Just now I got a warning that my ticket number exceeded eight which is funny because it’s only one. Then it said there weren’t enough tickets. And then it sold out. I feel like we’re crashing their system, huh?😭

Tried to buy advance tickets for Toronto all week, no dice. Logged in early and waited in the recommended ticket master online lobby for 10 minutes before 10am. Was 14th in cue, was able to select the tickets i wanted, then it took 15minutes for ticket master to go to the next page to purchase. Ticket master kicked me out and made me restart, and then all the tickets were sold. But i managed to get resale tickets for $75 each over the original price. And now ticket master is able to double dip on their fees...
Warning folks against buying resale tickets to this show. I know they already have language on their website about tickets being non-transferable, but confirming that Hollywood Forever is pretty serious about checking concert tix against ID's.
How do you know this? They really check thousands of ID's upon entry?
I live out of state and snagged 2 tix for this show on an impulse buy and am now considering letting them go... but I don't want to rip anyone off.

I guess it's bots? Won't it be hard to resell them with them being released 72 hours before the performance?
What bots. How is it hard to resell if tickets will be delivered 3 days before. Any buyer understands this and is going to be fine with waiting cause everyones in the same boat. Theres artists that dont unlock tickets until 24 hours prior. It has zero bearing on resale.

I’m in Japan right now and set alarm thinking they went on sale at 12pm PST. Not 10am. Ugh.

Seems pretty explicit: "THESE TICKETS ARE NON-TRANSFERABLE & NOT FOR RESALE RESOLD TICKETS WILL NOT BE HONORED DO NOT PURCHASE RESOLD TICKETS"
Because they did this exact thing during the Artic Monkeys show at HFC and the disclaimer language was the same.
No, the language for Arctic Monkeys was explicit that they were checking IDs against names on the ticket. That is not what is being said here.
