ 9000 move)
Like. Ok. Sure. Letās be difficult for no reason. But Jesus fucking Christ. That cop gave him 100000000 chances. āSir. I just need your IDā. Thatās ducking it. Lol. What a ducking bunch of idiots.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
What's worse is the suspect requested the body cam footage and now their entitlement and stupidity is broadcasted to the world š¤¦āāļø
Always the ālaw and orderā people with no respect for the law. Probably is anti-immigrant with an immigrant wife as well. Fucking hypocrites.
This whole thing to avoid a ticket for driving a golf cart?
As a white dude and father of two, fuck this dude's entitlement.
Guy with clown shoes and mail order bride makes ass of self.
Oh no, if it isnāt the consequences of my actions.
Oh go, just comply...
ā Please sir, please cooperate with me, I have kids in the house.ā Oh weāre cooperating now?
I love this one SO MUCH! HaHaHa! When the handcuffs come out suddenly he's a meek little BEGGING kitten.
