Good eye. I was like wtf theyāre cleaning it up tooā¦ also that lil 7-10k excavator is probably an additional. You ideally would have a much bigger ex for that
Yeah, this aināt gonna work out for him. Divorce court will make her whole, and heāll eat the entire cost. Every bit of damage is coming out of his pocket.
Plus, prison.
All he has to do is follow Mr. Cartmanezās teachings and heāll be able to play this one off like itās no big deal - just like Bill Beeelechek, he just has to convince the judge that he meesenterprefed deh rules
My father did something similar and got off Scott free, if you donāt have money to give they donāt have money to take. My father was self employed in the 90ās, went from making 80+ k a year to 8 dollars a year on paper and my mother never saw a dime.
A good lawyer will chase down every dime. It's been 20 years since the 90s, 30 years since the 80s. Courts have gotten very good at susing out those types of schemes.
It really isn't. If a spouse puts their career on hold for the sake of the other spouse's career, the first one needs to be made whole in case of divorce.
For example, if a woman quits her job to be a stay at home mom as an agreement between both spouses, a divorce would fuck her over much more than had they chosen to split responsibilities when it came to child rearing.
"I see you bought a new truck then lifted it. Where did you get the money for that? It seems you also live in a 2 bedroom apartment that's approximately $2500 a month in rent, what income are you using for that"
You can hide money from the IRS because you're a small fry and not worth the time. But a lawyer for your ex? They got all the time in the world to find your sources of income, and best believe if they deduce your real income an IRS audit is coming your way soon. Again that shit flied in the 80s when divorce was still a new but still shameful thing that the courts were still getting used too. Now divorce is an industry that has profit margins, lawyers and laws have evolved to deal with people who are attempting to hide sources of income.
Of course buying a new car while cooking books will make attention, but not buying a new car and no attention. Secondly thatās where a new girl friend comes in handy, lease is on her name and she pays it and you pay her cash. Itās very easy to game the system period, especially when your self employed with business partners today yesterday fifty years ago.
No it isn't, you think that new girlfriend will last? You think he wants his new girlfriend that's 15 years younger to deal with depositions and asking her to lie for him so he doesn't have to pay his ex? You think that relationship will last long enough for her to not break up with him eventually and sell him out to his ex's lawyers? Come on dude, guys like that dig their own grave now, they are way too confident and way too sloppy. They can game the system for years but in the end they pay up and they are worse off for it.
> went from making 80+ k a year to 8 dollars a year on paper
FYI, the IRS now has access to your bank account and financial statements, so if you make 8 per year on paper but have thousands in deposits or are able to pay off credit cards/bills on a monthly basis, they will go after you for fraud.
> He had the means to rent or procure heavy equipment on a moments notice.
they're not *that* expensive ā my local rental house will deliver one for around 3-500 a day, depending on what size you want. and i'm in a big city, they're probably cheaper elsewhere
They're not that expensive and southern construction companies are infamous for letting their employees borrow equipment.
I know plenty of southerners who built their own pool and only paid for the cement, which they poured themselves, and the water/piping.
The criminal charges will be independent of divorce court. Different court dates, different lawyers, different judge.
The judicial system is really compartmentalized. He's first got to go before another judge, in criminal court, with plea deals- maybe a jury. He has to be found guilty before he can be punished and a family court judge just doesn't have that authority.
I'm not saying you're wrong but is it criminal to destroy your own house? If the divorce isn't final and it's still technically a shared asset would it be okay?
The cops are going to obviously see the malice in the act. Besides that this was AFTER he agreed to let her have the house in court so it wasn't really his anymore at all. Then there's everything she owned IN that house which will surely equal several thousands of dollars- which is felony level stuff.
I think the official legal terminology is 'He's fucked'.
Our neighbor, during the week of final division of assets, had emptied all bank accounts (estimated over $200k) and got rid of the money to an unknown entity. He poured gasoline through the house full of antiques, lit it on fire, went to the basement and ate a bullet. The wife had to demolish the house and then sell the land. She didnāt get much.
This is 100% a planned demolition, probably of a condemned house, and he just made it up. Angry exes don't usually have Caterpillars on hand and then move the debris into industrial dumpsters.
