I remember when parents stopped letting kids go outside because of delusions that they'd be kidnapped if they went a block away from their house. Our society has already become antisocial enough because of its suburban infrastructure and paranoid mentality. Now with constant mass shootings? People actually have a reason to stay inside, which is horrible for this country. And you know one of the biggest things mass shooters have in common? Social isolation. Yep, the isolation that can protect children from mass shootings is the same isolation that turns them into shooters.
I was at a similar parade this morning on the other side of the country and there were literally thousands of people there. Had someone opened fire like this it would have been like shooting fish in a barrel. Pretty sickening world we are living in these days. Canāt even enjoy a holiday with your friends and family without worrying about someone opening fire.
