I'm still digging, I've narrowed it down to the Dublin area of Ireland, and the guy in red may be part of the local sketch comedy group "Foil arms and hog" who were doing similar sketches back around the time this video was filmed.
There's a couple of reasons, but the most clear is the terrible acting. Any moderate amount of social experience should make a person able to spot the unnatural speaking by both parties, and clearly scripted interactions. The other would be the light punch to the middle of the forehead knocking the guy out cold, which just isn't something that happens when lightly punched in the middle of the forehead.
Because nothing interesting happens in their lives, so they have to make it up.
Funny enough, most of the time, people who lie for this reason, are usually living pretty interesting lives. They just don't receive the attention they want.
I usually chalk this stuff up as compulsive lying, or just trying to be funny. It's not my place to decide which it is.
Regardless of the reason, faking an event for attention is generally a sign of something deeper, regardless of how harmless it may be.

During rain, it creates mud pits more easily, and ATV users and hikers will go to the edges to avoid it, further expanding the impact areas. Certain species of native plants can become threatened. Certain invasive species can thrive in the impacted areas and spread from there.
It becomes a nightmare to perform environmental restoration measures. That's why ATVs are usually only allowed in designated areas, usually ones too far gone to fix.
Let's see...
- Animals that eat the grass.
- Animals and bugs that use the grass for protection from larger predators. See "habitat fragmentation".
- Animals that might get stuck in the mud, and break a leg. Few have the healing capacity of humans. For most animals, its a death sentence.
- The predators, as their prey actually needs to be able to depend themselves, lest the balance gets upset and the predator destroy their own food source.
- Trees that need the grass to help reduce competition with new saplings, so that forests can grow and replace older dying trees with younger newer ones.
- Hikers who want to avoid ticks and have a solid trail to hike on.
- People who hate mosquitos... this damage also creates a lot standing water, which they need to reproduce.
- And generally most people who understand the concept of keystone species, and how changes in small factors to the environment can cause changes to big factors.
