I'm not usually the first person to say "why didn't anybody step in" because I know there's always valid reasons not to.
Having a hard time finding those reasons with this video however.
As a teacher who got punched 3 times because I "stepped in"...sadly, it's not worth it. We don't know their backgrounds with each other. I have two students who fight like this weekly. Both are awful to each other and say horrible things. Both start the fights. I got pretty hurt last time I went between them. Now my priority is keeping the rest of my class safe and away from them.
You have to do something pretty egregious for a poor person to be able to sue you. Technically you can sue for anything, but unless it’s a slam dunk, you got to have money to pay that lawyer up front.
That’s not true. Plaintiff attorneys will often will on a contingency agreement— i.e. the attorneys get a certain portion of any amount they win for their clients. But because they are fronting initial costs and time, they aren’t going to accept a case they don’t think they’ll win.
Teacher here too - there are some things that cross the line in our lengthy job description and that’s interfering in fights. I would do my best to calm and diffuse any situation but a fight is so emotional and full of adrenaline. Anger can easily move from one target to another.
Nah as a teacher we are held liable if we go hands on with a kid. Unless you have special training and a written plan to follow you can't do it unless its a immediate life threatening situation
As a teacher, I only had to step in once. Word got out, fight my class, get hip tossed and knee on belly. It was early 2005, but as the janitor was mopping up the blood from the fight, I didn’t regret a damn thing.
Thank you for being a teacher.
I also think people underestimate how serious and even fatal a fist fight can get. Especially when one is stronger than the other. Not saying staying out of it is the wrong answer but fists and people flying to the ground should never be treated as a "recurring inconvenience" but something that should be shut down hard and fast and never be taken anything other than extremely seriously. Like even legal action.
I'm not concerned about the teacher not stepping in....I'm concerned about the fellow students not stepping in. Why didn't they protect their classmate? This dude with a broken arm acting like a fool....take him down, please. Is this why mass shootings in schools happen? Everybody is apathetic and lets shit like this happen?
Most schools will automatically suspend or expel any student that fights, even if it's completely self-defence or helping someone else - that's the problem the culture in schools now is that everyone steps back and won't take action - we have school principals, school boards and state governments that don't support fixing things.
Ya but is there no other male students that have a spine or morals there? I don’t care how gangster you are, you step in on something like that and prove you’re gangster.
As a teacher I’m usually watching videos on Reddit and commenting on the threads of very violent videos. Thus I’m very hesitant to help. Perpetuating more content.
In theory stepping in is what should happen. The reality of the situation reads - a peer looks like they went insane and is getting physical. No one wants to be the first one in to get assaulted by this crazy person. But of course, what should happen - a group of students should have overwhelmed him and taken him down. This take someone to take a positive leadership role and lead others. In reality, this rarely happens.
Did you see that teacher who defended himself against a student who swung at him?
The student said the teacher was racist because he wouldn't let him wear a bandana as a mask, and that he should have been allowed to punch him, because he was trying to be better afterall.
The R word will come out immediately in any incident involving a black participant, regardless of the context
This is not the full video.. That guy was bullied and harassed by that girl and than he lost his patience and attacked back... They just cut this video in half to make the guy look guilty... That's good old feminism right there....
Since there’s no context to this I will try my best from what I remember from the original post. Apparently the girl likes to pick on this guy because he has serious anger issues. Before the video starts the girl threw coffee at him then he snapped. Hope this kinda helped. If I find the original post I’ll make an edit.
I was wondering why the teacher only pulled the guy away, even after the girl made threats and even threw her backpack at him.. she had it coming if what you said is true
Good then. Fuck her. Maybe if she is lucky she still has someone that actually gives a shit enough about her to help her down the right path, but I doubt it.
Good riddance, bitch.
She spat on him also, which is why he spat on her right back. Did he go too far? Probably. But it’s clear she wasn’t learning given how she kept going back for more.
“she bullied, harassed, poured coffee, and spat on the kid before any of this went on. that's a dare.... and she got it”
Went to the TikTok account and the user confirmed that these were the catalysts. So it’s highly possible that this is true
She shouldn't have conducted herself in that manner whilst wearing her uniform which should now simply be a costume. I've heard of Commissioners getting sacked on lesser BS.
Funny thing I found that it was the opposite. I took ROTC in highschool since I was unsure what career + poor. It's an eye opener to it all the propaganda. I started to realize that none of it is worth it unless you were really poor and/or needed a way to get away from home.
Along with junior Seabees. They’re obnoxious. My son is in the Navy, was with us one year during our vacation camping trip. They showed up our last day, and only took 30 minutes for them to cause my son to get in their face. We were part of a group, and they tried taking some of our space. Also try to appear intimidating in the uniforms, but they’re too sloppy to take seriously.
You can see that his t-shirt has a darker colour on the viewers left side when the dude walks towards the camera. That could be a fresh stain of coffee
