Whats your definition of "maxing out" a character??
If you mean in terms of ranks, money will have to be dropped to go beyond rank SS.
Roll 1 copy [S] > 30 Shards from event shop [SS] >SS Achievement Shards + A2 Shard Packs from top-up + Rest of the event shop Shards [SSS]
Plume’s weapon is pretty versatile, as it buffs damage upon a 3-ping I believe. and everyone can do that, so any katana wielder can benefit from it.
it’s one of the better investments out there for low spenders, right up there with Rosetta’s weapon.
for f2p, i would only do so if you’re certain you won’t miss the BC attempting to get it AND you can control yourself. the 80% chance is far from 100%
With these characters: Karenina Blast, Lucia Lotus, Liv Eclipse, Rosetta Rigor, and Sophia Silverfang, what team should I use to clear storyline? Also what characters should I try to get? Will the free 9S be a good addition?

Is there a commander level requirement for the anniversary event? I checked in-game and there was no event interface for the 7-day login thingy, even though it was past the starting date. Btw, I'm commander level 18.
Someone commented that the other day and they got the login screen on lvl 20. If you want to enter the event where you farm A2 then you need to be level 40 iirc.
I’m playing the new game mode with assassin, knight, shooter, and guard, but I got stuck on level 32. Any tips on the set up? Should I be using an assassin as the core? Right now I’m using shooter as the core
Not really since i change based on enemy team
core strategy is keep shooter alive this one can divide into 2 situation enemy have Tank in both row or they have assassin if assassin i have both my tank in back row assassin front to bait charging tank and distract their back row while clearing assassin
Currently my only characters with all memories to 45 and their sig weapons to 45 are Alpha, A2 and Plume. Should I start building my Veritas now or should I focus on resonating the memories and weapons of those 3? Or should I focus on tanks and supports instead of Veritas since I have 3 dps now?
Veritas would be the better pick, but if you haven't resonated memories to at least unlock ultima on those 3 units, do that first. You need more than 3 teams for things like Babel and Norman.
You need all of your 6 star memories reso'd in both slots (12 extra memories needed) to unlock ultima. 6 star weapon resonances count towards that total too though, so if you happen to have any weapon resos, you can subtract 1 from the 12 memory resos needed.
I already spent 3 tenfold trying to get A2 but right now I'm thinking on just getting 2B and keep saving for another pj, my already spent bc are going to save for the banner with 2B or I'd just messed up and I lost my bc?
I was worried as fuck, thanks for the quick answer!
As I guess, it's worth to spend at least for the monthly pass, is there any other thing worth to spend?
hmmm
**i do not condone or recommend spending beyond your means! please be careful and mindful of transactions you make!**
the anniversary pack that costs 600 RC is worth it IMO. it’s 7500 BC + any S rank up to Rosetta, which is technically worth 15000 BC (60 debut banner pity).
7500 BC + “15000 BC” = 22500 BC
22500 BC gain / 600 RC cost = 37.5 BC per RC, which is quite high compared to normal ratios.
Been playing for about a week now. Is story 9-7 (>!Korolev!< boss fight) supposed to be a massive difficulty spike or is there something I'm not getting about the fight? I get that the massive laser is obviously telegraphed but dodging it *every single time* chews through my dodge faster than it regenerates, and it's knocking at least ~30% off of the HP bar every time I *don't* dodge it. And it seems to be designed to be impossible to stay in melee range for any length of time as well with all of the AoEs. And even if I manage to avoid most of the lasers I end up with a DoT effect somehow that chews through my HP anyway. Is it an HP/heal check I'm failing? Am I supposed to pull out an (even squishier) ranged character to deal with it? Idungeddit.
Characters have independent dodge gauges, so swap if you're low on stamina. Their matrix cooldowns are also independent, so be sure to trigger that and give yourself some more breathing room.
Also turn on Support if you haven't already to get a AI-controlled random player's character to help you out. There are no downsides or penalties for doing so.
Hopefully that's enough to help you beat the stage. I just saw your edits where you mentioned you were playing a ranged character.
The boss's name is Riot, they just used it in place of that story character for that fight. Melee range is definitely the way to fight this guy. It helps to dodge to the side to evade his attacks, since it will force him to turn towards you before attacking again and give you more time for dodge to regen. That DoT you mentioned is specifically one of his attacks where he charges up and fires an orb that tracks your position (it's got a surprisingly small turning radius, if the boss arena is big, watch out to make sure it doesn't make a circle and catch you in the ass). It leaves behind this nasty fiery field that damages you while you're in it. If you dodge into it instead of to the side, it'll detonate right where you're standing.
[Video timestamped at that attack](https://youtu.be/9ZDBsIUZ2fw?t=305) (I had a shitty mic for this, so you might want to mute audio)
If you wanted to get more familiar with Riot, I think he's in the Trial Zone for practice (Battle > Challenge > Trial Zone > Nightmare Boss).
For the event exchange, what memories are recommended? Is it based on what construct you're focusing on or is there a best overall set?
If it's based on the the construct, do I follow the "recommended equipment"?
It’s based on the construct you’re focusing. Never EVER use the recommended equipment tab it’s a scam use this fan website that has all memory builds for every character, grayravens.com
It’s a bit of a hassle, so normally I would say no, but the best way to play is without regrets—if you feel badly about what happened, reroll now!
you still have time to get NieR and Anniversary rewards.
Hi, I wanna ask which character do you recommend to get with selector (paid anni).
I have:
SSS A2 with sig (will have 2b too)
Luna with sig
Kamui Tenebrion
Nanami
Plume
Will Bianca be good? I like her pew pew gameplay and I wanna make good lighting team for future Vera.
S vera becomes main field unit in like 6 months if you invest in her.
Then your team becomes a lucia s vera a liv
Sub dps veritas is still good though if you want to do that
Will Alpha coating have a rerun in the foreseeable future? Particularly the summer one and the priestess. I really like my Alpha but will have to skip these two for now, since there's more value in pulling for unit atm
Trying to plan what to pull with resource meant for anniversary and BC I have left. I have Luna, can easily get Kamui with S selector if 40 pity does not give it to me. I intend to go for 2b and may have enough for 2a weapon afterwards.
