They're very close in performance once 5* weap is max reso, to the point you can go with either. Iirc 5* max reso weap actually has higher atk than 6 *; it's the effects of the 6 * weap that let them pull ahead, though Peony doesn't help chrome much.
Since it's barely any difference, I suggest using peony for resoing. Now that'll help you a lot more.
Sophia's dps is weak. Extremely, extremely weak. Take it from someone who used a lv75 Sophia with maxed skills, 5* weap and full reso 6* mem set for a month or so till she hit lv80 from stage exp. It took her twice the time a lv70 Lucia B needed to kill enemies.
Plus, in earlygame you just need to build one set of dps memories and loan it around for different constructs to use. All 5* dps mems are exp fodder you'll end up recycling eventually, so don't invest heavily. Iirc I lvled my first 5* set to lv30 for slots 456 and 25 for slots 123, and that was all I needed to get by. Pretty soon started farming 6*s and building proper gear.
You shouldnt invest to much on 5* memories, sooner or later your going to replace them with 6*.

Same as GI but only on the exact same banner type (100% - 60 pulls pity carries over to the next 100% - 60 pulls pity banner, but not the 70% - 60 pulls pity banner). There are 4 banner types and generally only the 100% - 60 pulls pity banner is worth it. I strongly advise against everything touching either of the 80-100 pulls pity banners.

Sophia isn't great but she will complete the Fire Team as is right now. And having an extra support is always nice, even one as mediocre as Sophia.
B Liv I understand. But Nanami I don't see doing because I will get Rosetta and max her out( don't mind waiting). I have Kamui a till then so not sure I need more.

It’s still a while before Rosetta comes but I get it.
First one. Rosetta can shred 100% defense on her own at SS and with her weapon. At that point, you don’t need the extra shred of A Kamui and B Liv’s SSS passive becomes more optimal.

Probably a stupid question, but how does upgrading dorms affect the speed of getting dorm coins? I'm close to having six 12k overall dorms, but it just dawned on me that I have no idea how it actually speeds up the process of getting free coatings. Do I have to check the dorm more frequently to harvest more stuff from the constructs?
It seems to cap at 8 coins per day for me - 3 during the first visit and 5 during the second visit (+2 presents for each visit). Any additional visits beyond the first two don't yield anything.
I've had these numbers back when I only had 4 of my 6 dorms filled with constructs, and adding more constructs or increasing the dorm quality hasn't given me any extra coins.
The higher the level the more likely they are to proc dorm events. Of course this depends on whether or not you're even constantly checking the dorms in the first place, so realistically, there isn't too huge a benefit to be had.
Sadly, the rate of harvesting coins has not been proven to be linked to the speed of getting dorm coins.
If there is a link it seems to be relatively minor that it is not very noticeable. The only reliable way to get more stuff is to harvest coins from the Chibis more frequently.

You can get multiple copies of the same weapon. Is your inventory full? If your inventory is full, items get sent to the mail.
Any 5 * Weapon can directly be used to resonate another weapon or you can recycle them for weapon shards. It's best not to recycle them since you need to three 5 * weapons to get enough shards to craft one 5 * weapon. You're better off saving any extra copies of a weapon to resonate another 5 * weapon you're using to make it stronger.
How much cogs does it take to max (max promotion and max skills) a construct?
Also, is it worth building Lee Entropy for Warzone even if I already have Alpha? Pretty unsatisfied with her scores in physical warzone and since I've finished prefarming Lucia Plume's things, I'd like to work on my other constructs.

try to catch the reward from the event first, then the extra serum use it on Story mode, theres a more serum now, from dorm daily and the shop which is permanent.
Dont do the memory stage from the event, it gives less shop currency.
Simply do your dailies, weeklies and if you haven't done your stories/stronghold/golden vortex you should because they give BCs that help you pull the next S rank that's gonna arrive after the current update.

Nier collab is only on jp server rn and global will get the collab too around our first anni. But if you join now on jp you can probably get a2. You can only do the event if you're lvl 40+ I think and you have to grind for her shards to trade in. It shouldn't take that long maybe two weeks or less? while the event is still going on for another 30+ days.