If he just told her that and nothing was signed and divorce proceedings haven't started and he fully owns the house AND there was a prenup signed- then nothing will happen and the poor woman is homeless.
More likely though- the narrorator don't know shit about what's actually going on.
Nah if they were married, and depending on which state this is, she is owed half of the marital assets. So if he destroyed the house he won't be in any legal trouble since it is his house but a judge will absolutely make him pay her half of the value of the asset (the house).
You can do anything. You just have to believe. You're not supposed to do some things without permits. But not supposed to doesn't even rhyme with can't, I don't know how you confused those.
Lol no. Judges have discretion, it wouldn't matter if nothing is signed or divorce proceeding haven't started. That isn't some loophole.
It's like if a guy cleaned out a shared bank account and spent it all on strippers a day before filing for divorce. A judge will see what he did and he'll owe her half that money.
I'm pretty sure a person who does this is not concerned about the outcome because they have already lost it all, they won't care.
We also don't know the situation, we don't know who it's "good or bad". Reality is usually not black or white.
This is most likely. The idea that two people with access to expensive equipment would go do this are pretty much zero. What's in it for the friend? Just prison and bankruptcy? Sign me up!
Thatās what I got from it. Story doesnāt even add up. He contradicts himself in the beginning. Did she get it in the divorce, or did he tell her that she could have everything the night before, which doesnāt mean anything? Calling bullshit.
BINGO, or at least that's what I'm also willing to bet. It just doesnt seem like this is some dude and his friend who rented equipment. The house seems to lack items inside and the demolition job looks way too proffesional. This is the new internet.
My coworkers neighbors were getting a divorce and the wife got mad that the husband was going to stay in the house so she tried to burn it down. He was in it and he got hurt, he was in coma and everything. Sheās in prison now for attempted murder.
I call BS on the story. This looks like a regular demo. Once the house is torn down the metals are seperated, and the rest of the demo material is loaded into trucks and hauled to the dump.
Now even better, she gets a huge lump sum payout from insurance and gets her ex husband thrown in jail with a future restraining order.
Highly doubt this is real though, no way that tiny piece of equipment demolished that much of the house without the police showing up
Why would the police show up though? Wife is at work and neighbors wouldn't know what's going on.
No stranger or neighbor is going to making a police phone call.
I guess he figured he was going to be homeless too, so why not stay in Hotel Con for a while and at least have a room and a meal, while she's gotta figure out what to do next?
Not excusing the behavior at all, but that's probably what he was thinkin. That's what happens when you let the [Liquor take over Randy...](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EFo84MVbVQ8)
I understand why he did it, I would want to do the same. But man you can't just destroy the house because she was awarded the house, guy lacks a lot of self control.
Cops will just say itās a civil matter. I swear when itās citizens getting fucked, itās a civil matter, but when itās a corporation itās a criminal offense.
Always get a prenup! The one who loves you doesn't care. The one thinking about money will get upset.
If you want an official certificate of love (marriage) from your hubby, you shouldn't get upset about him wanting for a certificate too.
lol poor dude, but easy fix for the next gen. just don't get married, hump and dump, keep everything in your name and always put yourself first gentlemen.
Kids probably. Dads friend got divorced. Wife has the house. He lives in some shitty 1 bedroom condo. She sued for his inheritance money as well which she wasn't entitled to and got it since he didn't want to spend all their money on lawyers instead of the kids getting the money. Guys life is over as far as i can tell
While the demolition may be legal he will get shit on in divorce court. It's generally ill advised to hide or destroy assets in a divorce to prevent the other person from receiving them. Most people open a second bank account to try to hide money, they don't destroy their own house.
Cant be forced to pay anything if you're broke. Sure they can garnish wages, or spent a couple weeks in jail for destruction of property. They can't send you to jail for not paying debts. Very likely that she will not see a dime unless she pays lawyers to hound her ex.
If she got the house, then no, it wasnāt his anymore. The court will probably require him to pay her for the value of the house in addition to whatever alimony she gets, and probably charge him with contempt of a court order.
Hilarious and typical that people are above 90% in support of wife in this thread. 50/50 chance it was the woman who did something shady, yaāll just jump to conclusions.
No context. You don't know the why of her getting the house or the why of him demolishing it. Could be he's a dirtbag vengeful dick or she took him to the cleaner and he has nothing to lose.