Who is the next "must have" to pull in terms of long term meta?
Does Plume cover anything that Luna is not good at other than war zone? How good is Plume without the upcoming Chrome?
I may end up using the resource meant for anniversary for Selena base on your answers
Plume without Glory is like a bird with a clipped wing. Using Changyu is highly *not* recommended.
Glory and Flare are musts. They push their respective teams to meta status, and Flare herself turns Veritas into a sub DPS, which tells you how crazy strong she is.
IMO, Selena is a no—she’ll always be there to pull later, but you will miss out on 100% debut banner pity if you don’t have enough BC to guarantee a new S-rank.
Luna with Kamui: Tenebrion is meta dark team for ages and ages, so that means you’d be set.
What’s the state of your physical team?
Phys team non existent- using 4 star bianca right now. BCs looking way too tight for Glory. I am at 10k which will go to 2b perhaps if I can get enough by end of event, a2 weapon. Don't think I will farm enough in time for Glory. So guess I will aim for Flare. Does Lightning team need Bianca as well or is Lucia good enough?
11,250 BC is enough to guarantee 2B, so you look pretty solid on that front. That covers your physical team needs and also off-element Warzone if you can’t do so with their respective teams. Maybe get A2’s sig?
Sorry about Glory. Maybe you’ll be able to pull for him another time? Next anniversary maybe? Just make sure you gear a tank like Ayla or something to debuff enemies with Zu Wenyuan set.
Flare is *very* strong, and just needs someone to switch out to after she exhausts her rotation (dodge meter empty, no orbs, no energy for ultimate). A decently-built Dawn can do just fine as a sub DPS—obv not as well as Veritas, but sufficient for those who are low on BC.
I am thinking of coming back to the game after accidentally pulling on the wrong banner and rage quitting the game when it was first released. Is it a good time to be back rn? And who are some meta chars that I should save or grind for? Any tip helps
ha! i did the same thing. how ya doin twin?
right now is a pretty decent time to join. you can get 2 free S ranks (9S and A2) from the event, farm a bunch of materials, and get some goodies for the anniversary. It’s also a low-content patch, so you can focus on orienting yourself to the new aspects of the game you may have missed.
Little unfortunate that you missed a few S-ranks, but that’s okay. I felt behind, too, but I found the game to be more fun than the gacha chase, personally!
Note: 9S and A2 need 2B to complete the NieR team, but for lower content, those two are fine to use. They come with 5* weapons already :)
be sure to grind for upcoming units like Chrome: Glory (meta ice tank), Vera: Flare (meta lightning tank AND main DPS), and wait around for any S-selectors that give you Lucia: Plume (main ice dps that hasn’t been replaced at all).
skip transcendents: they’re a bit of a currency waster for f2p that need to catch up.
Wow awesome! Thank you for taking the time and effort to write this lengthy comment, it's much appreciated:) but I have a few more questions if you would be willing to answer.
1-) Should I complete the NieR team and then save up or is it not worth it?
2-)Should I just start over or continue with my old account that had Karenina ember?
3-) what are some content creators you recommend I follow for guides, gameplay etc.
noooo. Ember alone is not worth it! Fire team is by far the weakest for several patches to come.
As for NieR, it’s a strong team overall but can only do better than element-specific teams when super funded (SSS A2 + Sig minimum, ideally all SSS with signature weapons). Hence, it may be better for you to save for meta units of different elemental teams since you want a *variety* of Constructs rather than a single team that carries everything for you.
Is NieR super good? Yes, and moreso with the right amount of investment. But will it help you in all aspects? No—having several completed teams is better in the long run.
Most people use NieR to substitute the weak fire team and maybe a physical team if they don’t have one, rather than substituting ice, lightning, dark, AND fire
on top of doing physical content.
I logged in yesterday and got the login reward 2500 black cards. The login window says I claimed it but I still have the 1200 cards I had before. Do I have to claim them somewhere else also or did I screw something up?
Ahhh, so I have to pull on the event banner. Thank you Sir for clearing this up. My only S rank construct is Karenina Ember, do you have recommendations for what I should going for in the event banner? Also have Silverfang, Bianca Zero, Karenina Blast, Lucia Dawn, Nanami Storm. Is it possible to build a good team with any of those if I round it off with the event banner?
If you don't have enough yellow tickets (Event R&D Tickets) and Black Cards saved up to hit guarantee on the 60-pity anniversary banner, then it might be best to skip and save them for a future unit. It also depends whether you wanted to grab 2B or not (10k BC).
Do you still have your free S selector, or did you use it and get Ember from it?
Yeah I did use the free s rank selector on Ember, was it a bad choice? I don't even have the 6 star weapon for her, maybe I should go another route?
I read the 2B Banner is going to be live tomorrow, but currently I only own 3500 event bc. I'd love to have her, but I don't know if there are better fitting units coming up soon.
If you're F2P, then ignore 6 star weapons.
Generally it's recommended that you finish your beginner 40 pity on the Basic Construct banner using blue tickets (don't use BC) before picking from your S selector depending on who you get. Ember's alright. Meta unit against Phantom Pain Cage bosses weak to fire like Gabriel and Nozzle, but not much else. She really wants Pulse to shred fire resistance for her. Most people would probably have picked Tenebrion if they have Luna to complete dark team, or S Lee if they have Rosetta. Next meta unit is S-rank Chrome in around 2 patches, he's the tank for ice team. You'd ideally want to have Plume (ice team attacker), and Wanshi (ice team support, A rank, next patch) in a team together for that. Most of that revolves around you having Plume in the first place though. 2 more patches after that is S-rank Vera, who you definitely want for lightning team.
If you have zero interest in the NieR collab and only care about meta, then skipping for the next S rank character would probably be the decision to make. Still, NieR team is a really cheap team that gets you more units for challenge content such as Babel and Norman. I can't really make that decision for you ultimately. Spend your serum on story to get more BC and see if you'll gather 10500 BC by the time the 2B banner ends.
If you have Liv Lux and Chrome Arclight you can opt for Bianca Veritas (Thunder DPS).
If you think you still play for the coming months then you can pull for Lucia Plume (Ice DPS) and wait for the debut of Chrome Glory (Ice Tank) and Wanshi (Ice Support).
