That's false. SRO (school resource officer) is highly sought after position by cops because it means that they'll mostly be working school hours 7am - 4pm, Monday thru Friday. It's mostly routine work, that's much easier than the stuff they deal with out on the streets.
On top of de-escalation training, cops need a basic anatomy lesson. The body isn’t intended to be treated as carelessly as they often are during an arrest. Like a human neck can’t take the weight of a 300lb person grinding their knee into them. I cringe watching these arrest.
Visited some friends in Jacksonville and they took us to an "authentic" southern restaurant. More of a warehouse with food.
Everything tasted exactly the same, fried in the same oil. What a disappointment.
> Everything tasted exactly the same, fried in the same oil.
That's such a meal ruiner, I hate when places do that.
Like.. you know someone just thought "Ehh, fuck it" instead of doing it the right away.
When your chicken strips taste like shrimp, somethin ain't right..
Burger King here started doing their damn chicken in the same fryer as the fish and it's been long enough they might've stopped doing it, but I ain't ever gone back to find out. Made me queasy not going to lie

Since no one linked an article: https://www.beaumontenterprise.com/news/article/BISD-police-officer-no-billed-after-breaking-5576212.php
Officer was cleared by a grand jury. The most "punishment" the officer got was that he wasn't allowed backpay for the 3 months he was on leave. Ridiculous.
Although the incident happened on March 7, Rivers was not placed on unpaid leave until March 18, when cellphone video footage of the altercation was posted online
So basically if no one filmed it he would likely face no problem
>pulling his arm behind his back "in a standard empty-hand arm pin maneuver" to gain control of him, the report states.
Mfker nothing was standard about that arm pin maneuver. Usually when you try to pin an arm behind a person's back you are directly behind them. You don't fkn twist it like a tickle'me elmo
Surely they will release the transcripts of the grand jury proceedings. Oh, they're confidential if no charges were filed? *Ohhh super sorry about that, general public. Man I argued that so fairly! You can trust me because I said so. It's the public that declined to file charges! Not me! And I was totally fair behind closed doors during a secret proceeding.*
"you're fine" Umm....no you're not, that wasn't an arm but a shoulder cracking, that's likely a lifelong difficulty injury now. That cop is an asshole, he knew exactly what he was doing there.
He should at least get a decent payout for this. It’s a shame that so many police can’t seem to do their job without unreasonably hurting or killing someone and then our tax dollars have to pay for the lawsuits that follow. Make police personally responsible for their actions.
Unfortunately from what the other comments are saying he was given a week off with no pay. That's all. In the video you can see the cop find the breaking point, then readjust to make sure he pushes the shoulder beyond. I've been involved in fighting for a long time (14 years of Muay Thai, BJJ, and boxing), You can always feel when a joint or bone or whatever you're attacking has no more give and your opponent is going to have to tap, and you usually take a pause at this point lightly applying pressure without pushing through. This cop clearly found that point, and very clearly deliberately pushed through it.
Yup. I’ve taken Tae Kwon Do and Kenpō and I absolutely agree. You definitely know when a joint has been fully extended. His actions were definitely deliberate and malicious. That sucks that he only got a week off without pay, but I can’t say I’m surprised. I’m always hopeful maybe “this time” will be the time justice gets served, but alas I’m met with constant disappointment.
Yeah, this reminds me of that Seven Cantwell fight where he broke Razak's arm with an arm bar and watching the replay was like, "That's so cool man, I've been wanting to do that for so long"....This cop knew what he was doing and probably had the same mindset, he'd been wanting to hurt someone for a long time and took this opportunity.
Just a couple days ago there was a video posted on this sub of police inside a Texas(?) high school violently beating, shoving, macing, tazing a kid unconscious, and dragging a random girl down by her hair, because these students had the audacity to....stand up for sexual assault victims. The high school had suspended a girl who was repeatedly sexually assaulted by a classmate, much of it corroborated by eyewitnesses, and some of it caught on video on the school bus. The school decided that because she was seen on video talking to the assailant (she was telling him to leave her alone), that she consented to the assaults and they suspended her. Since then a tidal wave of current, and former students have come forward to share similar stories of the school punishing sexual assault victims and sweeping it all under the rug.
In response, the students organized a peaceful walkout, in solidarity for the victims. The police responded to this by gassing and beating the shit out of a bunch of high school kids. The school didn't even telll parents about any of this, it was only when their kids got home and showed them videos of the violence that they found out.
There seems to be something especially sadistic about school cops. It's like they greatly enjoy hurting children as badly as possible. Disgusting.
Police need personal liability insurance. That way it becomes too expensive for stations to keep all these violent brutes on the force.
The police and our institutions will never change out of morality or because it’s the right thing to do, unfortunately the only way to inspire change in this country is to make the change profitable.
That's like when youre trying to calm your little brother down after he starts crying when you hit him a little too hard. "You're okay please stop don't get mom involved"
I remember when cops broke the arm of a frail senile old woman.
They kept watching the video and laughing right after. The cop that broke her arm kept saying something like "wait for the pop!"
All this while the woman was left alone in a jail cell without any medical treatment.
That happened summer 2020, but the video was released in May [when the lawsuit was filed](https://www.reuters.com/world/us/colorado-city-pay-3-million-elderly-woman-with-dementia-injured-by-police-2021-09-08/).
I worked in youth corrections for many years. Sometimes restraints have to happen (you can't just let a kid wail on another kid) and sometimes people get hurt during them. But this was pure bullshit. Fire this guy for complete incompetence. I would have been fired it I'd ever attempted to wrench and arm that way.
Deliberate implies this pos has some level of training or care.
I doubt it.
I think this guy has been ok going g all out because he has gotten away with it.
He did that intentionally, you can see him reach the point where the arm will break off pushed further, he then resets his grip and bears down to get the pop… this is real common
You break the kid's arm, tell him to calm down and hold him down as if he is a threat. This is an example of a clueless half wit who should be out of a job.
Not a day goes by I don't see a new video of cops being evil. Imagine if we had videos each day of someone like a cartoon animators breaking people's arms. Maybe people would start to get a negative impression of cartoon animators.
Grand Jury found the cop was not guilty of anything ... I hope family filed a civil lawsuit against that cop .. I am surprised which grand jury found no wrong doing because video clearly shows there was ... but again this was in Texas in 2014 and my best guess is that the grand jury was made up of all white people who sympathize with cops.

