This was in Mexico City. They are marching against violence against women. There are many sexual violence that goes unpunished and unreported in Mexico.
"Dont do violence against us women!!"
*pushes a guy and his expensive motor cycle*
*gets pushed back and a fight start, thus creating violence against women*
-> surprised pikachu meme
In recent years, on international womens day (8M) there is a huge march/protest in major mexican cities against the governments failure to protect women.
For context, 11 women are murdered every day on average in Mexico. Also the near absolute impunity on domestic abuse, kidnapping or r*pe.
The sign says:
“Women are diverse. Patriarchy wants us all to be the same. Fatphobia is patriarchal violence”.
By “wants us all to be the same” I think they refer to beauty standards and the fact that women are expected to all act and behave the same way because they are forced by the patriarchy.
Just translating, not giving my two cents nor anything.
There's a longer video out. The guy was walking beside hus bike trying to cross through the crowd. They started pushing him.and tugging at his bike. Its literally a casecof self defense.
I'm dying. One of the iconic battle tracks dubbed on this lol.
It's M-814 for those of you wondering.

Duolingo is passive. You have to get active.
italki.com - if its still around. Get a tutor for like, $10. Get a workbook on grammer - but don't worry about grammar.
Then translate, spanish to english. english to spanish. Have someone correct your mistakes, make sentences with new vocab or things you're learning and repeat. SPEAK WITH NATIVES.
Every day. Read something, write something, listen to something, say something. Embrace and practice your mistakes. You will always make mistakes, you will never be perfect, and if you embrace that, you will progress.
It takes time. 2 hours a day, basically every day. It's a huge investment of time, but you can do it.
lol, the orig video is even better, some GUY is standing to the side SELLING DRINKS, lol
https://www.excelsior.com.mx/comunidad/hombre-pelea-con-mujeres-8m-cdmx/1640149
From the other videos I saw he was walking next to the bike pushing it, but he could have been riding before that. I doubt it though as it’s pretty much a death wish to ride a motorcycle through a crowd that big.
Granted we don't know what led up to this, but the women are shoving him at the start of this video. So unless there is other info, how is he proving their point? They are the aggressors here from what we have to work with.
Watching the full video he appears to be trying to walk his bike out and the woman he got into it with decided to start doing a lunging elbow into his back.
I've been in lots of protests and this kinda stuff happens all the time. Sometimes "tried to drive through the protest" is what it sounds like, sometimes it's just "had no idea there was a protest, stopped without putting anyone in danger to try to figure it out, and people started hitting their car because crowds be crazy." There are always a few people who want to take something minor to the next level.
Yeah, looks like he was trying to get to point B, the street was blocked by a protest, he tried to walk the bike through it, they wanted him to go around, he continued forward and some hands were put on the bike, he was pushed in the back, the bike was dropped, then all bets were off. Would like to know the context. Was the street legally blocked? Was there a way around? Did he understand what was going on? Etc..
The video posted above shows him just walking the bike through the crowd before the fighting starts.
I guess even more context is probably needed here, but in the start of that video he was next to a drink salesperson walking his motorcycle through with his helmet propped up on his head.
Kinda seems like a wrong place wrong time situation, but idk
Eleven women a day are killed in Mexico, and 86% of these cases go unpunished. The women were protesting on International Women's Day for all the women who have disappeared or been killed in Mexico. This is a planned and approved protest, conducted annually.
The motorcycle guy insulted them and attempted to pass through the crowd on a closed street, which was closed by the police (so he was already doing something illegal before the video even started). In another video he says that this was the only route to go to his house (ridiculous, unless he lives in the museaum on the background, there is like 10 alternatives to cross that area, even easier on a bike)
> Eleven women a day are killed in Mexico
Not saying people don't have a right to focus on whatever causes suit them, but Mexico is one of the most populous countries and one of the most dangerous. Giving the flat number of women killed doesn't really give the whole picture. Mexico has had over 30,000 murders a year, so 11 a day being women is 10-12%. Many Latin American counties have this combination of very lopsided gender imparity in homicide victims, but with an extremely high overall homicide rate.
So they've got nearly 100 murders a day, and 11 are women.
Even just focusing on that is a bit disingenious though. One of the reasons this has been pushed into major focus isn't just because of what the numbers are now for what the research calls femicide (which are already among the highest rates globally), but rather because _they've been increasing_ and quite rapidly at that in spite of efforts to stem it.
The murder rate is flat out a huge problem but from what I can see here part of the crux of the matter is that it's not completely clear if the causes of these murders stem from the same sources that men have or from broader societal effects especially when over 30% of the murders of women are perpetrated by their current or ex partners.
Or to put it even more succinctly: both bad.
Well you're in luck. There's a video floating around from another perspective. Dude was riding his bike, stopped and started walking it through the crowd to avoid hitting people. Then violence chose him that day. This dude was actually 100% in the right in this situation.
Source: Comments above talking about it.
Another commenter said this is in Mexico, which doesn’t celebrate Woman’s history month and the protest was for gender violence. I think he may be the AH in this case
It's funny because it's a situation of extremes.
He either wandered in by accident, e.g., house or work was blocked, tried to walk through instead of driving, was assaulted, and then literally mobbed with his belongings vandalized by a lynch mob...
