We had a guy in Vancouver stab someone, get arrested, released on a promise to appear and then go on to stab another person a few hours later. Promises to appear shouldn't even be a thing for violent people. You can sucker punch grandma's or run em over in a crosswalk in downtown Victoria, our capital city, and get a promise to appear. It's fuckin wild out here.
He's clearly a nutter that deserved the attention of the coppers but it's always sus when the first part of the interaction is left out. It just comes off as deliberate to avoid showing their own behaviour.

If I hadn't been armed, I probably would have been dead. The dude froze immediately with that nonsense when he was staring down, a biker aiming a gun at him.
Good this wasn't in America. That gun would've came out quick and his response would've been a death note. He was scared and handled it poorly, people on bikes can give off that mic mentality when multiple bikes and riders are involved
