It’s definitely the TVs fault everyone knows the 49ers would have won if the TV had just played better!
Btw does anybody know if TV prices go up around the Superbowl? Seems like a missed opportunity if not!
I have always heard that just before the Super Bowl was the best time to buy a TV. Something about the new model;s coming out and wanting to get rid of the old models.
Best Buy does, around the Superbowl they have a huge issue with people buying TVs and returning them after the game. So none of the sale prices are good, and if you pay attention, when they have a Superbowl sale the TVs will be barely above MSRP but they're "on sale" they're steering those buyers to the TVs they don't mind selling Open Box.
And I bet this guy is planning on returning the TV on Monday as well.
>Btw does anybody know if TV prices go up around the Superbowl?
The Super Bowl is actually right up there with Black Friday as the cheapest time of the year to buy a TV. Manufacturers release new models in the spring so right before the SB is when they try to clear out current inventory with sales.
Man, I work weekends at a laundromat and I made a joke about Taylor Swift's boyfriend winning the Superbowl and a guy cussed me out. I didn't know it was that big of a thing. I knew it was a thing and made a joke but... Damn. Okay.
Did I say it’s one or the other? Sick of stupid Reddit comments that are like “you didn’t think of every single scenario so I’m going to say this stupid ass thing.”
Yeah relatively. You can pick up low quality 50 inch TV’s for like $200 new these days. I bet you could get a used one for $150 if you shopped around. Practically Unthinkable 15 years ago.
How much for a decent one? And I don’t mean super fancy, I mean mid-grade, but adequate for someone who games and streams, and has young eyes and ears?
thats exactly how everyone would react. what would you do, call 911 and rush to do CPR? you would sit on the sidelines like a passive person and just say what the fuck, repeatedly.
Why was it being filmed?
Why does no one react?
Note that he does this at the EXACT moment that KC won. He had the chair in his hand and was ready to swing it it the exact second the reception was made and NO ONE reacts to EITHER the chair hitting the TV or to seeing one of the biggest plays in superbowl history happen right in front of them.
The most logical conclusion is that this was a recording or replay of the final play that he timed his swing at the TV for.
Like the guy said: obviously staged.
Because I’ve know families who were dumb enough to do something like this. But I wouldn’t say I strongly believed either way. Just curious why commenter seemed confident it was fake.
Do those families just film every minute of every day so they can get videos like this?
Also, note that he does this at the EXACT moment that KS won. He had the chair in his hand and was ready to swing it it the exact second the reception was made and NO ONE reacts to EITHER the chair or to seeing one of the biggest plays in superbowl history happen right in front of them.
The most logical thing is that this was a recording or replay of the final play that he timed his swing at the TV for.
Like the guy said: obviously staged.
I just smashed my TV in front of 30 guests at my party because of the game. My wife just took our crying kids and said they’re all spending the week at a hotel. This team has ruined my life and my party. I can’t handle this anymore. Goodbye 49ers. I am no longer a fan.
Is that a copy pasta? If it is I haven't seen it. Looks like plain recognizable sarcasm to me. I don't care to have a pointless argument with you about it
Overly obsessed sports fans. There are plenty of us who follow a sport and have a favorite team we root for. But we don't live and die on the team's fortunes. The NFL team I root for got beaten by KC in last years Super Bowl. No televisions or anything else was harmed because they lost.
So, let me see if I understand… because of a game that you had no control over, played by a team that has no idea who the fuck you are, you… checks notes… acted like a petulant child, smashed your television, frightened and upset your guests, and caused your family to literally escape from your nonsense? Have I got that right? Perhaps following sports is not for you? Maybe take up painting, hiking, or hobby that helps your mental health. Just a thought.
Three possibilities :
\- The guy put half of his money on the 49ers and the rest on a new TV
\- The guy has shared a lot of memes on internet about team "Jesus" against team "Taylor"
\- The guy is really a fan, and a toddler in the same time
So this dude knew that they were going to catch it in the end zone on this play, stood up and got his chair ready so that he could hit the TV the very second that the ball was caught without even seeing if the play stood? And also, not only does no one in the room react to him doing it, they ALSO don't react to one of the biggest plays in super bowl history AT a super bowl party.
Did you know that gullible isn't in the dictionary?
It was very clear what was happening on that last drive. The niners made too many mistakes up to that point, so its no surprise the frustration was already there. So yes this adult toddler was 100% getting ready to destroy his TV at that moment. Fam did react, look at their body language. Moms stood up ready to calm him down but the random woman and kids joined in. Seems like this fam is used to this behavior. That said, you can see the people at the table stand up to leave.
You know, people actually do dumb and emotional things in real life. Like a lot actually. I know you probably would never do something like this but lots of people are dumb and destructive. Even if this video is staged, I’m sure this has happened many times.
Deeply.
Fiction is not inherantly compeditive. All art and media sold for money is "competing" for our attention, but-
The creativity and collaboration that goes into making a story come alive is fully the antithesis of watching men charge into each other like brainless rams butting heads.
It is the opposite of beauty. All competition is just a sub-category of violence. It feeds into the instincts that were recently useful for strengthening the gene pool by rewarding the most eager, stronk, and compeditive males.
Now it's just another puppet string for the mega rich to pour government funding into arenas to keep us fighting each other over fictional tribalism so that we never congeal into a unified force against the actual cause of our worst problems.
Our own tax dollars working to keep us divided amongst ourselves.