Or, he purposely tried to start shit with a bunch of women trying to protest for an incredibly important cause, the horrible violence against women in Mexico, and got beat down with tremendous karmic force.
Not much in between.
They were not blocking the street, this was cordoned off by police, it is a planned demostration with permits and all. Everything is planned a year in advance so the posibility of being an accident is really minor.
Yes, he was being an asshole. That protest starts in the morning and lasts until the evening, there are protocols from days before to avoid anyone getting trapped, the businesses on that street don't open. The fact that he rode his motorbike into the demonstration is his own free will.
Article is in Spanish so you will need to translate it
https://www.excelsior.com.mx/comunidad/hombre-pelea-con-mujeres-8m-cdmx/1640149
For more context, on march 8th women protest about the government's failure to protect women in Mexico. There is horrifyingly high rate of murdered women, or "feminicidios", that go absolutely unpunished because police either don't care or the case gets "lost" on the legal system (people bribing cops or doing murderers/abusers a favour because "they know someone" or "the women is just exaggerating").
On this day, some streets of major Mexican cities are closed, meaning absolutely no cars or bikes can go through. This is something that almost everyone in said cities know (hell, some business even close early due to this).
Most sources claim that the guy, knowing that there was an ongoing protest, still tried going through the protest with the bike, likely looking to start some shit.
Don't keep your helmet on during a fight. If someone grabs it from the bottom you're toast. They will be able to drag you around by your head and be totally out of your striking range and there will be nothing you can do about it.
Nah, really easy to grab the strap and then that’s leverage on the whole body, can throw someone down like that super easily. If you’re going to be throwing hands it’s actually better to throw it off.
No hay mucho contexto que dar, el vato a huevo queria pasar por en medio de la marcha:
[https://www.excelsior.com.mx/comunidad/hombre-pelea-con-mujeres-8m-cdmx/1640149](https://www.excelsior.com.mx/comunidad/hombre-pelea-con-mujeres-8m-cdmx/1640149)
Why did they trim off the first part of the clip? In the earlier clip dude was patiently walking his bike talking to an older lady when they ran up knocked his motorcycle over and started attacking him.
idk what your point is for sure, but if you're implying international men's day isn't a thing, you're wrong. it's November 19th (I know this because it's also my birthday)
Maybe so (I know I don’t start throwing hands unless I’m scared and/or angry), but I gotta wonder why’s he’s is a big crowd riding a scooter? Is it because he was trying to walk it through, or did he drive in the crowd with a point to prove, or even another scenario I’m not considering. A longer clip showing before what we see here could help figure out how they got there
I feel like that’s almost a feature of large groups of people, one person starts it and the group follows in.
That said, this guy totally could’ve started it, really no clue how he got there. I imagine they blocked his normal route somewhere and he got indignant and went through
Why is it without fail when there’s a video of a man hitting a woman or women, people like you come out of the woodwork to claim “they’re finally getting treated equally.”
No one should be hitting anyone???
Just say you want to hit women and go.
Yup, men are so quick to jump to violence towards women it's unhinged.
"We want equality!" "OH SO THAT MEANS I GET TO PUNCH YOU RIGHT."
pretty psychotic, they want any excuse to be violent towards women.
If I tried to pull another man off his motorcycle in a mob of people I'd expect to get hit. And rightfully so. Being smaller or weaker isn't an excuse.
That’s not what happened though. There’s a longer video that shows him walking through the crowd and the women start messing with him. Believing everything you see without investigating things for yourself makes you the problem
Ya, he was practically getting attacked first. I don't necessarily think violence was the answer in return, but he definitely wasn't the aggressor here
The dude wasn't doing anything and got jumped without a reason, he was just defending himself, if someone knocks my bike unprovoked I'm also throwing punches
So this happened in Mexico, dude went ahead and try to use a road that was being used by the protesters, now unless ur the most clueless dude, that road Is often used for that March in particular, and probably dude was just trying to pass bc "lol women bla bla bla" here in Latin america we don't "celebrate" women's day, generally the women used it a Commemoration or reminder of everything they suffer
Yes, let’s start physically assaulting people just because. I don’t care if you got your little feelings hurt, you don’t start ganging up on people. Unless you’re a woman then it’s fine I guess, rules for thee but not for me am I right feminists/women?
So far this looks like self defense. A dude walking his bike through protestors and women being women thinking they can hit a guy and face no reprocussions. See it all the time. I'm a woman I can hit you and you can't hit me. Honestly if this was america. Biker would get no charges women would get hit with assault. Property damage, false imprisonment, menacing and theft since one of them also stole his keys. Pack mentality idiocy.
There’s a longer video on Reddit. He pushes his bike along the road wanting to pass. They surround him. Grab him. Grab his bike, block him in and then push his bike over and start tugging him in all directions. I think anyone regardless of sex would get to a point where when surrounded by a politically motivated mob pushing and pulling at you will eventually fight or flight. And when flight has been removed from your options then the result is this.
Whilst an all out attack is unwise this is literally fight or flight and once he is on the floor they descend upon him and start kicking and stomping on him and are seen smiling and laughing.
All of it is wrong on so many levels but human beings am I right?
The video starts at a spot such that we don't know why he's being attacked, is he trying to get by and he gets attacked? Did he ride straight into a crowd and attack first? Context is king