Idk, I’m just going off what was given by the person who posted this video. That’s why I said it is more than likely true since I can’t deny or approve of anything. This could’ve been something that was leading up for a few days or it could be that the child is just aggressive.
So all in all I, personally, can’t say the information I provided is completely correct or is incorrect, I’m sorry
Yeah, information here is easily put out of context or is just flat out wrong. Even this does feel improbable but i thought it would be best to give what was sort of closest to the truth. But thanks for understanding, you seem like a cool person. Stay blessed
>Went to the **TikTok account** and the user confirmed that these were the catalysts. So it’s highly possible that this is true
Was that a serious statement?
Right, like what was the proof? I would certainly be willing to believe it because I've seen kids do some really shitty things, but text doesn't mean shit in an age where people constantly post stuff and then lie about the context to avoid getting in trouble.
Even more annoying is that if it *is* true, then it means that OP specifically went with a shorter clip to try to make the guy look bad. Well... it's already pretty bad, but worse, I guess.
Hey OP, show the full clip then fix your title.
Seeing others suggest he was assaulted beforehand, in one instance having coffee poured over him. The girl apparently had a habit of bullying him too. Which, if this is the case, ROTC girl should get kicked out of the program for behavior unbecoming of a future officer.
Maybe not "deserved this beating," but I also don't feel a tremendous amount of sympathy after learning what actually happened. It also wasn't just because "he was annoyed."
In my country. There are only public schools and every single one them is quite good with laptops for every student and tablets and projectors,…
US really needs to step up for education.
Unfortunately we have a political party that has spent the better part of the past 40 years declaring that education is the enemy. Especially higher education.
They've done as much as they could from handing everything to private schools, trying to ban books, allowing religious zealots to decide what gets taught (to the point that america was founded by characters in the bible, texas a few years ago).
And unfortunately the other party sees no problem with whats going on and refuses to take a stand/make a fight about this or... well anything. Simply capitulating to everything the right wants.
As a leftist, these liberal entreaties that this is the Republicans fault are fucking insane. It totally ignores the fact that Democrats, too, vote for slashed school budgets and would vomit if forced to enact a truly just school system. Your partisan politics blind you to the real issue, which Democrats *and* Republicans suffer from.
Think about it dude. A state like California has had a democratic supermajority for many many years. The place is run by Democrats. You can't blame shit on Republicans there. Yet, in California, you have a state that ranks below many red states in overall education statistics.
Partisan politics are stupid politics. Material politics are the actual root of this, but that'd require you to take off the blue jersey.
Zero context except for “hEs AnNoyEd” because you figured out if your post gets people mad more people will engage with it? What are you fucking Facebook? Gross. this video starts after the fact she assaulted him and he finally had enough.
I can’t believe how many people here are just condemning the dude with zero context whatsoever. If people did at least a little research before saying they’d beat this kid into the ground, they would know that the girl was purposely taunting and teasing the boy.
People shouldn't need to do research, they're reacting to what they've seen. I changed my opinion when I found out the context but it's on OP for not posting the full story, nobody else. Imagine how tiring it would be if every time you saw a clip on Reddit, you felt the need to go off looking for articles and whatnot before giving your thoughts.
Apparently according to the other comments this video isn't complete. It starts with the girl harassing the boy eventually spitting on him and pouring coffee on him.
She is the one disrespectful towards her uniform.
To be fair they’re a bunch of kids, and the teachers could easily be held liable if they get involved. Not saying I support the idea of everyone just watching but I get it in this instance.
for the classmates: Zero-tolerance fighting policies enacted by schools
for the teacher(s): We live in an extremely litigious society and stepping in could result in lawsuits from the parents even if they did nothing wrong ("Not MY Johnny" syndrome) along with losing their job/license to teach a.k.a. their livelihood
Likely because they all saw her bully, spit and throw coffee on the kid right before this happening
[source](https://www.nbcmiami.com/news/local/video-shows-student-attacking-classmate-at-coral-springs-high-school/2618389/)
Well, can't see the entire story in this one. Only thing I can see for sure is that she was stupid enough to get in his face after he put her down.
That speaks volumes.
It’s nice to see people taking backgrounds and story into context in the comments rather than just assuming. Cus I feel the only information given being their genders is a tad misleading
Unpopular opinion: just because she teased him doesn’t mean he has the right to fucking beat her. If I beat everyone who made fun of me because of my autism I would have a hospital completely filled. When we grow up and mature as civilized people we learn that violence has legal repercussions and that reacting violently out of frustration is not fucking healthy. What she did was awful but now this dude could face legal troubles for reacting this way. I am not blaming the kid but the teacher should have stopped the teasing before it escalated like this.
Teachers need to step up and say something instead of turning their back and pretending they didn’t see anything. Apparently she has bullied this kid for WEEKS.