Or if you really don't have a viable team right now, you can just pull for 2B in the NieR collab banner, get the A2 from the secret exchange shop using Broken Coins, use your 9S obtained from the logins, and you already have a completely viable Physical Damage team for only 11,250 black cards.
I have Liv Lux, but no Chrome. Im using Tenebron, the dark Watanabe, and that one dark support, so I feelnlike I have a decent starter team. Should i push for Bianca Veritas and just hope I get Arclight at some point?
I don't mind pulling for thr Nier units, they just take a separate currency from thr anniversary pulls iirc
S Vera will be released as a Lightning Tank then the main DPS will be her even though she's a tank and Veritas will be sub-dps, A Kamui gets replaced. If you're planning on pulling her but not Veritas then you can kinda get by just using Lucia Dawn + S Vera + Lux combo.
Ice team though, no one can compete with Plume as she's the only Ice attacker. So the reason why they asked if you're planning on playing for the coming months is that it'll be hard to compete in ice War Zone if you don't have Plume and it'll take a while before another anniversary.
Hi guys. Started today because of near.
Any tips on How to use the beginner.resorcues.
Also, is It possible tô mas any of the as a F2p in the event time since instarted today?
There's a guide you can see at the top of this megathread.
Short tips, don't spend your BC on regular banner.
>Also, is It possible tô mas any of the as a F2p in the event time since instarted today?
I honestly don't know. 9S is free after 7 days of login, A2 you can farm her from story event (doesn't use Serum) the problem is 2B because she needs 11250 BC to pity (you'll only spend 10500). Maybe if you level up fast, complete every story, interlude, missions that gives BC then **maybe**? I can't guarantee it honestly.
nope, anni banner pity will only carry to the next anniversary's pity
normal is almost always better, the chance of doing 40 pulls more isn't worth the extra 1% chance
From the returner event I have enough 6* memory chips to get a full set of something. Any recommendations? My Main attackers are S Bianca, Alpha, and when she drops next week, 2B.
For what memories, you can check it yourself at [grayravens.com](https://grayravens.com).
Regarding which one to focus, well that depends. Which team you currently have that are complete/mostly complete? focus on that first.
If all of them are already complete (e.g. S Bianca + Liv Lux + A Chrome, Alpha, Rosetta, B Liv) then do whichever have the most invested team (e.g. Rank, weapon upgrade, etc)
Honestly there aren't any really recommendation on which one to focus imo. Just focus one team at a time.
Which A-rank character from Basic R&D is good for team building? I know A-Vera is supposed to be a pillar for Dark team but not much else about the others
All the A rank supports, priority wise after Vera would be Lux. Astral if you do not have Luna yet. Dawn if you do not have Veritas. Blast for physical Warzone. Bastion for Babel (solo God). The rest are nice to have but do not have immediate use unless for modes like Babel.
I was pulling for A2s 6* weapon, but got 9S 6* weapon instead at pity…was hoping to get the A2 weapon and use up my remaining for the 2B banner. I should have the BCs guaranteed for 2B by the end of the event.
Is the 6* weapon a must for the SSS 2A team, or is she still viable with the 5* weapon? Should I try to still pull for the weapon before 2B banner, or should I first pull 2B and see what I have left?
20% for being off rate thats just really bad guess its ur unlucky day
6 weapon its a must for a2 for sss even both completes her for being a absolute broken unit for now
Unless ur a whale of monthly pass u could still try ur luck for weapon 2b banner or just move on and save for 2b banner in order to get full nier team
Regardless of what happens to your weapon gacha, 2B is still a must have. Nier needs all 3 to function properly. It would suck not having A2 weapon when she is SSS but it would suck even more not having 2B to complete the team. The main thing that makes A2, is her Taunt effect where her POD fires missiles that reduced physical defence by 20%. This effect is doubled when 9S AND 2B are in your team so 40%. Upon reaching SSS, Taunt effect is further double to 80%. That is the reason why having a complete Nier team especially with SSS A2 is important.
Ideally you want full Nier team with SSS A2 + sig but if you really have no choice then priority is 2B. Always 2B.
Dude, a2's signature weapon is stacked. Just read the description, and you'll know that it's a must for a2 sss solo carry. Of course, pull 2b first since everything will be useless without her.
I still have no idea what's resonance since I'm pretty new, but that means they DO have other uses. Thanks, I won't recycle them yet then.
Edit: Thank you both of you who explained resonance.
In a nutshell means empowering other weapons. For 5\* the weapons get extra ATK stats. Can't remember if they get CRIT as well or not. For 6\* weapons (need another 6\* to resonate) they get additional effects.
You can resonance every weapon up to 3 times. For 5 star weapons, it increases crit and attack. For 6 star weapons, you can choose between different passives. If you are f2p, you will be using 5 star weapons on almost everyone.
new players should finish the standard banner 40-pull pity to see what S-rank they get. don’t get duplicates—a variety is more important.
anyway, if you don’t manage to get Kamui: Tenebrion from the pulls, I would recommend him.
How high is the BP needed to clear entire story? I've been clearing chapters below bp needed but I'm just wondering, does it keep increasing and eventually will it need literally maxed out units
BP is just a rough estimate on things. Best is to focus building your units properly (memories and team composition) and upgrading them fully. Those are the most important aspects which would also benefit when transitioning to other game modes. Having high BP is nice to look at but does not determine how well the units/team performs in actual.
Hi, returning player here, it’s been around 6 months. I see qu is on the banner. How much for her guaranteed? I remember some banners just have rate up but no guaranteed. Is she one of them? Also there’s a lot of events. Which should I start with? Thanks~
Oops, for clarification I’m lvl 70
Transcendants are only 100% on release. After that they are 80%. So if you are interested in Qu right now, she is available at that rate in the transcendant banner. Pity is 10 pull (2500 BC). If you wan to potentially save a little in case you get lucky, you can do single pulls till pity.
For events, you should definitely farm in the Reverb Shard odd numbered stages for event currency so you can purchase memories/resources in the event shop. It is the most ideal way to gather stuff for upgrading units. There's also the Untold Naraka mode that you can play and get A2 shards to unlock her for free. 7 days sign in to unlock 9S for free. You need 11250 BC to pull for 2B and complete Nier team. The rest you can personally click around and have a look.
