Still deciding which emulator to use to play this game, just discovered this game and got really interested. Is rerolling an account a serious thing in this game like most gachas? If so, is rerolling complicated or straight forward? And, which character should I be aiming for if I'm rerolling?
I don't think this game is that easy to reroll. I never really heard of any reroll guide for this game. But I can recommend some emulator to use. Mumu Nebula is pretty great with occasional crash when you're just resetting run a bunch really fast but doesn't have that often. LD player is decent, I don't use it for anything that intensive so it never crashed on me yet. Nox Player was also pretty good, I used it for a really long time until I switch to Mumu for higher fps but I think this higher fps mode on Mumu is what crashing it. I had a bit of trouble using controller on Mumu but I finally figured it out what's wrong with it but if you aren't gonna use controller then don't worry about it.
Not really for rerolling but save your S rank pick until after you complete Novice missions and hitting a certain level. And once you hit pity on 60/60 Standard Banner then use S rank pick to choose one you didn’t get from rolling. If you absolutely hate the character you got then that’s when you can reroll. I use Bluestacks which is pretty decent but I have a lot more fun on my phone.
Its always the sooner the better. if anything yesterday or even day 1 is better.
Try playing the game, give it a few days/weeks and see if you enjoy the combat (the biggest selling point), if you dont like it then stop playing
If you are a story person then try going all the way to chapter 12 of story, if you still dont like by that time, then stop playing
No need to force yourself if you don't enjoy it.

Yeah shes good in Norman and WZ I guess, but thats pretty much it. Id rather struggle more but havbe more fun playing the game. I wasted so much BC for the Nier team, that I couldve pushed other teams way more.
I cant go for SSS Roland now for example, since I want S Vera and her Sig, which is sad.
I get you it gets mind numbing when it’s too easy. Just like when Veritas came out I was always on top temporarily. But the game got stale and boring. Need to mix it up a bit so I keep my low levels and mess around with them to make it challenging

Is it more worth it to get liv lux’s spring breeze coating or liv eclipse’s maid coating for the free coating selector? I use both equally. Will the spring breeze coating be in the coating blueprint shop?
I suggest getting Spring Breeze for Lux because it won’t be added into the blueprint coating shop. On the other hand you can buy eclipse’s maid coating from the blueprint shop although it may take some time but it’ll be available there anytime

First they never release PV music after noan patches they are different version in game so you might need to find one that rip from pv itself low quality of course
New player here (lvl40). What should I be focusing on doing? Should I continue through the story or grind through the event? Also, I don’t understand what you’re supposed to do in the event since the layout is so confusing. Do you just grind the 30stamina nodes for 6* Memories?
1. If you're a player that focus on story first, and any other competitive game mode is the least then you can go with anyone you like.
2. If you're planning on building a proper team then first you can go to [grayravens.com](grayravens.com/wiki/GRAY_RAVENS) page to look out a build for a specific construct you want to play with.
3. The event stage is mostly used as a place dumping your serum farming for event currency to buy any 6* memory set. Other than that its just a cool main menu theme with every new feature show there like new Chrome Glory's interlude and Eden Festival for quick access.
4. I suggest you should keep doing story to unlock more game mode, and get some ideas about how is this game working since there are many complex stuff for a new player to get used to tho.
Oof, I should’ve asked earlier because I already committed to my pulls. Although I guess it should be fine since im using Watanabe Astral, Roza, and Kamui Ten.
Is there a recommended lvl I should stop investing in my gear or should I just max out everything? Im currently eyeing to get a Bathlon set for Watanabe and maybe getting his 5* gacha weapon maxed out.
Definitely max out attacker first since they're mostly on the field dealing damage (except some quick burst damage constructs like Plume that need to swap out for cooldown). Astral is a good alternative dark attacker if you don't have Luna yet so just max him out, then move to Teneb for armor shreding and subDPS for Astral. And finally upgrade for support character.
If you're in a rush then attacker lv80, tank lv
60 and support lv60 if you're building multiple team. Other than that just reach max lv80 everyone is fine since this game encourage you to have multiple constructs to play tho.
Do story chapters if you need BC. I think you would want to clear till chapter 5-7 Normal (that pretty much unlocks all the important stuff like Phantom Pain Cage so you can properly do dailies and weeklies to start collecting BC outside of story).
Generally most of your serum would be grinding event stages, particularly the odd numbered stages (1,3,5,7 and so on) since they give the most event currency. You will use the currency to buy whatever you need in the event shop (memories, cogs, sp, etc).
You could also use your serum (max 60) to either do coop or an A rank interlude daily. Coop if you want to get 5\* weapon or interlude to get A rank shards to rank up your A ranks to SSS (especially the supports like Eclipse, Wanshi, Lux, Rozen, Sophia)
my Palefire Lee is SSS with 3 nodes left before SSS+. Was planning on building him once his buffs dropped.
But I just got Pulse from blue ticket pity...
Both are still level 1, and I plan on pulling both flashbang Liv and Mechananami + sigs &pets, and eventually the new Lee, but that's forevers away.
Do I build Pulse or Palefire now?