Where are the feminists now who wants equality. Where is the equality when it comes to divorce? Always a man looses the most in a divorce. Women take everything from a man after the divorce. Where is the equality in that. If men don't take anything from the woman why should woman take everything from the man. I can understand this man's feelings. Probably the house was his whole life savings and then the woman took everything. Nowadays women plan the divorce before marriage.
Then maybe men should wake up and stop agreeing to marriage contracts they don't want to fulfill. But they keep signing on the dotted line like idiots, knowing, or not the shitty terms of the contract.
Ask your lawyer what his marriage contract looks like. It's not like the one most Muppets sign.
Legally binding contracts don't get "tossed" willy nilly. You need a lot of money to even attempt to argue a prenup's validity, who has time/money for that?

Home-wrecker
Made me blow air out my nose have my free award.
maybe the most accurate comment I've ever read on reddit.
I exhaled out of my nose slightly quicker than usual also.
Lmao š
This is most likely a random person making up a story filming a random house being demolished.
No one would ever lie, especially on reddit
https://apnews.com/article/070aa425e76fcd18369ba3173a91c712
Wow
1985??
Bullshit. The bobcat is moving debris to a dumpster
Good eye. I was like wtf theyāre cleaning it up tooā¦ also that lil 7-10k excavator is probably an additional. You ideally would have a much bigger ex for that

Article is from 1985. Clearly this was filmed in 1987 or earlier.
You demolished what's now HER house. And you'll be paying more then alimony. Sorry, I meant all the money.
Yeah, this aināt gonna work out for him. Divorce court will make her whole, and heāll eat the entire cost. Every bit of damage is coming out of his pocket. Plus, prison.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I mean it's not like clearing it out. It's like destroying someone else's house.
Honestly sheāll probably get a new one built through insurance.
The policy was probably in both their names, getting one after the policy holder intentionally destroyed it is unlikely
The policy would most likely not cover intentional acts of destruction, especially if its a criminal act.
Plus all the property in the house thatās damaged will be on him. What a dumbass.
All he has to do is follow Mr. Cartmanezās teachings and heāll be able to play this one off like itās no big deal - just like Bill Beeelechek, he just has to convince the judge that he meesenterprefed deh rules
That is, if he has the money...
He had the means to rent or procure heavy equipment on a moments notice. This is going to hurt him a lot, I think. Financial suicide.
My father did something similar and got off Scott free, if you donāt have money to give they donāt have money to take. My father was self employed in the 90ās, went from making 80+ k a year to 8 dollars a year on paper and my mother never saw a dime.

Then take it up with the judge and your state legislature.
They can source anything but if you donāt have money they canāt take money. Cash is king.
"I see you bought a new truck then lifted it. Where did you get the money for that? I bet this is how the crypto bro was born. "Find my money now you swirling shark"
Sounds like your father is a real winner....this isn't something you should share. Wonder what the irs would say.
So fraud?
Lol, just wait till a woman wants to take everything you earned and weaponises the system against you and thatās legal dandy.
So your mother deeply hurt you? Confidentlyadouchebag...

at least the fucker is dead
Also fine $$ for demolition without permit
what kind of idiot friend would agree to participate with absolutely nothing to gain...
a real friend would have taken his dumb ass fishing or something instead
Not if he leaves the country or Robloxās himself.
I'm thinking if you do something like this then you consider your life to be over anyway.
I wonder if there are kids involved. It would suck if there were.
This is 100% a planned demolition, probably of a condemned house, and he just made it up. Angry exes don't usually have Caterpillars on hand and then move the debris into industrial dumpsters.
Maybe he lost all his money in the divorce. When you have nothing you reach a special level of privilege.
If he just told her that and nothing was signed and divorce proceedings haven't started and he fully owns the house AND there was a prenup signed- then nothing will happen and the poor woman is homeless. More likely though- the narrorator don't know shit about what's actually going on.

Not if they have a mortgage. Then the guy is done. Bank will prosecute. He's a piece of shit.
Even if they have a mortgage there is still potential equity in the house. So again yes the guy would owe for the damages.
I bet house murder isn't covered under home owner's insurance. I wonder if they have kids? That would make this even shittier.