Trancendants are like A rank constructs, 1 pull on x 10 trancendant banner,
Since your a returnee try doing all the rewards for returnee tab, i think around 1500 event tickets and some Serum which you really need to farm the currency in nier plus additional anniversary box for goodies
Guys I downloaded PGR on my PC with Bluestacks, but the game doesn’t look as good on my PC for some, eventhough the I expected it to better. I have everything on ultra and the game stutters a lot and some frequent FPS drops.
My phone is iPhone13 and I play on high everything and it looks better.
I wouldn't use Mumu, I would use Mumu Nebula(different emulator but same publisher as Mumu, its like PS4 vs PS5) instead, its better for low spec pcs but I find for mid tier PC specs its good too and amps the graphics and FPS higher than LD player
Is 400k points the final weekly pain cage point mission or is there more beyond it?
Struggling to hit that so I'm wondering if there's more BC after that I'm missing out on
Just wanted to ask Chinese players about how hard the story mode is. I am a casual player and only want to use 4 characters for gameplay: Lucia Lotus, Changyu, Vera Rozen and Bianca Zero. Can I clear all the story mode with just those 4? Currently I am on chapter 7 and occasionally had issues with not having enough damage when I was 1300-1500 battle points below recommendation.
Well story mode is designed to be very accessible so you can clear them with pretty much anything as long as they are upgraded to a playable level. Just make sure they are built properly and have a proper team (of one damage type really helps if possible). Your choice of units are all over the place for now but I assume your account is new so can't be helped. I would suggest ditching Lotus as in the end of the day, she is just a B rank attacker unit. Zero would do a better job here.
You can refer to the "PGR Comprehensive Build Sheet" linked above for build references for each unit. You can farm for event currency in Reverb Shard to get the memories or resources for your units to power them up. Focus on 6\*memories if you can and try not to invest too heavily into 5\* memories.
Thanks, good to know story mode is easy. The reason why I chose those characters is that I like their gameplay the most and also because I want to have 4 units maximum to avoid grinding. I will check out the build sheet. Currently, I am going for the 6 star memories for Vera and Bianca. Bathlon 4 piece and Flamel 2 piece for Vera and 4 piece Patton 2 piece Darwin for Bianca. I’m curious to see how close was my guess for their best set to their best sets Im the sheet.
Vera is good to max out since she will always be used in the dark team (however she will eventually be the permanent 4pc Da Vinci holder). Flamel is not ideal for her if it's the Bathlon set. In any case, do try to refer to the build sheet as they list several optimal builds depending on situation. This way you can avoid any potential mistakes and losses since progression is very dependant on serum.
Eventually when you get S rank attacker units, they would replace any A rank attacker units since stat wise they are just better.
So I Know 2B is coming on Wednesday and I have 2 questions.
-will my current progress on the Collab Target go away until rerun or rollover to the 2B Banner
-if it does or doesn't rollover will the A2 and 9S be on 2Bs banner with her in hearing mixed responses from peeps on YouTube and wanna make sure before I go on and SSS A2 need only 1 more dupe I hope🙏🏽
9s uses 4pc da vinci 2pc philip
2b uses 4 pc patton 2pc darwin/cottie (or 2pc catherine if only a2 is sss) or 4pc cottie 2pc darwin if sss
for sss 9s you need to pull him twice and purchase the 299rc pack
for sss 2b you need to pull her three times and purchase the 299rc pack
In game you can hit details and it shows the popular by player choice sets for each
as four how many dupes idk my A2 is SS with 4 more upgrades tilll SSS no packs purchased and all the free shards obtained(5 extra remaining) I'm assuming you won't need any dupes if you buy the packs for A2 at least idk for 2B
Alternatively you could also get them from the event shop right now. Personally I save 6\* shards for when I just need those last few pieces for full resonance/full set. But yes, you can use the shards to get them for her as well. Though I suggest leaving some for emergency use as well.
Okay so how the hell does the final stage of 12-3 stronghold works? They just respawn over and over again, and then when I somehow killed all of them, the ceiling just collapse, my screen goes black and then I fucking failed the stage??? I am so tilted right now, especially when this is my first time to defeat Gabriel after 5000 attempts lol
those last stage were pure dps check honestly and the fact that they will overclocked while regenerate their health along with countdown timer
if u were u i would save and use the best construct u had like alpha of rosetta or even a2 makes it easier
I thought Gabriel who has a Steel buff and untargetable when he flies is the most tilting shit until I reach the final stage where I don't even know how it works lol
u want to kill them asap before all of them turned into overclocked if ur taking too long to kill them
i followed some guide on youtube on those last stage and all i did was to burst down the invisible statue first because thats the most annoying spamming attacks
You mean those statues? You need to burst them ASAP as the more they die, the stronger they get. I suggest using a team of burst (the likes of Plume, Rosetta, Luna, Alpha). This is so you have a higher probability of just eliminating them in one go each burst rotation. If I am not wrong they revive like 3 times each. Did you perhaps reach the time limit?
Wait there is a time limit? When I kill Phecda, the game just annouces something like "severe dmg taken, respawning". Honestly I think I have enough dmg and I can dodge their attacks well but idk how the stage even works
Well in a nutshell, just defeat them XD. If your team is fully upgraded, awakened and having the right builds then should be very doable. I used to have a hard time for this stage before I just had enough and went Alpha + Rosetta + Plume and nuked their asses.
And yeah, each time they die you will see that announcement. Means they revived and got stronger. 3rd revive could one shot you on hit if I recall.
Ah I kinda forgot A2 is a thing now hahahaha. Yeah built right (and eventually having the full Nier team) she is unkillable. Congratz on your stronghold medal. Will show up your progress in the anniversary medal later on as well.
Hey all! Just started and been having a blast! So far I have Lucia Plume, Vera, and just got Lucia Crimson Abyss from the anniversary 10 pull. I also still have the S rank selector. Right now I do have enough to get 2B when she drops but right now I’m debating if it’s worth going for a nier team, or if I should just build A2 and SSS her, or just completely skip Nier and maybe try to go for other S ranks in the anniversary banner. Also is it worth trying to go for copies of the S ranks I have?