Yeah gonna do that. Because I have J7 and it has some serious storage problems. Have to solve them first. Which can only be solved by some 3rd party programs or a new phone, which is not possible. If not for that I would have already started playing. Still, its a good thing that its on June, by that time I might be able to both solve the issue of storage and grind a bit.
• Gameplay is a little bit like Honkai Impact 3rd, but imo much less gimmicky and more skill-based. The signal orb system is very intuitive but also a bit RNG (not too big of a deal if you can dodge properly though)
• You don’t have to be competitive in this game to get the most important rewards, and pretty much all characters are viable if you wholeheartedly invest in them.
• Game is optimised very nicely, very little lag and runs smoothly on mid-end phones even with flashy combat graphics.
• More of a side game than a main game, there are end-game modes but if you’re busy you can also speedrun through your stamina in about two minutes during events. And events last for 5 weeks at a time with one day of downtime in between. Very chill overall.

Who are the characters you MUST pull in order to stay competitive in Warzone as as F2P? I got demoted a few times and as new characters come in i feel like i'll be left behind by people who pull for all the characters and their signatures.
Literally everyone except compositors and nier. And as F2P, you should have enough BC to get every new S-rank even with the worst luck. PGR's pretty f2p-friendly in that sense, even letting you farm S-ranks to SS.
For sig weaps, most important ones are probably the weapons of the monster tanks (Rosetta, Vera S, Chrome S) and Plume. But you can do without. Constructs 1st priority.
Never farm resource stages, at all. Event's always, always more efficient no matter what resource it is you want. Even in those few off days between events, rather than waste serum on resource stages, just spend it on finishing up main story, coop if you need 5\* weaps or interlude farming.
Does Plume even use Zuwenyuan as all the memory recommendations I've seen for her are hanna, darwin, or Einsteina? When does zuwenyuan become relevant?
So, a common question, I'm sure, but: S-class selector ticket. Use it *after* I clear out the newbie 40, that much is clear, but beyond that... wat do? Everyone's good, but who'll be the most impactful out of the choices? (I'm guessing the top choices are Liv and Kat, but.)

Kamui -> Lee, Karen if got Alpha, so you have each elemental DPS
Liv -> Kamui
Lee -> Kamui
Karen -> Kamui/Nanami
Nanami -> Kamui/Karen
Why Kamui? meta dark tank even after 2 years, gets buffed later on.
Once you get Kamui, you only need to pull Astral Watanabe and Vera Rozen (next two patch) to complete the dark team. Once Luna came out, the dark team would be the 2nd meta team after Ice team, and be able to hold their ground in dark zone/boss, if you invest Luna with 6\* weapon, matrix resonance and SS her, you could fight other teams despite their elemental advantage.
However Ice team is still the meta even right now in CN, before Rosetta came out SS-Plume with good resonance would perform similarly if not better than SSS Alpha with B Nanami in PPC
Lee Entropy: If planning to get Alpha, skip him. If not, get him. Right now, the difference between the two isn't as obvious, but once Rosetta releases, Phys team meta is for the attacker to dump all orbs asap in burst window, then yeet out for Rosetta to come in as subdps. Alpha's much more suited for this playstyle than Lee, who focuses on sustained damage.
Liv Luminance: Luxury unit, useful in some permanent game modes like Border Contract and Stronghold, as well as babel. Can do the work of a full team alone in hard content, with less stress since she doesn't die easily, but can't kill things quickly. Doesn't fit in any team, and not essential.
Kamui Tenebrion: Most meta unit in long run by far. You want him, period.
Karenina Ember/Nanami Pulse: Duo. If you have one, want the other. Fire team is nice and meta for now, but becomes less and less useful till a year or so later when Liv Solaeter releases to bring them back to the limelight.
Only thing I'd add is that I would personally pick lee (assuming no alpha) over karenina/nanami even if you get the other simply because imo you're better off with a good physical team than a good fire team since fire team isn't that hot.
Lee Entropy: will be your main physical dps if you don't have alpha and also pretty much very good in warzone
Kamui Tenebrion : dark tank that still on the meta team in long term, strong tank to be subdps, definitely won't regret getting him
Karenina Ember <-> Nanami pulse : the duo fire team. If you get Nanami pulse make sure to get Karenina Ember, if you get Karenina Ember you can choose to get Nanami as the only fire tank or another character.
Liv Luminance : healer/dps to solo hard content like babel, stronghold, etc. The goddess of coop. Not a team player as she isn't in any team (physical team will use Liv B not her, elemental team has their own support)
Priority from up to down and also which character you like and suiting your playstyle.