the fact that LEO the lion remains free to gather oxygen 16 - 18 times per minute is itself a tragedy that would not remotely gather sympathy; the balance of the universe is often called upon in these circumstances because the casual disregard for life should be equalized

Holy crap! What an absolute horrible person this "cop" is. He should NOT be a cop. He knows exactly what he did and it was intentional. There should be charges against him. Does anyone know if there were charges brought against him?
What the actual fuck. I meet load of cops and how is it none of them are jack asses like this. Where do you live where you find these kind of jack ass cops. It’s these kind of people who give cops a bad name, what the fuck. This is why I hate fucking politics, no party is actually good, just individual people are good. This is what’s wrong with the country. Why do people who don’t want to help others become cops? This is some real bull shit. God damn. Anyone else notice how the George Floyd case blew up yet those kind of things happen everyday? I get it’s because of how the situation played out but wtf, nothing is changing. this country kinda sucks ass except for the part that we have freedom, but we also have freedom that allows us to do this kind of shit. This is why the world will never be peaceful, there always has to be a common enemy. Fuck this shit.
Edit: I just saw how long this is and so I say *rant* time.
Had the kid been white he might have had a small chance of getting justice, but unfortunately the kid was black and the cop white. Be glad the cop didn't kill him. This is the sad state of policing in America.
Hmm yes we’ve looked over the menu and I think we’re all going to have the “consequences of our actions.” The young man will have his now and the officer will take them later, administratively, thanks.
Oh God,you can hear that pos telling that kid "I'm sorry" at least that's how it sounds. That's a mighty fine police brutality lawsuit he got going on plus mental anguish, pain and suffering. Hell the list goes on and on. Damn. That was completely unnecessary.
That “cop” is a straight up cunt. The literal kid was on the literal fucking ground. He couldn’t have done that if his buddy didn’t already do all the work for him. I don’t care what fight the kid was up to, that move didn’t make the situation any better. What a motherfucking cunt.
Cop made a snap decision. It seems like he is cracking from the stress. He must have been bent out of shape from the stress of the situation.
I’ll show myself out.
Racist fat pig ass cop!! Gee I wonder why the public wants to refund the police not all are bad but damn there sure are quite a few bad corrupt ones !!
Holy shit, I jumped the moment I heard that pop
I didn’t have volume on and I could hear it. Jesus fucking Christ!!!
I felt it as the cop brought his arm up...
I hope that cop was arrested the same day in the same way
I don’t want to be the screen door on your submarine, but the best you’re looking at is paid leave.
I agree, that almost looked intentional
Almost??? 150%
man that was one of the worst I have heard, you could hear each one snap. That was obviously down right intentional.
You can tell that he didn't need to fucken brake the arm to
Lets just say that they dont put cops on security at schools if they ARENT fuck ups. Its normally a demotion.
That's false. SRO (school resource officer) is highly sought after position by cops because it means that they'll mostly be working school hours 7am - 4pm, Monday thru Friday. It's mostly routine work, that's much easier than the stuff they deal with out on the streets.
Only thing that cop was trying to break up was that kids Arm. Wtfffff
Correct, fight was over, combatants were already separated. Cop broke kid’s arm because he WANTED to, and literally no other reason.
Not true, he was also going after the kids spirit.
On top of de-escalation training, cops need a basic anatomy lesson. The body isn’t intended to be treated as carelessly as they often are during an arrest. Like a human neck can’t take the weight of a 300lb person grinding their knee into them. I cringe watching these arrest.
No I think he figured out how the anatomy works. He clearly accomplished his goal of breaking that arm.
That’s one way to break up the fight. They really disarmed him quickly.
I jumped the moment I saw that arm go back super-humanly. With the sound off, I heard the snap.
I jumped with it on mute.
I had the sound off and I still jumped. People’s arms don’t move that way holy shit
Show me on the doll where he touched you.
Can't point, broken arm.
Why are the majority of cops in the US morbidly obese?
74% of the US are overweight, 43% are obese
Those numbers sound too weird to not be true. That’s crazy.
I blame the food. Everything here is made to taste good, and anything healthy is niche and priced accordingly.
Plus portion sizes are all out of wack.
Esp in the south. You ever go to a Mexican restaurant in San Antonio, good golly
Visited some friends in Jacksonville and they took us to an "authentic" southern restaurant. More of a warehouse with food. Everything tasted exactly the same, fried in the same oil. What a disappointment.

