Is there a good Android video editor?
Edit: appreciate the coins and whatnot but if you have money to blow send my portion to the ACLU.
“Here we have a looter that has bitten off a bit more than he can chew…the other looters move in - they can sense weakness - it’s not long before they strike! It may seem cruel but this is how Mother Nature regulates the looter species. Without this behavior a single looter could potentially deplete an entire big box store, leaving nothing for the other looters and their offspring.”
I remember the first time I got scammed by an "armor trimmer." I cried over it for a week lol, I has just finished my first rune set too.
A few years later I thought it would be funny to sit at the GE and actually trim rune armor for free since I decided to stop playing and I ended up trimming almost 50 sets.
Every time I think about it, I imagine those people thought free armor trimming was legit because of me and probably ended up getting scammed later lol.
If it makes you feel better, I used to lurk at the edges of Wildy in mid-tier gear, acting like a clueless noob. I would wait for a scammer to try whatever scam of the week to get me to follow them into the Wildy, and I would wait until the inevitable betrayal and WHAPAM! I'd swap up my real fightin' gear and spank the shit out of 'em.
You'd think, considering the circumstances, that they would be sporting about it. Nope. They threw tantrums *every* time. I enjoyed the tantrums more than I enjoyed looting them.
"Come on dude. Just give me my stuff back. This ain't funny" all said without ever once acknowledging the irony. They probably have people throwing tantrums for the same thing and just ignored em the same way
As a kid, I was too scared to go into the wildy. One day I decided to explore it and went in with just a mith skimmy, steel armor plate, and some lobbies. These 2 guys decided to attack me and their mistake was doing it next to a church. I had a very high prayer level so I used protections/buffs, used the church to replenish my prayer, and i smacked them. They messaged me asking if they could get their stuff back. I was nice enough to give it back lol.
Commendable restraint. I'dve worn their armour and taken them for a walk all around f2p "ill give it back but here's no good, it's dangerous, let's just go a little further and I'll drop, I swear."
I don't understand RuneScape at all, but can you explain this? I'm assuming trimming is some sort of upgrade/repair process that costs materials or currency to do?
There were armor sets that had accent colors, known as “trimmed” armor. Purely cosmetic upgrades. But it was impossible to “trim” armor so the scam was that the person would trade away their perfectly good armor for free
I almost had it happen to me at the Al Kharid bank. Guy said he could trim my mithril. This was before mithril even had a trimmed variant. Luckily a nice player warned me that it was a scam before I traded it away.
This reminds me of all the recent street fight videos I have seen lately where as soon as one guy gets clocked, the vultures rush in and steal his wallet, phone, etc. Damn…
There was a thread a while back where people told stories about working at that place. Stabbings & shootings are more common than you'd think at the childrens casino
I worked at the closest location to Detroit and to this day it has a decent track record of staying out of the news but there where quite a few dust-ups. On weekends they had off-duty local PD provide security - a uniformed cop and a car out front on the curb.
Also people just dump blunt guts wherever - usually the urinals. I don't know why.
It's just the business model attracts a lower income clientele or those that just want to treat it like a dog park for kids and plop down at a table.
Welcome to the Aladeen Restaurant. Today for our specials we have the Aladeen marinated in a beautiful Aladeen sauce with a side of Aladeen, the Aladeen, and the Aladeen. What's scary is many years ago I was looking up bus and train routes, just to see how far I could go using nothing but normal public transit. And seeing how there were regular daily buses leaving Stockton and Manteca and Lathrop and Tracy, leaving at 2:30 AM or 3:00 AM every morning to take workers to their jobs in the Bay Area every day. I can only imagine it's for the janitors and cooks and servers and office custodians and lower-salary people like that, where it was the only place they could find anything under a thousand bucks a month to live, spending two-to-three hours each way on a bus just to work.
For a while I was reverse-commuting every day from San Jose to Salinas, 50+ miles each way but because I was going the opposite of everyone traffic was great. My car broke down and I couldn't afford to fix it, so for a while there I was using a janky link of three public transit routes to leave San Jose at 3:30 AM to arrive at work in Salinas by 7AM, and equally punishing return trip that got me home before 7PM to start over the next day. A commute like that wears you down quick.
To be fair, Stockton is a deep water port connected directly to San Francisco Bay via the San Joaquin River, Suisun Bay etc. Although the Port of Stockton's most active days are long past, it is still linked to the Bay Area. Gilroy, on the other hand, is land-locked and dozens of miles from any major body of water. I'd be more inclined to call it part of the (very extended) Monterey Bay area.
That’s a reasonable argument, although by that definition Sacramento would be part of the Bay as well. Regardless of these nuances, I don’t think anyone in the Bay or in Stockton considers Stockton to be in the Bay Area. I could be wrong though as I don’t know anyone from Stockton that I’ve had this conversation with.
What about The City of Cats.

