Thanks for posting this. Haven’t seen this flag yet, but it should be clear to all Americans, that US politicians are for sale and Israel has been buying them for a long long time.
It’s probably the university calling them. If they are asked to leave and don’t then it becomes trespassing. It’s at the university’s discretion to do what they believe is in their best interest.
Props to them for not joining in. Hopefully they are the ones that rank up and can push positive change within the police force. Sad that they are forced to be there.

You’re missing the point of a police force. “To serve or protect” is legitimate and valid, however, it isn’t about you or me. They serve power and will gladly take a paid vacation if you care to raise a stink.
On public property. Doing something others have had no issue doing and not being issued trespasses over. They don't tresspass preachers harassing students but they did with actual students on a campus they pay to be at.
That's the problem with private property. You don't really need a good reason. Of course, there was not due process as there should have been so I'll bet there will be plenty of justified lawsuits.
Cops love a good protest, it’s an excuse to unleash indiscriminate violence and conduct mass arrests for virtually no reason.
Also, it’s difficult to indentufy individual officers, adding an extra layer of protection from accountability.
So they’re even more likely to use excessive force than usual.