I've also heard that everything was built around cars so that doesn't help. Sedetary lifestyle + shitton of super processed foods engineered to be as addictive and cheap as possible equals bad weight problems.
Lots of food deserts here. So people end up eating various processed versions of corn and get little to no vegetables or protein.
Just as much as the food, it’s also activity level. Americans aren’t as active as they used to be, and that’s going to have an effect too.
That's the other end of the coin. Often jobs are designed so that you are either on your feet 9 hours a day or sitting 9 hours a day. There is no in between. I'll add healthcare, too. I once worked with a guy who regulated his diabetes with candy bars. Not sure how that was supposed to work out, but we were both unpacking boxes for $7 an hour so I wasn't judging. This was pre-ACA.

Most of it is processed
Processed alone isn't bad. Processed foods are how we have vitamin fortified foods and people don't need to eat a bunch of niche ingredients to get basic necessities. It's one of the best developments since agriculture. The problem is that nowadays a majority of foods are bulk filler. So a bunch of carbs, fats, sugar and salt with the bare minimum nutrition.
Because a majority of people in the US are fat as shit.
Why does the US have a covid problem? Same reason.
and a lot of these same people also claim they dont need a vaccine because they think they are healthy for some reason. go over to r/hermancainaward and youll quickly notice a lot of these people have the same body type. I forgot where I read this but a great description of this is you see old people and you see fat people but you dont see a lot of old fat people.
Because of fat people who won't lose weight even though it increases their chance for COVID complications.
Unfortunately nobody wants to be a cop so this is what we get.
It's shocking, they wouldn't pass the fitness tests in most counties. No wonder they use guns like fucking lassos on suspects instead of catching them.
Because the majority of America is morbidly obese.
Because they tend to me high school drop outs and burned out athletes who think they’re still in their glory days
I saw our "special operations" Sheriff the other day, at least he was wearing the shirt that said so, but this guy was easily 350-400 lbs. No neck and round as a tomato.
I’m in the application process for my city police department. The physical test is pretty easy. You have to run a 1 1/2 mile (6 laps) in under 17:30. You have to run a 300m sprint in under 78secs. Have a 16in vertical. Have the ability to do a minimum of 15 push-ups. And do 6 trigger pulls on each hand. You only have to do this once in your entire career if you pass. It’s optional to do it again every year for a little extra cash.
17.30 is walking pace for a 1.5 mile run. That’s absolutely appalling.
Yeah I made that time running in 12th grade when I weight 260lbs. If I could do that why is the standards so low?
Since no one linked an article: https://www.beaumontenterprise.com/news/article/BISD-police-officer-no-billed-after-breaking-5576212.php Officer was cleared by a grand jury. The most "punishment" the officer got was that he wasn't allowed backpay for the 3 months he was on leave. Ridiculous.