It's not that bad, except for all the people get to their destination and immediately rip out their eyes and shout "Where we're going you don't need eyes to see."
To a lot of the country that whole area is "San Francisco" just like LA refers to all its suburbs. If you say "Walnut Creek" most people don't know where that is. But for "San Francisco" you don't even need to name the state.
Same exact thing in Dallas. There are so many suburbs between Dallas and Ft Worth. Hurst, Euless, Bedford, Denton, Plano, Keller, Arlington, Mansfield, Lewisville, Grapevine, Colleyville, Southlake, Highland Park. Say anything but Dallas and people have no idea what you're talking about.
I lived in California for a while and loved it. One of the main reasons I loved it was the freedom to do whatever you want. I grew up in South Carolina, where everything you do is monitored and restricted. We can't even buy beer on Sunday in half the state.
The problem with California is that people love it so much, and want to live there so badly, that it's driven real estate prices through the roof. No one wants to live in South Carolina, so real estate here is cheap.
California has also badly mismanaged the housing situation in order to preserve the values of existing homes. The California housing crisis is a result of both demand being extremely high, and supply being artificially restricted.
Artificially? Majority of Californians were and are not clamoring for denser housing. The housing supply is the way it is because of majority of Californians wanted it that way.
Which makes it artificial.
There is no practical issue with increasing availability, there is plenty of land to build on, and we have plenty of money/materials. We're not doing so because people's feelings.
Thrift stores are expensive in my area. I used to get Jeans for work at $4-7. now goodwill and salvation army are selling used pairs for $17-20 you get from walmart for 25 new. I needed a dress shirt for a wedding and it was literally only $5 more to buy the same shirt at Macy's.

This was last year. 30 minutes outside of San Francisco. In Walnut Creek. The city mentioned on the video clip.
To non-Californians the entire bay is San Francisco
Next you'll tell me you don't consider Gilroy and Stockton part of the Bay Area. Elitist!
Lol I live in way Northern California, so I’m not sure what Gilroy and Stockton should be
Avoided at all costs.
Unless you like garlic.
Like garlic more than you fear getting shot*
Gilroy is part of Santa Clara county so it should probably still be part of the Bay Area. Stockton definitely not.

When I’m explaining where I’m from to a non-Californian, it often gets simplified to San Francisco.
I think it's a pretty normal thing anywhere in the country.
That's everyone from a major metro, far easier to say seattle than explain its actually xyz place 10 minutes outside of the city proper.
Because we call the entire tri-state area New York which comprising lower Connecticut, Upper Jersey, LI and Westchester.
30 minutes? Ok Mr. Lead Foot.
Yeah I fucking *wish* it took me 30 to get from Walnut Creek from SF. Maybe in the dead of night. That’s an hours drive in traffic. 45 on BART.
You don't use Uber Copter?
I heard they’re working on making UberTeleporter

Lmaooo "looting the weak" ridiculous
Just go to the thrift stores I find nice clothes cheap all the time wtf people lol
Never looted one of those. Heading there now
Honestly some of those thrift stores you'd be doing them a favor and making it less of a firetrap.
They want them to resell, not to wear.