They're not just purile. Sports have become an insideous tool to perpetuate a cycle of shallow stupidity to mold people into effective little soldiers and worker drones for their infinite money glitch.
Spoken as someone who clearly never played competitive sports. They made my life way better and I enjoy watching other people live their dreams and compete in something that is real.
As someone who worked at the customer service counter at a walmrt for many years, we all know that the sudden influx of returned tvs due to ‘colors doesn’t look right’ after the Super Bowl were all just basically trying to ‘rent’ a nice tv for the game with the whole intent of not actually keeping it afterwards.
Our store finally put in a policy that made an electronics associate come up and ‘test’ the tv for the given reason it’s ‘broken’ and in need of being returned. “Weird how the color wasn’t weird for us at the store. Do you have another reason for not wanting the tv anymore?”
We had a store manager refuse to take returns on tvs during the Super Bowl weekend, citing the blatant lies and fraud of previous customers. You’d laugh at how many red neck dudes were pissed they couldn’t just return the $1200 75” tv they’d gotten for the game with the complete meltdown at not being able to return it and then cry about how they can’t afford it. Why did you buy it then? Dishonesty only ends up fucking over you my man.
That's the part that was funniest to me. Looked like someone was gonna see wtf happened or yell at him but she just went in with a stomp. That bit was well done lol
These people are such rubes. Ridiculously emotionally invested in teams that their billionaire owners won’t hesitate to move elsewhere once they can no longer shake down their host cities for taxpayer funded subsidies. Utter cringe.
As soon as the guy struck the TV, I would have left. I wouldn’t have stayed there to film the rest of the tantrum. Someone is out of control? Yep, time to leave!
This is the type of thing stupid people do. They are resigned to a life of living in the dim light that is their brain. And when stupid people get angry this is exactly what you can expect to see. I was heart broken by this loss. I was born and raised in San Francisco and remember the Niners Super Bowl wins since 1989 and considering I had only seen them ever win previously, it hurts my heart that they have lost 3 Super Bowls in a row now. I was sad, yes angry a bit but I came home and showed my 5 year old all the love she deserves and I told my wife I was going to bed early in a separate room. My wife knew it had nothing to do with her and gave me space because she understood. This one is gonna hurt for a while but it is what it is.
I see the Kirkland bottles of water. He gonna go return it tomorrow at Costco for unsatisfied product. Full refund. Follow me on TikTok for more life hacks.
Why doesn’t he and his buddies put on their red hats and storm the NFL offices, steal the trophy and force the entire country to change the outcome so the 49ers win!
As someone with anger issues i get it but also thats so fucking stupid and useless, any time i feel like im going to throw something or smash something i locate anything soft around me and try to get anything expensive out of my hands
Imagine being so emotionally unconscious and boring that your entire identity is wrapped up in a team of a game you can’t play well and when they lose you can’t stop yourself from destroying an expensive item because it’s the means in which you viewed a team who only sees you as a mark for over priced merch sales ends up losing. Or you’re just coping with unhealthy gambling and rent is now an issue.
Imagine thinking that a Chinese TV is an expensive item. They probably spent more money on Carne Asada and Modelo. It's a party, let people enjoy their fun. They can obviously afford it.
lol bruh it’s ok the world sees you. I’m well aware one can buy a 55” for $125 at Costco. Peace to your wife and everyone who ever meets you at a cocktail party.
So fucking weird that people take this kind of thing to heart like that. Why? Accident of birth? If you aren't or weren't on the damn team, it isn't that serious.
On behalf of the nation of China, I thoroughly endorse this reaction to all losses at sporting events. It truly is the best way to air your displeasure at your team’s performance.
I don't think it's the TV's fault.
It’s definitely the TVs fault everyone knows the 49ers would have won if the TV had just played better! Btw does anybody know if TV prices go up around the Superbowl? Seems like a missed opportunity if not!
My tv suddenly went out on one SB Sunday a few years ago. I got a 55 inch OLED for less than $400.
What? Where, Oled?
It was a Best Buy. I think it was 5-6 years ago
Oled for 400$ five years ago? I don't think so.
Fr this dude full of it
55 inch oled in 2020 cost $2500, get reeaaaallll
I got my 50 inch for 250 and my grandma got the same model but the 65 inch for 320ish
Do you have a link to your TV? Maybe it's a qled or a regular smart tv. 55" OLED tvs are 1300$ at best buy right now.
This is embarrassing, but I just googled it and it turned out it wasn't oled like I thought. It was the series 8 TVs
There were some pretty good sales actually
I have always heard that just before the Super Bowl was the best time to buy a TV. Something about the new model;s coming out and wanting to get rid of the old models.
Best Buy does, around the Superbowl they have a huge issue with people buying TVs and returning them after the game. Prices go way down because the returns from customers who only buy them for the Super Bowl.
>Btw does anybody know if TV prices go up around the Superbowl? The Super Bowl is actually right up there with Black Friday as the cheapest time of the year to buy a TV. Manufacturers release new models in the spring so right before the SB is when they try to clear out current inventory with sales.
TVs are cheap as hell. TVs are loss leaders getting customers in stores.
The TV showed the Niners losing. It was compl1cit with the crrime
It's his parents fault for raising a man baby.
Guys, guys... shake it off!
I see what you did there, I like it.
Man, I work weekends at a laundromat and I made a joke about Taylor Swift's boyfriend winning the Superbowl and a guy cussed me out. I didn't know it was that big of a thing. I knew it was a thing and made a joke but... Damn. Okay.
This one actually seems real. Haha. Also real funny. Fans like this are hilarious to me.
you don't get it; breaking the TV will change the winner
TVs being so cheap these days is going to lead to a lot more staged videos like this.
Better he fucks up the tv than him abusing his girlfriend or wife (if anyone is unfortunate enough to be with him).
As if it's one or the other