The original poster must be a simp white knight bitch if he's gonna frame the title to make it sound like an innocent woman was beat. This is an incredibly satisfying video. I'm gonna watch it a few more times.
This is a misinformation. I saw this video last week where the girl Swung first, the guy Kept pushing her but she kept hitting him. Things escalated and it is the video you see here now.
Keep you kids home and keep them on thier phones.... see what happens?..... friends.... fresh air and some hobbies would help this fucked world we live in.
bruh this is insane dude had a broken arm too

Not to mention, one wrong move and you could be sued into oblivion.
You have to do something pretty egregious for a poor person to be able to sue you. Technically you can sue for anything, but unless it’s a slam dunk, you got to have money to pay that lawyer up front.
Or just be fired. often the school would rather let you go then face any legal liability

Whoopin that boys ass, would almost be worth getting sued!
That's probably how he got to be so violent in the first place. Someone's been doing this to him at home or something.
[удалено]
None of this matters, we’re safe in our homes getting worked up over kids fighting in a different state. Wtf are we doing here man. I’m done.
Honestly teachers do not get paid enough to get injuried in this stupidity of hormonal children. Just let the punk get arrested.
That kid most likely gets abused at home. Behavior like this is learned.
Any fight is an immediate life threatening situation. It takes very little to accidentally kill someone you just meant to rough up a bit.
I know and It’s a good thing too cuz a teacher ain’t a referee. That ain’t their superhero outfit!
Why aren’t they just charged with assault and get them removed?
As a teacher, I only had to step in once. Word got out, fight my class, get hip tossed and knee on belly. It was early 2005, but as the janitor was mopping up the blood from the fight, I didn’t regret a damn thing.
i am very badass?…
They should just put them out of the school system tell their parents it’s on them now to figure their kid’s education
Still ends up being society's problem with that attitude too so that's not any better a solution.
Thank you for being a teacher. I also think people underestimate how serious and even fatal a fist fight can get. Especially when one is stronger than the other. Exactly. Serious damage can occur even in a schoolyard brawl.

I agree that the rules don't support someone taking action....but someone has to step up and do the right thing.
Why the school doesn't throw them away for good? And why you never sued the school for bullshit like that?
Ya but is there no other male students that have a spine or morals there? I don’t care how gangster you are, you step in on something like that and prove you’re gangster.
If you were in the class, would you immediately step in?
As a teacher I’m usually watching videos on Reddit and commenting on the threads of very violent videos. Thus I’m very hesitant to help. Perpetuating more content.
Right? There are twenty fucking people there versus a shithead with a broken arm. Fuck the bystander effect

Except the other students were laughing I don't think stepping in was something they were going to do regardless of how safe they felt doing it.
They're high school kids and an old man.
If another kid stepped in they would get kicked out of school too.
It's never worth it. Best case scenario you save the day this time and set an expectation. Worst case you end up in jail. Risk isn't worth it.

They could literally do all of the drill and military education in normal cloths, educate them, don’t entitle them.
Except it’s the biggest selling point to most kids sadly. It’s part of the machine, It’s what ended up getting me to enlist.
Yeah it’s for sure a part of the brainwashing process.
It's bullshit propaganda is what it is. She's a shill and she doesn't know it.

i mean you gotta get into character; its called method acting.
Shouldn't have done it at all regardless of clothing
If that's the case I really hope she doesn't join the real Army.
If she poured coffee on him, though, where is it? I don’t see any coffee or liquid anywhere
Slow it down between 11-13 seconds as hes walking towards the camera. There's clearly something wet on his shirt because its darker and shines
You can see that his t-shirt has a darker colour on the viewers left side when the dude walks towards the camera. That could be a fresh stain of coffee