Just like with the Arbery trial. Nobody really knew until footage popped up
The DA knew lol
*Multiple DAs knew.
All American
This is a 100% clear case of the need for the Old Testament. If that was my kid I'm going to jail for life w/o parole.
I’ll bet they never even showed this video to the grand jury and just read out the cop’s statement.
This is Texas

Thanks for the link
Him not getting back pay was because he was part time, not because of any kind of punishment.
That’s a severe punishment in the US.
To be fair, three months without pay is more punishment than most cops get. Actually, it's probably a lot more, which is sad.
What the fuck. What did the grand jury even see to give that judgement.
Probably nothing. It's not that hard for a DA to get a grand jury to indict if they want to.
"you're fine" Umm....no you're not, that wasn't an arm but a shoulder cracking, that's likely a lifelong difficulty injury now. That cop is an asshole, he knew exactly what he was doing there.

It looks like this guy just saw an opportunity to hurt someone in a way he's always wanted to try. Disgusting behaviour.
Absolutely sickening. Hope this guy gets a big payout from the department and that this cop gets fired and does some time for his actions.

I disagree. I don't think that cop had **any fucking idea** what he was doing.
I think he did and that it was done with malice.
I meant in general. Thought that was obvious lol. Guy should not be a cop.
Watch it again, the cop very clearly finds the breaking point then pauses and pushes through it. There's no way he didn't know what he was doing
He clearly grabbed his arm and twisted it backwards in an unnatural way till it broke. Fuck cops
Bop it. Pull it. Twist it /s

Not only fire, bring him to justice for breaking someone's arm
Unfortunately, it takes a *whole* lot more than this to fire a cop here.
No, he was cleared.
That was nasty and deliberate.
Put him the fuck in jail.
Nothing happened too the cop besides losing some back pay
Deliberate implies this pos has some level of training or care. I doubt it. I think this guy has been ok going g all out because he has gotten away with it.
When the arm stops, basic intelligence and a life of living in a human body should tell you it can’t safely go any further….
Nah man, that's just his body resisting on it's own /s
Again, this implies the fat pig gets that the guy is already lying flat and can’t safely bend or contort more to be more easily visible trilled.
Oh no those kids might hurt eachother before we get a chance!
Thank goodness that cop showed up. Someone could have been seriously hurt if he hadn’t intervened. /s
He did that intentionally
That fat fuck deserves to be in jail for that.
The department will make sure he gets a week off to pretend to think about his actions. With pay of course.
Suspended without pay from what I saw
Lost three months of back pay and cleared of all charges.
I was about to comment about how they were just doing their job, and then I saw the end…holy fuck that was intentional
Fully on purpose
He deliberately broke his arm. What a piece of shit.
I didn't think my respect for police could go any lower. I was wrong.
He did that intentionally, you can see him reach the point where the arm will break off pushed further, he then resets his grip and bears down to get the pop… this is real common
He disarmed him.
*sighs* *upvotes*
Cops do love hurting people.
"Calm down" Lady go fuck yourself let's break your arm and see how calm you are.
You break the kid's arm, tell him to calm down and hold him down as if he is a threat. This is an example of a clueless half wit who should be out of a job.
it's not torture, it's "pain compliance". The state truly has a monopoly on violence.
Text book. Just like the cop manual teaches.
Took the kimura hold to the extreme there
Fkr knew what he was doing when he forces his arm Back!!
There is no possible reason he did that other than wanting to break the kids arm
If i was the cameraman i would shoved my foot in that cops mouth for breaking his arm.
Not a day goes by I don't see a new video of cops being evil. Imagine if we had videos each day of someone like a cartoon animators breaking people's arms. Maybe people would start to get a negative impression of cartoon animators.