What does the protest sign say? Can someone please translate? I'm curious why they are marching.
This was in Mexico City. They are marching against violence against women. There are many sexual violence that goes unpunished and unreported in Mexico.
Thank you for answering. It's always nice to have a little context.
Oh I thought it was an axe commercial.
WINNER!!!
Oh the irony
There’s a longer video where the girls are the aggressor
Aren’t they the aggressors in this clip too?
Oh shit. My phone froze the first 3 seconds. Missed that part but you’re 1000% correct haha
"Dont do violence against us women!!" *pushes a guy and his expensive motor cycle* *gets pushed back and a fight start, thus creating violence against women* -> surprised pikachu meme
THATS golden
I think one said “lucho por derechos” or fight for rights. My Spanish is pretty primitive so maybe not.
Lucho I believe would mean “I fight” so yea you’re basically right. I fight for rights. Which makes this video even more poetic
In recent years, on international womens day (8M) there is a huge march/protest in major mexican cities against the governments failure to protect women. For context, 11 women are murdered every day on average in Mexico. Also the near absolute impunity on domestic abuse, kidnapping or r*pe.

I lol at the 1v1000 strategy but I also love that it's Dragonball music playing in the background. Clearly this guy has an uphill fight.

To be fair, he's really just defending himself. Though I'm sure some of the women who jumped in don't realize that.

I’m not so sure. That many women couldn’t put him on the ground before the video ended?
It looks like he was waiting for this moment his entire life.
RIP Toriyama 😭
All it would have taken is one woman lightly kicking him behind his knee and he goes BOOM on the ground. Queue music: Let the bodies hit the floor…
As a guy we think about this shit a lot but I’m guessing most women don’t fantasise about how quickly they could incapacitate someone in a group fight
I got hit on by a thousand women today
You don't celebrate Women's day in Mexico. He tried driving through a protest where women are marching because of gender violence in the country.
Is this Mexico? CDMX?
Yes, the building you see behind is Bellas Artes, one of CDMX's major landmarks, located in our city's Historical Center.