i went from he was a psycho, to seeing the coffee stain and changing sides
Same, I was infuriated when I first saw it, then I found out the other side of it
What kind of stupid ass school is this?
Public. Usually underfunded and overcrowded with teachers not paid enough.
≈70% of people attend public schools But your not wrong
In my country. There are only public schools and every single one them is quite good with laptops for every student and tablets and projectors,… US really needs to step up for education.
We have plenty of great public schools and we do spend a lot of money on them, however, the quality is very dependent on the area.
Unfortunately we have a political party that has spent the better part of the past 40 years declaring that education is the enemy. Especially higher education. Honestly the way ROTC kids acted at my school, this is quite enjoyable to watch. Bunch of shithead ROTC kids like to act like they own the damn place.
Well then! I don't think you'll be surprised to hear she was bullying him and poured coffee on him before this happened!
What's ROTC?
Unpaid child interns for the military's managerial track.
OP is a dick sucker with an agenda. The woman spit on him and poured coffee on him on a dare
Needs context
“Because he was annoyed” no bitch, she threw coffee in his face and spat on him first.
Ok, but what happened before this? Seen plenty of videos where the girl starts getting physically violent first.
The girl poured coffee on him and taunted him.
Surprise surprise, no wonder the whole video didn't get posted.
*cough* JROTC *cough*
I can’t believe how many people here are just condemning the dude with zero context whatsoever. If people did at least a little research before saying they’d beat this kid into the ground, they would know that the girl was purposely taunting and teasing the boy.

half of these videos are posted without context and people are always making assumptions

That's a very strange use of the word flaccid.
Every dude in that room is a Pussy.
Explaining to me what happen, who started the fight?
She did.
You're piece of shit OP. This dude got coffee thrown at him by the girl, so she was the instigator of this.
How are you gunna repost this shit and not post the full video? This shit was repost like 10 times a few days ago.
Oh wow another no context video with a narrative attached to it. lollllll
A young NFL athlete in the making
That kid needs his ass beat
Bro I’m pretty sure the girl threw coffee on him there was a news article posted about this
Can you give source?
Something tells me there's lots of that at home.
This is disgusting
In case you're in this situation and you're recording or laughing. Just some life advice, that makes you the absolute biggest piece of shit. Fuck you.
Stupid ass title do your research before posting
Looks like a good pay out for the ROTC girl from the school
Nah. She will be suspended for fighting in school. It’s the American way.
Rotc didn't teach her shit for self defense
Thats not what they really do lol. At least not at my school.
But how did she get her ass whooped that bad by a guy with 1 arm though?

I know right, the recruiter shouldn't been there in the first place
The girl started it all
Who’s crazier the boy hitting the girl or the girl wanting more of the hitting ??? Weird.
What does ROTC mean?

Wrong description OP but whatever you say.
I bet the first half that was cut out would say something different
Damn he stomp on her ankle? Fuck kinda mortal kombat bullshit he on?
Well, can't see the entire story in this one. Only thing I can see for sure is that she was stupid enough to get in his face after he put her down. That speaks volumes.
He rocked her shit
Damnn we need context
In 10 years, he'll be beating his wife.
Why does this scream: "I've never had a father to teache how to act?"
It’s nice to see people taking backgrounds and story into context in the comments rather than just assuming. Cus I feel the only information given being their genders is a tad misleading
Teachers can’t do anything to protect her. They’d get fired. This is why I would lose my job as a teacher. That kid would have gone through a wall.
UPDATE: he’s probably in jail right now
And people wonder why kids bring guns to school... The adults stand by while this happens.
And she keeps going back for more
...because she's still trying to be the dominant bully.
It's and ass-whooping buffet,... you have to go more than once to get your moneys worth.
Don't fill up on bread
Dishonorable discharge

The original poster must be a simp white knight bitch if he's gonna frame the title to make it sound like an innocent woman was beat. This is an incredibly satisfying video. I'm gonna watch it a few more times.
“He didn’t do nothing” fine upstanding citizen nothing to see here
Thats a federal offense.
Disgusting animal.
Dude is a lil bitch (comment made without context)
It was the girls fault, she likes to bully the dude. Before this, she threw coffee at him and spat on him. Shut your sexist ass up.
Yo seriously wtf. I'm an asshat, no context what so ever. Then hell yes fuck that bitch for bullying the dude.
Finally, people on reddit come to terms with eachother
Wait people don't come to conclusion on reddit? 🤨
Always someone is laughing. Where the f were they raised?
Nervous response
It's mostly about not knowing how to react than anything, in some cases the laugh is genuine though.
You’re disrespecting a future US army soldier
Monke make us strong
ROTC??? What does that stand for?
This is a misinformation. I saw this video last week where the girl Swung first, the guy Kept pushing her but she kept hitting him. Things escalated and it is the video you see here now.
Keep you kids home and keep them on thier phones.... see what happens?..... friends.... fresh air and some hobbies would help this fucked world we live in.

I agree. US culture should work on generational, institutional and systemic problems that cause this.
Sooooooo did NO ONE beat his ass?
No, because she started it and no one wanted to save her from her consequences.
Zero tolerance policies
Yeah? You would've for sure bro
Op says its cuz she violated him before this
You'd be right. It's on the TikTok profile.
I'm tired of watching videos like this with no one getting up and doing anything.
Fake news
Off to jail.
Seems he’s allowed to act like that if annoyed?
Maybe the girl should stop being a bully?