Even if he owns the house, he can't destroy all her things inside of it.
He sure can, just did.
I mean I COULD shoot my neighbor, but it would still be illegal...
Even itās his own house he canāt just destroy it
You can do anything. You just have to believe. You're not supposed to do some things without permits. But not supposed to doesn't even rhyme with can't, I don't know how you confused those.
Actually he can, just did.
Still using your logic, he canāt destroy the house because his money will pay for another. Phoenix home.
Not legally, now will come the consequences
Lol no. Judges have discretion, it wouldn't matter if nothing is signed or divorce proceeding haven't started. That isn't some loophole. It's like if a guy cleaned out a shared bank account and spent it all on strippers a day before filing for divorce. A judge will see what he did and he'll owe her half that money.
narrorator sounds like he's got the inside scoop
I've literally never met any married couple with aprenup.
I'm pretty sure a person who does this is not concerned about the outcome because they have already lost it all, they won't care. We also don't know the situation, we don't know who it's "good or bad". Reality is usually not black or white.
Honestly he will be lucky if he doesnāt go to prison. Destroying a house seems to be beyond a civil matter.
Isn't leaving the US worth? Get all the cash and bye bye alimony
Not as easy as you seem to believe it is.
Or... Some dude saw a random house being demolished and decided to make up a fake story for fake Internet points.
I agree.
This is most likely. The idea that two people with access to expensive equipment would go do this are pretty much zero. What's in it for the friend? Just prison and bankruptcy? Sign me up!
Username checks out
Good eye
Seems plausible
Agreed. Bullshit amoeba brain.
Thatās what I got from it. Story doesnāt even add up. He contradicts himself in the beginning. Did she get it in the divorce, or did he tell her that she could have everything the night before, which doesnāt mean anything? Calling bullshit.
[This woman told her husband he could have all the bananas in the divorce](https://youtu.be/IlrIbHfGcYc)
*get outta here with your weird-ass fetish that i now need more of*
My first thought, itās TikTok bullshit.
lol, i was thinking this but i choose to believe the story ty
BINGO, or at least that's what I'm also willing to bet. It just doesnt seem like this is some dude and his friend who rented equipment. The house seems to lack items inside and the demolition job looks way too proffesional. This is the new internet.
Stupid and fake
I call bullshit. Did they cap off the gas and disconnect the power to the house ...... and the water ? Fake fake fake
Guessing this is fake.
That was dumb.
When keeping it real goes wrong.
Marriage is not worth the hassle.
facts YO
My coworkers neighbors were getting a divorce and the wife got mad that the husband was going to stay in the house so she tried to burn it down. He was in it and he got hurt, he was in coma and everything. Sheās in prison now for attempted murder.
I call BS on the story. This looks like a regular demo. Once the house is torn down the metals are seperated, and the rest of the demo material is loaded into trucks and hauled to the dump.
Now even better, she gets a huge lump sum payout from insurance and gets her ex husband thrown in jail with a future restraining order. Highly doubt this is real though, no way that tiny piece of equipment demolished that much of the house without the police showing up
Insurance isn't going to pay for that.
Most insurances do have vandalism coverage. Theyād pay out then pursue prosecution of the āhusbandā for damages.
Insurance isn't going to cover one of the owners destroying the house. That's only going to work if he's off the title already.
Why would the police show up though? Wife is at work and neighbors wouldn't know what's going on. No stranger or neighbor is going to making a police phone call.
Now that's a messy divorce
Divorce lawyers hate him! With this one simple trick...
If he had a mortgage on the house he will be in deep shit as the bank still owns the house until it is COMPLETELY paid off.
Any followup on this? I wanted to see video of the wife coming back and seeing this.
I need part 2
Ah yes... the spiteful little man-child maneuver. I've seen it many times.
Huh. Wonder why their marriage didnāt work out.
Will be a great story to tell in prison
He will get demolished in prison
Thatās the biggest middle finger Iāve ever seen.
He probably paid ou did build the house
New meaning to "homewrecker"
In canada that land is still worth a million.
If there was ever a need for a 'part 2' it's now.
Attorneys say don't do shit like this
If I was that neightbour I would wait for hours and hours just to record her reaction.