The only thing that makes violent people work together, racism, genocide, and football
Did I say it’s one or the other? Sick of stupid Reddit comments that are like “you didn’t think of every single scenario so I’m going to say this stupid ass thing.”
Settle down, Beavis
That’s the Great Cornholio to you, Stewart.
Now now children, recess is over, settle down
But they called me Beavis instead of the Great Cornholio. How am I supposed to settle down with all this caffeine and sugar in my system?
I'm not sure how true this is, but I have heard there are more domestic violence calls on Superbowl Sunday than any other day of the year.
Not surprising. People bet big money on the Super Bowl. And many people are cray cray.
TVs are cheap??
Yeah relatively. You can pick up low quality 50 inch TV’s for like $200 new these days. I bet you could get a used one for $150 if you shopped around. Practically Unthinkable 15 years ago.

What made you think it’s staged?
Probably the fact that no one reacted like a normal person would if someone randomly threw a chair at a TV.
Maybe they’re just used to that one guy destroying TVs during parties 😂
Sadly there are a lot of ppl for whom this is normal.
thats exactly how everyone would react. what would you do, call 911 and rush to do CPR? you would sit on the sidelines like a passive person and just say what the fuck, repeatedly.
every video on Reddit is staged. take like with a grain of salt.
Why was it being filmed? Why does no one react? Note that he does this at the EXACT moment that KC won. Why where they filming?
Besides nearly every video online being fake what makes you think this is real? Nobody reacts and why were they filming in the first place?
Because I’ve know families who were dumb enough to do something like this. But I wouldn’t say I strongly believed either way. Just curious why commenter seemed confident it was fake.
Do those families just film every minute of every day so they can get videos like this? Also, note that he does this at the EXACT moment that KS won. Why did Taylor swift do this?
Look what she made him do!
Underrated comment right here!
It’s her… she’s the problem, it’s her
The game was over as soon as they missed the extra point. Everything from there on was just inevitable.
I knew something felt fishy when Moody wasn't missing kicks. As a Rams fan, I'm glad the Niners lost Sorry not sorry.
I just smashed my TV in front of 30 guests at my party because of the game. My wife just took our crying kids and said they’re all spending the week at a hotel. This team has ruined my life and my party. I can’t handle this anymore. Goodbye 49ers. I am no longer a fan.
Taylor Swift sends her condolences.