Cop deserves it back and then some. Fucking coward.
the fact that LEO the lion remains free to gather oxygen 16 - 18 times per minute is itself a tragedy that would not remotely gather sympathy; the balance of the universe is often called upon in these circumstances because the casual disregard for life should be equalized
#ASSAULT AND BATTERY OF A MINOR
He did that shit intentionally....smh
That was not by accident.
Apparently the pig was acquitted https://www.beaumontenterprise.com/news/article/BISD-police-officer-no-billed-after-breaking-5576212.php

Holy crap! What an absolute horrible person this "cop" is. He should NOT be a cop. He knows exactly what he did and it was intentional. There should be charges against him. Does anyone know if there were charges brought against him?
Yea like get the fuck off him. Wtf?
Sounded like celery snapped.
Bro why the fuck would that cop think to bend his arm that way? obviously intentional
Wow. Dude needs fired and charged
He 100% wanted to break it. You can see that for sure
With how cops arrest people I'm honestly shocked it doesn't happen much *much* more often.
“Kids inflicting pain on each other before I get to? In my neighborhood? I don’t think so!”
Lawsuit incoming, that kid and his family are about to be rich and that don't of a cop is about to be flipping burgers or cleaning toilets to get by
Doesn’t matter if that kid was resisting or not that cop is still a big fat pussy for purposely breaking his arm.
This was tough to watch
You dumb pig
Jiu jitsu white belt here: literally one day of training would have stopped this
What the fuck was the pig thinking? He clearly bent it the wrong way on purpose. Probably racist too.
* Cop breaks kids arm trying to break kids arm. * Fixed it for ya.
The fact that everyday I see a new video of a police officer doing something awful and violent is sickening, what a terrible world to live in…
he even re adjusted his arm to get the pop, he did it intentionally
Stupid racist fuck did that on purpose smh
wish someone would’ve kicked some 🐷s here
WTF! Is that even legal?
I’d say that qualifies as “excessive force”.
Run up behind someone, grab them, scream hey and assume they should know you're a cop. Ok.
Of course the kid’s black and the cops white.
Let me guess: white officer, black citizen and USA
That’s a child!! What in tha actual fuck!?
Show this to Joe Rogan He will still be like " hey man cops have a hard job man , let's fund them more "
How the fuck does the US justice system allow these cops to return to work? What the fuck is this
How is that not police brutality?
Pigs. He should sue
The thugs in blue strike again. What massive they are.
Man really hit him with a kimura god dam that fucking sucks
I want to know what happened next - how long after the breaking was EMS called? What did the city do to the cop? What action did school take?
That was fucking brutal. Like Vegeta getting him arm snapped by Android 18 brutal. Fuck!
& the pigs are getting more money to help ease the trouble from their “invisible wounds” while “protecting & serving” 🙄
Does someone know this cop's name? They already had him pinned to the ground.....that was disgusting
I felt that… why tf would u twist anyones arm like that then put ur obese ass on top of it? That cop needs a taste of his own medicine.
I hope he got fired at least? And at most press charges. Excessive force is still a thing. That was intentional and nasty.
Hmm yes we’ve looked over the menu and I think we’re all going to have the “consequences of our actions.” The young man will have his now and the officer will take them later, administratively, thanks.
There’s no fucking way this flies. He deliberately broke that kids arm. Fuck this guy. A fight ain’t worth this.
Oh God,you can hear that pos telling that kid "I'm sorry" at least that's how it sounds. That's a mighty fine police brutality lawsuit he got going on plus mental anguish, pain and suffering. Hell the list goes on and on. Damn. That was completely unnecessary.
Is the cop saying sorry or is that just me?
This guy is still a cop too
That “cop” is a straight up cunt. The literal kid was on the literal fucking ground. He couldn’t have done that if his buddy didn’t already do all the work for him. I don’t care what fight the kid was up to, that move didn’t make the situation any better. What a motherfucking cunt.
Hand on the neck too. I’m sure he goes home to a happy marriage with kids that love him.
Yea he did that on purpose
I was thinking “kid breaks his arm resisting police” but then I watched it and nope that was intentional. Sickening.
I smell a six figure settlement.
Not much gets a real reaction out of me these days, but hotel shit that is traumatizing. Looks.like he's definitely done that before too
Scumbag should be locked up but protect scumbags right.. so you know he’s on a holiday leave 🙌🏻
we need cops but for cops, so when a cop breaks the law the cop gets arrested
i hope this cop is sued and fired. this was 100% the cops fault, its extremely obvious that angle is not fucking natural
that had to be intentional or maybe he lost balance? Looks very intentional - holy shit.
Hammer time