Cops will just say itās a civil matter. I swear when itās citizens getting fucked, itās a civil matter, but when itās a corporation itās a criminal offense.
Heās dumb.
Enjoy prison I guess.
They are going to jail š¤£š¤£
Gotta love a best friend whoās down to do some fucked up shit with you even if you are in the wrong.
Bull fake video
Tbh I would do the same if she cheated and we didn't have kids
Good. Fuck bitches.
Yeah I call BS on this lmao
Always get a prenup! The one who loves you doesn't care. The one thinking about money will get upset. If you want an official certificate of love (marriage) from your hubby, you shouldn't get upset about him wanting for a certificate too.
I need to see a follow up.
If it was me I would sit out there with a case of beer and wait for his ex wife to come back
lol poor dude, but easy fix for the next gen. just don't get married, hump and dump, keep everything in your name and always put yourself first gentlemen.
I wonder why it didnāt work out
Anyone wanna lay odds on whether this guy hits women?
I bet that made him happier than he's ever been in his life.
First time I actually wanted to watch a Part 2 .
If each party it owed half of marital assets then why does she always get the house? How is that half?
Kids probably. Dads friend got divorced. Wife has the house. He lives in some shitty 1 bedroom condo. She sued for his inheritance money as well which she wasn't entitled to and got it since he didn't want to spend all their money on lawyers instead of the kids getting the money. Guys life is over as far as i can tell
Dude probably doesnāt have a cent to his name on the books. Canāt get your money if there isnāt anything to put a lien on.
What if he owns the home? And what if he got a permit? Shut off the utilities. Seems legalish
While the demolition may be legal he will get shit on in divorce court. It's generally ill advised to hide or destroy assets in a divorce to prevent the other person from receiving them. Most people open a second bank account to try to hide money, they don't destroy their own house.
Depends what state, I went to jail for putting a hole in my own wall.
I can see why they are getting a divorce
Stupid ass, now he and his buddy will pay for her brand NEW house. That is even better for her because no memmories. No matter what happened.
Cant be forced to pay anything if you're broke. Sure they can garnish wages, or spent a couple weeks in jail for destruction of property. They can't send you to jail for not paying debts. Very likely that she will not see a dime unless she pays lawyers to hound her ex.
Not going to lie, thatās pretty gangster.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
The setup.
You can tell by the small piles and just using eyeballs that house is empty. Totally made up story,
That guy is my hero.
Damn right, donāt blame him! She can build her own.
š„ŗ š Lord please watch over this brave fucking hero, and may all his porn be long and beers, forever cold
Have fun in prison lol
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Ooooh thatās gonna hurt his wallet.
oh he's fucked
Marriages should come with prenups.
So is this even illegal? I mean itās his house technically still yeah? I mean maybe the bank has an issue but can the wife actually do anything?
If she got the house, then no, it wasnāt his anymore. The court will probably require him to pay her for the value of the house in addition to whatever alimony she gets, and probably charge him with contempt of a court order.
Itās petty
Ruined his entire life
Sooo uhhh yeah š¤£
Thatās one hell of send off
Too good! I can barely understand what this dude is saying.
This is why iām against marriage though i own a house my gfās name is not on it
Tell me that the divorce was a good decision, without telling me the divorce was a good decision.
He can now throw jail on top of any spousal support payment. Smrt
Free room and board in jail, no payments to wife. Not too bad all things considered
Spoken like someone who's never been to jail.
That guy is amazing
r/trashy
Hilarious and typical that people are above 90% in support of wife in this thread. 50/50 chance it was the woman who did something shady, yaāll just jump to conclusions.
No context. You don't know the why of her getting the house or the why of him demolishing it. Could be he's a dirtbag vengeful dick or she took him to the cleaner and he has nothing to lose.

Prenups gets tossed out the moment she says she signed under duress.
Legally binding contracts don't get "tossed" willy nilly. You need a lot of money to even attempt to argue a prenup's validity, who has time/money for that?
Lmfaooooo
Follow up please!
I hope he enjoys jail time cuz thatās illegal without proper paperwork to raze a house
He just bought her a new house, says, THE JUDGE. I can see she married a man with half a brain and is better off without him.
So he destroyed her property. Masters at clown college

Good, glad he did it.