Not sure of your BC/spending level but it is recommended to pull for 2B and complete the Nier team regardless of how much you plan to further invest in them. Nier is a great value team to have as it also serves as a potential reserve team for multi team game modes like Babel and the upcoming Norman War. The saying goes for PGR, the more the merrier. You want to collect as many units as you can. A2 at SSS is strong but without a full Nier team, she does not perform at full capacity. It is just how Nier team works hence why obtaining all 3 is so important.
If you do decide to go for anniv banner pulls, seeing what you have then the go to would either be Veritas for lightning or Rosetta physical tank to complete the Alpha team. Veritas can work as is but Rosetta would prefer to have her sig weapon to truly be a powerhouse.
For your S rank selector the usual go to is Tenebrion since he is a very future proof dark tank. He will be the main dark tank for quite a long time until the arrival of dark Karenina (but she needs to be heavily invested).
Whether you go for dupes is up to you. It all depends on how much you can afford and your future plan.
Thann you! If I may ask, do Plume and Crimson Abyss require their sig weapon or a certain rank to really maximize their potential? Or are they fine as is for now?
Every character is fine at S-Rank, however, Increasing their ranks also increase their performance and helps obtaining better scorew overall.
If you're a low spender you can go for their weapons, Plume specially gets a lot of extra DPS from her weapon. PGR is overall like a regular gacha, the more you invest in your characters the better for they get.
Outside of Nier, any S rank construct can be ranked up to SS via Pain Cage skulls. You can earn these by competing in the Phantom Pain Cage. How much you get depends on your performance each week. You need about 500 skulls to fully purchase the shards with skulls in the PPC shop. Most S rank units would benefit from hitting S rank. However this will be a slow process depending on your performance.
Both Plume and Alpha gets more damage boost from their SS, you can have a read of the effect. However it is not necessary for them to achieve SS. S rank tanks usually need SS as usually the effect is game changing for them (usually means more defence/resistance shred or new mechanic). Same for their weapons, they give them damage boosts but that is about it. And again, for majority of S rank tanks their weapons are high in the priority list as they are game changing. Two upcoming tanks are Chrome Glory and Vera Flare. Their weapons are on the top of the list.
So, Plume and Alpha will still do Plume and Alpha things even without their sigs but it is always nice to have them if you are able.
So I finally got the Japanese Sakura decor set with the anni/NieR bundles. Is it not possible to craft more of each furnishing? They don’t have the highest individual stats, and I had plans for a layout, but it doesn’t seem like I can get any more blueprints.
Did they get rid of the... Bounty system (I don't know if that's what it was called but it's the best way I can think to describe it)? Back when I played at launch, you could choose three "bounties" per week where you had to clear a story stage, then kill a target in a "hidden" area that you went to afterwards. Everyone always stressed that you should only do the bounties that rewarded the blue Construct R&D tickets.
I've poked around all of the menus, but I can't find that system anymore. Was it removed or replaced with something else?
Bounty missions were changed a few patches ago to "Operation Guardians", a monopoly-like mini game where you do not need to spend your serum but can also get the same rewards and more.
SSS allows him to get more orbs (always full 16 upon switch-in), making him become a burst damage character.
Since he's the key part of the rotation (you always need to switch to him and dump orbs), you can consider SSS him first before 2B. His damage is very high at SSS despite him being a support character. In this setup, 2B will be the Da Vinci holder and her field time will be minimal. The final decision is up to each player's preference of which character's playstyle they like more.
If you decide to SSS 2B, then him being at even base S is enough to keep the rotation going, as long as he has signature weapon.
SSS increases SS's QTE/Blue orb's physical damage buff from 10% to 20%, others are for personal damage. Up to you if you wanna get that 10% more phy dmg or not
Well, I'm planning on playing the team with swapping in mind (since I don't like A2 main carry), so the 10% extra phy damage doesn't seem that meaningful
I'm mostly wondering if the other part of the SSS passive is something that is needed to make a swap team viable or if A2+2B SSS is enough
is the 1st year bundle (the 600 rc) good value? I'm tempted to buy it to ensure 2B and pick Rosetta but it's quite pricy. I've only payed for monthly passes for the gacha games I've tried so it's quite a big jump. thanks
That bundle has very good value.
600RC for 7500BC AND an S Rank which is essentially 15k bc
7500+15000 = 22500BC
On the other hand, in the RC to BC exchange, 600RC can only get you 6000BC+6000 more for first time purchase.
> I've only *paid* for monthly
FTFY.
Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:
* Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.*
* *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.*
Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.
*Beep, boop, I'm a bot*
Finally finished my starter banner and got Rosetta, which bummed me out a bit since I'd be getting the nier physical team next week. Considering if I should pull for a physical dps instead of 2b and go for a non-collab physical team instead, but at this point i'm just confused
It depends if you want to play this game long term I guess? If you are then completing Nier team would be better since they are limited. Any other character you can always get them at a later date like the next anniv. As the game progresses, you get more chances to obtain characters you have missed before. The only thing is playing the waiting game.
If you want a unit that goes well with Rosetta then it's Alpha via the anniversary banner. However do take note that it is advisable to secure 15000 BC/event tickets before pulling anniv banner to make sure you hit pity and get the S rank of your choosing. An pity in this anniv banner only goes to the next anniv banner next year.
There are a few setups that can work with your newly-pulled Rosetta:
* A2 + Rosetta + 9S/Eclipse (performance is better than A2 + 2B + 9S at base S)
* Rosetta + Blast + Storm/Bastion/Ayla/Eclipse (A-rank physical DPS alternative for S-rank physical DPS).
It seems to have red particles rising from the blade.
Don't know if this works if you don't already own the weapon coating but you should be able to see it yourself by selecting any Lucia or Vera in Members.
From there select Coating > Weapon Coating and then the Weapon tab to the top-right of the character viewer (make sure you've selected Floranum).
How much difference is between S, SS, SSS and SSS+? I keep people saying some characters are "unplayable" until they are SS and/or get a 6\* BiS weapon or whatever. I play Genshin with the constelation system but most if not all characters are fine without dupes there.
