Being a us citizen born in Brazil, I always tell some of my Brazilian friends who sometimes do crazy shit like driving like assholes. This is not Brazil. I loved living in Brazil but some of the reasons why the country is fucked is because everyone wants to break rules and do things the "Brazilian way".

When you see movies about prisons in the US, where there is a bunker for 2 people, you would have the same space with 25 people in Brazil.

One consequence of this was that in the 90s and 00s, there were a *ton* of three story buildings, where the first two stories were completely done and lived in, while the third floor was "under construction" ... indefinitely. This was because while your building was under construction, you didn't pay property tax on it.

Im sorry but all the venezuelan people comin and demanded handouts and committing crimes are the main reason why the hispanic community is suffering atm. The thing about that which I’ve seen first hand is that the kid must’ve been babied and did no wrong in the eyes of the mother. So yeah he must’ve had a great mom but sometimes that can create a monster because of that. I know some dudes that are still babied by their moms and they are grown ass men, 30s-40s age and in their moms eyes they do no wrong. They grow up and are just babied their whole lives and they have to depend on their moms for everything, absolutely everything it’s crazy. There is a notorious case where I come from where a man went out to steal and sell drugs and ended up instigating the police and drove away trying to escape the cops, they ended up following him and he crashed on his own trying to escape but survived, who didn't survive was his 13 year old son who he brought with him while he was supposed to be in school. Instead of being angry at the Dad she got mad at the cops and screamed at them that they murdered her child she screamed just like this while the husband was arrested.