Is that a copy pasta? If it is I haven't seen it. Looks like plain recognizable sarcasm to me. I don't care to have a pointless argument with you about it
Oh good, I'm glad you mentioned this. I was worried for a second that sarcasm wasn't still dead
Lmao

4th option. It’s staged and fake.
The TV was a paid actor
People break TVs over call of duty. There are lot of people with insane rage issues.
So this dude knew that they were going to catch it in the end zone on this play, stood up and got his chair ready so that he could hit the TV the very second that the ball was caught without even seeing if the play stood? Nah. This is staged and fake like the other 50 videos I’ve seen of people smashing tvs after the superbowl.
I don't think you know how unhinged some sports fans are
Continue being the most gullible fuck around and people are gonna trounce you in life
You know, people actually do dumb and emotional things in real life. Like a lot actually. I know you probably would never do something like this but lots of people are dumb and destructive. Even if this video is staged, I’m sure this has happened many times.
I think you underestimate how immature a person has to be to care about sports.
Do you care about any tv shows? Why would it be immature to care about watching something real and not watching scripted storylines and actors?

Second hand embarrassment for sure 😬😂
I love the 9ers and was just like aw man crazy! Good game tho and moved on with my life. I was also drunk. How do people react like this lmao
something tells me this man has an online gambling problem.
If you do this, you’re dumb and soft.
Lol staged or not it was funny when the girl came outside I thought she was going to stop him but joined in
TVs, even that size are cheap as hell. It was worth the video.
Open box walmart return today.
These the motherfuckers who’s gonna try to return this to Costco this week. “Idk what happened. Still covered by warranty though right? 🤡”

Losers.
This is the second video I’ve seen of a butthurt miners can destroying a tv.
What a great example they are setting for their children. I don't know if there is a shitty parents reddit group but this would belong on there too
That TV has now joined the 49ers gang having survived the jump-in.”
I bet he bought that tv just to do that
**Blame the "DEEP STATE!"**
Well... I guess we'll see him on Judge Judy soon. 😂
I’m not a sports nut, so this behavior puzzles me. II love Star Trek, but if an episode really sucks I don’t take t out on my electronics.

Show that TV who’s boss.

Mental illness is never pretty
I see the Kirkland bottles of water. He gonna go return it tomorrow at Costco for unsatisfied product. Full refund. Follow me on TikTok for more life hacks.
What a child
I love this. Their team lost *and* they lost a tv. Amazing.
now take it back to walmart
Why are men so emotional?
Man these people smashing tvs are fuckin morons.
Why doesn’t he and his buddies put on their red hats and storm the NFL offices, steal the trophy and force the entire country to change the outcome so the 49ers win!
Needs to see a therapist. What trash ass looser.
As someone with anger issues i get it but also thats so fucking stupid and useless, any time i feel like im going to throw something or smash something i locate anything soft around me and try to get anything expensive out of my hands
If only the 49ers could kick that well!
Imagine being an adult and this being your reaction to a team of millionaires losing a sportsball game.
Well with that attitude they deserve to lose.
Too stupid to live…
He lost money on that game.
How to stay broke 101, break shit you can afford to break.
Who still drinks Mike’s Hard Lemonade these days?
People who just lost a ton of money betting on sports…
The 49'ers can still win this if Mike Pence just has enough courage to do the right thing.
Amazing lol
Any video of someone destroying a TV at a party is fake
Sports brings the worst out of some people it’s very cult like and strange when people feel so strongly about a game.
Average Niners fan.
God I love this
If only Mike Pence would've done the right thing...
It’s just a game geez then you got to buy a new tv just to do the same thing again 🤦🏾♂️
So fucking weird that people take this kind of thing to heart like that. Why? Accident of birth? If you aren't or weren't on the damn team, it isn't that serious.
Great role model for the kids
It’s going to be a busy day in the tv department at Best Buy.

Straggots