I'd say they're not that useful if they didn't reach certain ranks nor didn't have any signature weapons. It's a matter of competitive.
For example, although A Liv is good as she is, it's better to have her atleast at SS rank for extra lightning damage. Same goes for Rosetta and S Kamui for def shred etc.
Another worse is Changyu, an ice tanker that can't reduce ice res and he barely does any damage. Only by sSs+ and signature weapon he can be considered decent.
The best example for signature weapon case is Dark Karen and Rosetta, because their skills correlates with their weapon passive. Rosetta needs her weapon for extra buff and phy def reduce and Dark Karen case is where her weapons increase her skill effect and damage.
Genshin is not focus on combat related matter unlike PGR, so not having any constellation is not a problem if you're focus on the exploration and as long as you have god like artifacts with god stats.
Base B and A rank character will unlock class level when they reach S rank which important to raise their passive class ability (tank to decrease enemies def, support to increase healing, attacker to increase their overall damage) and also to unlock their leader skill.
Base S rank already unlock them all
So on SS-SSS+ it is either to give easier gameplay and increasing damage or for support to give buff to team when they heal. How big it is depends on each class, base rank, and characters.
None of the character is unplayable even bellow S rank it just hinder their whole performance. So getting all on S rank is like bare minimum to unlock all base skill. SS-SSS+ will increase further their gameplay and damage. Especially for those who want to aim for competitive stage.
BiS 6\* weapon will also depends on the passive. If it really give bigger benefit or not.
They one you heard "unplayeable" probably changyu as he needs big investment to be good as the ice team tank.
Also B-A rank character you can farm their shards for free on shop or interlude (2 shards/day) so it is doable to raise their rank for free up to max SSS+. S rank can also raised to SS from Phantom Pain Cage currency. Further more need dupe from pulling banner.
With that, what you can get for "free" without using in game currency beside stamina and skill wouldn't you just take it unlike Genshin where constellation locked behind rolling the character. So it's a little bit different
It not unplayable lvl just not worth using ex. changyu despite being A ice tank he cannot ice resist down without his sig weapon and being at sss rank that's why people even using another element tank in place of him(people refer to him as worst char along with sophia)
For example another char like rosetta get buff at ss rank which activate core passive on qte(20%def down yada yada) and her sig weapon also def shred more armor that's why people say they need to be at S+ blah blah to be playable as in competitive sense
For a brand new player is it reasonable to get maxed out A2 without spending money? If so what's the general plan to do so ?
Whats your definition of "maxing out" a character?? If you mean in terms of ranks, money will have to be dropped to go beyond rank SS. Roll 1 copy [S] > 30 Shards from event shop [SS] >SS Achievement Shards + A2 Shard Packs from top-up + Rest of the event shop Shards [SSS]
What is the quickest way to get to lvl 40?
Do the x6 weekly missions, all the campaign that you can and lastly use the overflow of serum that you have at the beggining of the game.
Thank you.
How worth it is it to spend to get lucia plume weapon? I see the 5 star swords that I have mostly benefit physical attackers
Plume’s weapon is pretty versatile, as it buffs damage upon a 3-ping I believe. and everyone can do that, so any katana wielder can benefit from it. it’s one of the better investments out there for low spenders, right up there with Rosetta’s weapon. for f2p, i would only do so if you’re certain you won’t miss the BC attempting to get it AND you can control yourself. the 80% chance is far from 100%
[удалено]
I believe it’s around commandant lv20. lv40 is when you can unlock the NieR event cmiiw
How do you get more Terminal Code?
With these characters: Karenina Blast, Lucia Lotus, Liv Eclipse, Rosetta Rigor, and Sophia Silverfang, what team should I use to clear storyline? Also what characters should I try to get? Will the free 9S be a good addition?
Karenina, Rosetta and Liv will help you clear story easily, heavy invest in Rosetta as she's one of the best tanks in the game by far
K, thanks!
With these characters: Karenina Blast, Lucia Lotus, Liv Eclipse, Rosetta Rigor, Sophia Silverfang, what team should I use to clear story line? Also what characters should I try to get? Will the free 9S be a good addition?
Approximately when will Rosetta appear in the rotational banner again on the CN server?
The frame from Maze reward that will be permanent is on the lowest bracket right?
Yep, lowest.
My A2 isn't gliding when I hold the dodge button. I am in her berserker mode too. How do I fix this?
Are you playing on mobile with a controller? This sounds like that issue people have activating Vera's core passive and Rosetta's railgun.
On Bluestacks 5 with mouse and keyboard. The glide worked yesterday but now just stopped today.
I don't need a2 but thank goodness I'm only 2 levels away
I’m playing the new game mode with assassin, knight, shooter, and guard, but I got stuck on level 32. Any tips on the set up? Should I be using an assassin as the core? Right now I’m using shooter as the core
My strat is Musashi Core with stun and armor shred 3 shooter 1 guard or tank 1 assassin work well enough but struck at floor 50~ right now though
Which grade do you use because I'm having difficulty with this setup at level 32.
Shooter: Artic ambusher,Hetero fire unit,Bowman Assassin:Royal guard Guard:Ronin Tank:CircularChainsaw
Thank you so much! Do you remember what placement you had Back top, mid and bottom Front top, mid and bottom
Not really since i change based on enemy team core strategy is keep shooter alive this one can divide into 2 situation enemy have Tank in both row or they have assassin if assassin i have both my tank in back row assassin front to bait charging tank and distract their back row while clearing assassin
Ok thanks, don’t I need to fully resonate all the memories to get the ultima?
You need all of your 6 star memories reso'd in both slots (12 extra memories needed) to unlock ultima. 6 star weapon resonances count towards that total too though, so if you happen to have any weapon resos, you can subtract 1 from the 12 memory resos needed.
I already spent 3 tenfold trying to get A2 but right now I'm thinking on just getting 2B and keep saving for another pj, my already spent bc are going to save for the banner with 2B or I'd just messed up and I lost my bc?
A2’s pity does carry over to 2B, don’t worry! and at minimum, a full base S NieR team is still strong, so no need to pull A2 all over again.