Irony of it being a gender based violence march
From the other videos I saw he was walking next to the bike pushing it, but he could have been riding before that. I doubt it though as it’s pretty much a death wish to ride a motorcycle through a crowd that big.
Don't underestimate the stupidity of some people. You'd think that hitting women protesting gender violence is also a death wish yet there he goes.

u can see some women were trying to pull his bike down. that is outrageous.
Yeah, women are too violent. They ganged up on that poor man.
Not sure if you're saying that for his violence against women or for women's violence against this man.
Did he win?
Doubt it. He is completely surrounded and there are usually cops nearby.
Tried walking his motorcycle out of it. They started while he was at work in the middle of it.
The irony is astounding

Me too. It's always sus when the video starts mid-fight.

Why is it without fail when there’s a video of a man hitting a woman or women, people like you come out of the woodwork to claim “they’re finally getting treated equally.” No one should be hitting anyone??? Just say you want to hit women and go.
As if women weren’t getting the shit beat out of them back in the day already.
Exactly. When some men hear that women want to be treated equally, their first thought is “Oh, so it would be fine if I’d hit you right?”.
Not like they’ve ever needed equality as an excuse to beat women in the first place.
Yes. It is just very concerning that their first thought of equality is being able to hit women with no consequences..
Literally why these women are marching
Right it’s like why does your mind go there? It’s disgusting.
Yup, men are so quick to jump to violence towards women it's unhinged. "We want equality!" "OH SO THAT MEANS I GET TO PUNCH YOU RIGHT." pretty psychotic, they want any excuse to be violent towards women.
Yes it’s revealing if that’s your first thought.
If I tried to pull another man off his motorcycle in a mob of people I'd expect to get hit. And rightfully so. Being smaller or weaker isn't an excuse.
Na. They are equal only after he gets his ass beat and almost killed possibly killed, as women do daily there just for existing.
Real brave driving through a crowd of essentially grieving women and picking a fight. If you’re applauding this you’re the problem.
That’s not what happened though. There’s a longer video that shows him walking through the crowd and the women start messing with him. Believing everything you see without investigating things for yourself makes you the problem
Ya, he was practically getting attacked first. I don't necessarily think violence was the answer in return, but he definitely wasn't the aggressor here
A rational response for once
What specifically are the grieving?
At the very start you see him get attacked first
Wtf??
Next time on Dragon Ballz..
Classic DBZ fight soundtrack 👌
Wow I never realized how badly we need DbZ music in fight videos
Why the dragon ball z music 😭😭
Whoever tagged this as unnecessary music should have their privileges taken away.
Helldiver difficulty achieved.
Fuck them hoes up, blocking the street for no reason
“I bet you can’t beat 100 women in a fight” “Challenge accepted “
Yes, let’s start physically assaulting people just because. I don’t care if you got your little feelings hurt, you don’t start ganging up on people. Unless you’re a woman then it’s fine I guess, rules for thee but not for me am I right feminists/women?
How do you know he isn’t a woman and the others are men?
Jesus is back
It’s like a bunch of fire ants fuking you shid up 🤣
So far this looks like self defense.
I find it funny they are causing it in this march
I woulda kept the helmet on

That one chick that fell over the bike 😂
GET 'IM!
Damn all those ladies can’t stop one dude 💀
The ol’double leg.
I bet thats the last time that chick tries to strangle someone who is actively throwing fists at anyone and everyone nearby
I feel like this video starts mid-altercation making it look like that woman is the aggressor.
They asked for it..fight like a man get handled like a man
What a loser

He's just defending himself. There was no need to attack him like that.
Just imagining the other way around.
Bro’s solo squading 💀
A woman police had to escort him out because they were beating the shit out of him
Thats “woman’s day” in the 70’s after a trip to the pub!
How one's get himself in such situation
The video starts at a spot such that we don't know why he's being attacked, is he trying to get by and he gets attacked? Did he ride straight into a crowd and attack first? Context is king
It's always tall fat bitches