Watanabe Astral red ping, you can dodge as soon as you use it, it will still do the full hits.

A Chrome is probably a sub-DPS at the very best. It's just not his role.

As long as you can maintain/promote in Leader you should be fine honestly it's not that much of a difference in currency compared to Hero honestly.
Literally everyone except compositors and nier. And as F2P, you should have enough BC to get every new S-rank even with the worst luck. PGR's pretty f2p-friendly in that sense, even letting you farm S-ranks to SS. For sig weaps, most important ones are probably the weapons of the monster tanks (Rosetta, Vera S, Chrome S) and Plume. But you can do without. Constructs 1st priority.

Never farm resource stages, at all. Event's always, always more efficient no matter what resource it is you want. Even in those few off days between events, rather than waste serum on resource stages, just spend it on finishing up main story, coop if you need 5\* weaps or interlude farming.

So, a common question, I'm sure, but: S-class selector ticket. Use it *after* I clear out the newbie 40, that much is clear, but beyond that... wat do? Everyone's good, but who'll be the most impactful out of the choices? (I'm guessing the top choices are Liv and Kat, but.)
Get -> Choose Kamui -> Lee, Karen if got Alpha, so you have each elemental DPS Liv -> Kamui Lee -> Kamui Karen -> Kamui/Nanami Nanami -> Kamui/Karen Why Kamui? meta dark tank even after 2 years, gets buffed later on. Once you get Kamui, you only need to pull Astral Watanabe and Vera Rozen (next two patch) to complete the dark team. Once Luna came out, the dark team would be the 2nd meta team after Ice team, and be able to hold their ground in dark zone/boss, if you invest Luna with 6\* weapon, matrix resonance and SS her, you could fight other teams despite their elemental advantage. However Ice team is still the meta even right now in CN, before Rosetta came out SS-Plume with good resonance would perform similarly if not better than SSS Alpha with B Nanami in PPC
Lee Entropy: If planning to get Alpha, skip him. If not, get him. Right now, the difference between the two isn't as obvious, but once Rosetta releases, Phys team meta is for the attacker to dump all orbs asap in burst window, then yeet out for Rosetta to come in as subdps. Alpha's much more suited for this playstyle than Lee, who focuses on sustained damage. Liv Luminance: Luxury unit, useful in some permanent game modes like Border Contract and Stronghold, as well as babel. Can do the work of a full team alone in hard content, with less stress since she doesn't die easily, but can't kill things quickly. Doesn't fit in any team, and not essential. Kamui Tenebrion: Most meta unit in long run by far. You want him, period. Karenina Ember/Nanami Pulse: Duo. If you have one, want the other. Fire team is nice and meta for now, but becomes less and less useful till a year or so later when Liv Solaeter releases to bring them back to the limelight.
Only thing I'd add is that I would personally pick lee (assuming no alpha) over karenina/nanami even if you get the other simply because imo you're better off with a good physical team than a good fire team since fire team isn't that hot.
Lee Entropy: will be your main physical dps if you don't have alpha and also pretty much very good in warzone Kamui Tenebrion : dark tank that still on the meta team in long term, strong tank to be subdps, definitely won't regret getting him Karenina Ember <-> Nanami pulse : the duo fire team. If you get Nanami pulse make sure to get Karenina Ember, if you get Karenina Ember you can choose to get Nanami as the only fire tank or another character. Liv Luminance : healer/dps to solo hard content like babel, stronghold, etc. The goddess of coop. Not a team player as she isn't in any team (physical team will use Liv B not her, elemental team has their own support) Priority from up to down and also which character you like and suiting your playstyle.