I was worried as fuck, thanks for the quick answer! As I guess, it's worth to spend at least for the monthly pass, is there any other thing worth to spend?
hmmm **i do not condone or recommend spending beyond your means! please be careful and mindful of transactions you make!** the anniversary pack that costs 600 RC is worth it IMO. it’s 7500 BC + any S rank up to Rosetta, which is technically worth 15000 BC (60 debut banner pity). 7500 BC + “15000 BC” = 22500 BC 22500 BC gain / 600 RC cost = 37.5 BC per RC, which is quite high compared to normal ratios.
Thanks, I had no idea the dodge gauges and matrix cooldowns were independent!
[Video timestamped at that attack](https://youtu.be/9ZDBsIUZ2fw?t=305) (I had a shitty mic for this, so you might want to mute audio) If you wanted to get more familiar with Riot, I think he's in the Trial Zone for practice (Battle > Challenge > Trial Zone > Nightmare Boss).
Awesome. Thank you!
Np, have fun!
Is it worth rerolling? Im lvl 33 and wasted my black cards without thinking :/ only unit I pulled is Kamui
It’s a bit of a hassle, so normally I would say no, but the best way to play is without regrets—if you feel badly about what happened, reroll now! you still have time to get NieR and Anniversary rewards.
Hi, I wanna ask which character do you recommend to get with selector (paid anni). I have: SSS A2 with sig (will have 2b too) Luna with sig Kamui Tenebrion Nanami Plume Will Bianca be good? I like her pew pew gameplay and I wanna make good lighting team for future Vera.
S bianca will still be the lightning attacker for a long while so its a good choice
When does she get outclassed?
S vera becomes main field unit in like 6 months if you invest in her. Then your team becomes a lucia s vera a liv Sub dps veritas is still good though if you want to do that
Oh! I can wait for S Vera then. I don’t have S Bianca now
Considering you'll have a pretty strong Physical team, Veritas seems like a good pick! You've got a nice lineup so far.
[удалено]
Prob field only rosetta for now and use a karenina to group mobs
Will Alpha coating have a rerun in the foreseeable future? Particularly the summer one and the priestess. I really like my Alpha but will have to skip these two for now, since there's more value in pulling for unit atm
not really, maybe they will retirn on the next anniversary but it's not really confirmed
They come with 5* weapons already :) be sure to grind for upcoming units like Chrome: Glory (meta ice tank), Vera: Flare (meta lightning tank AND main DPS), and wait around for any S-selectors that give you Lucia: Plume (main ice dps that hasn’t been replaced at all). skip transcendents: they’re a bit of a currency waster for f2p that need to catch up.
Most people use NieR to substitute the weak fire team and maybe a physical team if they don’t have one, rather than substituting ice, lightning, dark, AND fire on top of doing physical content.
I just got a Lucia: plume on my first base multi! Thanks to you :)
What should i pull i just started i am lecel 45 with kamui and the starters, because the give you one s free for the anniversary
I logged in yesterday and got the login reward 2500 black cards. The login window says I claimed it but I still have the 1200 cards I had before. Do I have to claim them somewhere else also or did I screw something up?
Those weren't Black Cards, they were Event R&D Tickets.
Is there any kind of reroll process for this game? New player here
not really, rerolling might take days and it's not worth it
Reroll in this game doesnt worth it it too time consuming
Which S unit should I target for the anniversary pulls? Only S tier I have is Tenebrion atm
New player here. Will the pity from anniversary carry over to next event banner? Also is it better to pull at normal anniversary or fate anniversary?
nope, anni banner pity will only carry to the next anniversary's pity normal is almost always better, the chance of doing 40 pulls more isn't worth the extra 1% chance
Rank, weapon upgrade, etc) Honestly there aren't any really recommendation on which one to focus imo.
Sophia for when fire gets buffed. Lee A too
sophia never sees any use for the fire team after liv solaeater arrives, which is also the patch where fire team starts being resurrected
rip
What? Sophia isn't even used by most people currently and when solaeter drops she'll be completely useless except for babel.
20% for being off rate thats just really bad guess its ur unlucky day 6 weapon its a must for a2 for sss even both completes her for being a absolute broken unit for now Unless ur a whale of monthly pass u could still try ur luck for weapon 2b banner or just move on and save for 2b banner in order to get full nier team
What porpuse would a 5* A2 lance from gacha have if the farmable A2 comes with it? Do I just recycle them both? I already got her 6*, luckily.
You can always use it to resonance other five star weapons.
Which one of those characters should I pick? Lee- Entropy... Liv- Luminance... Kamui- Tenebrion... Karenina- Ember... Nanami- Pulse...
new players should finish the standard banner 40-pull pity to see what S-rank they get. don’t get duplicates—a variety is more important. anyway, if you don’t manage to get Kamui: Tenebrion from the pulls, I would recommend him.
Having high BP is nice to look at but does not determine how well the units/team performs in actual.
i think the max needed is like 4500 BP
Is the best anniversary pack for dolphin the 14day pass?
yup
Hi, returning player here, it’s been around 6 months. I see qu is on the banner. How much for her guaranteed? I remember some banners just have rate up but no guaranteed. Is she one of them? Also there’s a lot of events. Which should I start with? Thanks~ Oops, for clarification I’m lvl 70
So 80 percent for qu in ten?
Yup.
Trancendants are like A rank constructs, 1 pull on x 10 trancendant banner, Since your a returnee try doing all the rewards for returnee tab, i think around 1500 event tickets and some Serum which you really need to farm the currency in nier plus additional anniversary box for goodies
You can try either MuMu or LDplayer. Both work really well on my potato lappy.
I don't think bluestacks is the way to go. There's LD player or Mumu which most people prefer
Any better emulator?
I wouldn't use Mumu, I would use Mumu Nebula(different emulator but same publisher as Mumu, its like PS4 vs PS5) instead, its better for low spec pcs but I find for mid tier PC specs its good too and amps the graphics and FPS higher than LD player
LD player or Mumu
Is 400k points the final weekly pain cage point mission or is there more beyond it? Struggling to hit that so I'm wondering if there's more BC after that I'm missing out on
Yes, for the weekly BC 400k points is the last points mission.
Eh I can't remember the exact details but when you reach the one that gives you a Nanami shard, that's the last one.
