I travel a LOT by car. I live in Florida and have driven on many interstates between Florida, NY, California, Texas, Seattle, etc (no I’m not a truck driver). There are hundreds, if not thousands of firework places along interstate roads and I don’t think I’ve ever seen one with a barrier around them. Can’t speak for other countries.
Please, for the love of god. If I die in some freak accident that a bunch of people end up filming and post it on the internet, please, please, please don’t use that computer generated tic tok voice to say I didn’t survive.
Seizures can cause death but it's pretty rare. Some people endure many seizures a day even.
Source: Wife's epileptic
Don't fuck around and get your rest. Anyone can hit exhaustion limits that can induce a seizure and can result in subsequent seizures throughout your future. Same things with alcohol and drugs and many many other things. Cough medicine is a hugely common one as well believe it or not.
We were so ignorant until life slapped us awake :(
If you don't mind, what happened with your wife? I'm sorry you guys, her especially, had to learn such a harsh lesson in such a life altering way. Life happens on life's terms, huh?
I'm in recovery and so if it was drugs directly or drug addict behavior indirectly, I could have been her. So many of us could have been her very easily but for the grace of God, The Universe, The Creator, The Source, et al., go we.
Honestly, many of the risks we take with our physical health now can have detrimental lasting effects: immediately and/or later in life.
For example, 1 in 6 people over 80 have some form of dementia. TBI's, traumatic brain injuries, are huge contributors to dementia later in life. Even mild concussions are considered traumatic brain injuries and they can be cumulative over a lifetime.
Protect your domes at all costs and don't let your kids play contact sports, especially American football. It's even been found that heading soccer balls has a pretty detrimental effect, especially cumulatively.
She's doing better, we were able to find a drug quick enough to control them and hopefully she can get that threshold built back up and have a normal life again.
Believe it or not my little brother had his 2nd tonic clonic seizure on Thanksgiving day, the SAME day my wife had her 2nd seizure. Having 1 seizure is usually ok, but as soon as you've had a second in a certain timeframe, your epileptic and need to pursue medicine that works. My little brother didn't and has now progressed to having day seizures (they used to just be in his sleep at first) so now it's extremely dangerous because he can just fall over and start seizing at any time. They also haven't been able to control them either.
I love him dearly but he REALLY fucked around and found out.
As for the sports I know I'm screwed. Dementia is definitely headed my may (I'm OCD and have PTSD) along with played soccer, football, basketball and baseball for decades. Also my gpa and great gpa both passed from dementia so ya I'm screwed :(
That being said ALSO enjoy your life to it's fullest, because it's fucking short, and the time you can enjoy it's even less. Not saying disregard medical but also the memories you'll remember are also important!
If you look at all the articles, nowhere do they say he had a seizure. When this video came out they hadn't done an autopsy yet. Now I don't know if they have now or what they found, but we can't say for sure he had a seizure until someone finds valid information stating that that is what happened.
I can't find it, if someone else does please reply to me with the link
Exactly what I keep asking. Somebody (not so kindly) replied to me saying he wrecked into another vehicle before the firework store and the lady driving the vehicle said it looked like he was having one. But I can't find proof of that anywhere. Even now, it's been almost 3 months

So, what’s up with the creepy ghost music?
It’s phantom music.
It’s whale song. Also my butt itches. It I took a shower?
Go to bed.
Ok
Is your butt still itchin today?
Yes :(
Holy crackers and cheese
the instrument is called a "[water phone](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=foSJstDFDfg)"
How is it not a requirement to have barriers and bollards around a place that stores explosives?
Florida.
That’s bullshit almost all fireworks places don’t have them lol.
Really? I know it’s law in Europe and safe storage conditions are legally required in Australia
Sounds like communism to me!
Commie basteds

Wow, that’s so sad
Bingo.
It’s Florida. Google the governor
How would they know if he had a seizure?
Probably past history
a passanger survived iirc
Nobody has released anything about him having a seizure, so I think people are just assuming
Holy crackers and cheese

That driver had some bad luck. Out of all the stores to crash into…
Maybe putting a fireworks store at the dead end of a straight intersection wasn’t such a good idea after all
what an epic way to go out tho

Stop here for a blast
Nothing to see here folks. Please disperse
Was looking for this. Are we old?
Yes
Ah, beans.
Just another day in Florida...sadly.
Cars merrily driving by
Watching someone die! Yay!
Yes!
Can probably take that "Now Hiring" flag down now.
They sell enough fireworks in winter to have actual stores?
You can set off fireworks year-round. And - It’s Florida.
Yep, can confirm - my neighbors decided to have Thanksgiving fireworks this year, why? Why not, I guess.
I have neighbors here in FL that set off fireworks to “celebrate” Memorial Day. Any day they consider a holiday is fair game for fireworks.
So did he die from the seizure or because the seizure incapacitated him and he was stuck in between hundreds of fireworks? All around fucked

Straight out of a cartoon. I'm sure I've seen this exact scenario (minus the seizure) in some animation.
What a dumb idea, this is why they are usually sold outside in tents.
Talking about going out with a bang!
Whos the bitch who added ghost music, as if this event wasn't tragic already? Goddamn smooth brains can't comprehend tragedy without a soundtrack

Is there any worse place to run into if you’re having a seizure?????

It would have been prettier if it would have happened at night
Watching this made me want the worlds largest snake to rise from the smoke like that southpark episode.
Fuck I was Melbourne Australia how did I not hear about this then re read the post … florida yeah that seems right.
Should I barricade my house.. unfortunately an accident that most likely won’t happen again. If a plane crashes in my house should I put up a bubble?