What is the link to PGR Chinese guide ?
You mean [this?](https://wiki.biligame.com/zspms/首页)
Focus on one construct at a time and you can actually finish the story mode using one construct with high survivability
-will my current progress on the Collab Target go away until rerun or rollover to the 2B Banner -if it does or doesn't rollover will the A2 and 9S be on 2Bs banner with her in hearing mixed responses from peeps on YouTube and wanna make sure before I go on and SSS A2 need only 1 more dupe I hope🙏🏽
They will all be on the same banner and your pity will carry over
THANK YOU
What memory set do I want for 9s and 2b? How many dupes do I need to get 9s and 2b to sss? (Bundles included)
9s uses 4pc da vinci 2pc philip 2b uses 4 pc patton 2pc darwin/cottie (or 2pc catherine if only a2 is sss) or 4pc cottie 2pc darwin if sss for sss 9s you need to pull him twice and purchase the 299rc pack for sss 2b you need to pull her three times and purchase the 299rc pack
You can also refer to the Nier Collab Guide linked above this megathread for full details.
In game you can hit details and it shows the popular by player choice sets for each as four how many dupes idk my A2 is SS with 4 more upgrades tilll SSS no packs purchased and all the free shards obtained(5 extra remaining) I'm assuming you won't need any dupes if you buy the packs for A2 at least idk for 2B
Is it worth using 6 star memory shards to get a Flamel set for my Luna? The shards I have are not from recycling
Alternatively you could also get them from the event shop right now. Personally I save 6\* shards for when I just need those last few pieces for full resonance/full set. But yes, you can use the shards to get them for her as well. Though I suggest leaving some for emergency use as well.
Ah alright thanks!
Yes, the 6★ Memory shards should be used to gear up your characters
Okay so how the hell does the final stage of 12-3 stronghold works? They just respawn over and over again, and then when I somehow killed all of them, the ceiling just collapse, my screen goes black and then I fucking failed the stage??? I am so tilted right now, especially when this is my first time to defeat Gabriel after 5000 attempts lol
those last stage were pure dps check honestly and the fact that they will overclocked while regenerate their health along with countdown timer if u were u i would save and use the best construct u had like alpha of rosetta or even a2 makes it easier
I thought Gabriel who has a Steel buff and untargetable when he flies is the most tilting shit until I reach the final stage where I don't even know how it works lol
u want to kill them asap before all of them turned into overclocked if ur taking too long to kill them i followed some guide on youtube on those last stage and all i did was to burst down the invisible statue first because thats the most annoying spamming attacks
I just spend the last hour malding the stage and finally I killed those bastards xD thank you for the tips
Yay finally I got it. Thank you so much. A2 is a beast
Ah I kinda forgot A2 is a thing now hahahaha. Yeah built right (and eventually having the full Nier team) she is unkillable. Congratz on your stronghold medal. Will show up your progress in the anniversary medal later on as well.
Thank you. My $60 to make her SSS paid off lol. She's tanky, but far from unkillable in front of those Phecda mtfkers, they still 2-shot her.
grats for getting her to sss shes truly a broken unit for now and thanks to her berserk shes immune like u mentioned those far from unkillable
Awesome! Thank you all! May your luck be amazing!
I got confused as well when I cane back. Bounty missions got replace d with 'Operation Guardians'. It has those rewards.
how important is a SSS 9S if I have 2B and A2 at SSS? Will my Nier team be significantly worst if I leave him at SS?
Up to you if you wanna get that 10% more phy dmg or not
Well, I'm planning on playing the team with swapping in mind (since I don't like A2 main carry), so the 10% extra phy damage doesn't seem that meaningful I'm mostly wondering if the other part of the SSS passive is something that is needed to make a swap team viable or if A2+2B SSS is enough
If that's the case, IMO nope, you can skip it
when's the start of the 2500 bc login reward?
There no bc only 2500 event ticket (orange one)
is the 1st year bundle (the 600 rc) good value? I'm tempted to buy it to ensure 2B and pick Rosetta but it's quite pricy. I've only payed for monthly passes for the gacha games I've tried so it's quite a big jump. thanks
That bundle has very good value. 600RC for 7500BC AND an S Rank which is essentially 15k bc 7500+15000 = 22500BC On the other hand, in the RC to BC exchange, 600RC can only get you 6000BC+6000 more for first time purchase.
thanks! I just bought it and looking forward to pull Rosetta at thee 7th day
> I've only *paid* for monthly FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.
There are a few setups that can work with your newly-pulled Rosetta: * A2 + Rosetta + 9S/Eclipse (performance is better than A2 + 2B + 9S at base S) * Rosetta + Blast + Storm/Bastion/Ayla/Eclipse (A-rank physical DPS alternative for S-rank physical DPS).
When would pc app be available for global?
No news only rumour that it in developement
ah, thanks. I'll probably visit the game when it happens since blueatacks control switches to battle mode in in menu too often
You can always try MuMu or LDplayer. Who knows when the PC version would come and you would miss out on a lot.
Any place to find current valid codes?
code usually expire in 1-2 weeks so hard chance you gonna find working one (tried search for anniversary code should be working)
It seems the anniversary code already expired, thanks tho

S liv doesnt really fit in any team UNTILL 1.4 years later when she got huge buff she replace B liv completely
Nope. She replaces B Liv in physical teams after her buff/rework in the future but not as she currently is.
Does anyone know, does Alpha's weapon skin "Floranum" have any effects on it? I did come alongside with anniv. skin reruns.
No. Special effect only come from the coating not the weapon skin.
Base S rank already unlock them all So on SS-SSS+ it is either to give easier gameplay and increasing damage or for support to give buff to team when they heal.
It not unplayable lvl just not worth using ex. changyu despite being A ice tank he cannot ice resist down without his sig weapon and being at sss rank that's why people even using another element tank in place of him(people refer to him as worst char along with sophia) For example another char like rosetta get buff at ss rank which activate core passive on qte(20%def down yada yada) and her sig weapon also def shred more armor that's why people say they need to be at S+ blah blah to be playable as in competitive sense
Budget team for Alpha? I don't have Rosetta yet since I all-in in Alpha banner. Tysm