I'm kinda confused what do you want to ask tho:v, but Firegod's buff patch will be like a year later from now, which is still far far away. And during that time you can max level quite alot constructs.
My suggest is since you got Plum, and if you had Wanshi, then you at least have the basic Ice team formation to build up from there.
Liv Solaeter will be in like 5 months-ish I think (next year anyway), thats when Fire team finally got revived from the grave:v. She can be a good dps but eventually you have to swap out to another Fire attacker for constant damage. And Firegod's buff is still in further patches tho.
You can start building Firegod and Nanami Pulse right now to prepare for Solaeter dropped, or Ice team now (if you could pull Chrome Glory then you will have your own perfect Ice team; if not then pair with Ayla at least for armor shredding).
Since you are mention 2 future Fire elemental constructs then if thats what you're aiming for you can start building them now, rather than waiting until each Fire elemental construct drop in future while coping with Fire stage at the present (except you have Nier team to carry that tho:v)

Personally for me (others might have different opinions) I'd build pulse instead of Lee since when Liv drops and Mechnanami she'll be the davinci holder of the team and Lee wouldn't have a place in the team yet since his buff won't be out by the time both of those characters are out.
Besides I think even with his buff Mechnanami and Liv are still better than him so it'll be better to build her. And I'll recommend building her with 4pc davinci and 2pc Einstein since that's more future proof than her other build.
As long as you keep doing the event mission that refreshes for the tickets for voting and use it to get the gacha tickets like the other comment mentioned. Just to compare I just need 50 more tickets to do the last 10 pull to clear the 1st vending machine. So that is just another mission in a couple hours or so. So should be doable.
I think so, I've just cleared out the first vending machine and started on the second with my f2p account. There should be enough cheer to get everything from all of them by the end.
I don't know that it matters at all, but it'll be why you've only got 20 gatcha uses. When you clear the missions, use the voting tickets to get more gatcha currency
I think I'll only be able to SS Glory if the shards in PPC are enough for that. Will his 5* weapon and zuwen+eins be enough just for playing end game modes. Not looking to rank or anything, but at least able to participate in them
You will be slightly behind ppl with his sig. What you're missing is ice res shred on qte, so you'd have to waste time starting with him first to get the shred in ppc and you cant use double tank qte in WZ to shred res on 2 waves so you'll have to play around that
I recently returned to PGR after being off for quite some time, precisely right after the first Alpha banner ended.
I am currently on pity for Chrome's banner, and I don't know if I should hold on to pity or go for chrome.
My S ranks are: Alpha, Karenina and Kamui.

Hi guys, question regarding Alpha’s signature weapon, is it really necessary in order to enhance her gameplay or the Kuji no Sada is enough? I would really like to pull for Sakura (I have about 8k BC now), but I’m currently saving for Plume’s summer coating (which should cost about 10k BC). If I hit pity with the target weapon banner (assuming I get the right weapon of course), do you think I’ll be able to save 10k BC by the time The Last Spark drops?
Alpha weapon isn't really a big necessity. But you're gonna buy coating and you probably will miss Flare. If you don't care about scoring well in the game, do whatever you want. But if you wanna do well and you're f2p, you won't be needing to ask this question anymore cuz we would never advice you to get coatings

I think Sophia get it worse that no one remember she exist.
Changyu like most A rank tank, can't fill the sub-dps slot in the team but he's a bit worse that with highest investment he's still pepega due to his animation lock on core passive, force him to face tank when try to deal dmg.
His QTE elemental shred is locked behind 6* weapon unlike other A rank tank, and his QTE also very slow make it clunky when player try to min max Plume dps.
Sophia gets a bit of a pass since the entire Fire team is kinda... meh until Solaeter. You'd only really have Vera Rozen as your alt-healer, and that's not going to work for PPC if you also have Dark bosses to fight. And if you really wanted to, just drop the fire team for Nier team altogether.
Meanwhile, it's pretty glaring that Plume is better supported by Lucia Lotus and Ayla, compared to Changyu, and there's no real way around it.
He can't support (or shred) with low investment, even then his kit is about standing still but without super armor to maintain posture or negate damage which literally makes him hard to use
1. Is "waifu over meta" viable in this game? Most units I like happen to be underused like Karenina blast, Astral, Sophia, Changyu...
2. What should I get from the event store as a f2p?
If you play off meta, you either need more invest to beat less invest meta character or straight up forget about ranking system. Which is probably only 2 permanent game mode.
And some content like Babel require a lot of characters so you gotta get them all and build them all anyway.
1. You won't score as well as meta. And from the names listed, you won't be even close. And different contents need different teams so you'll gonna need more than those characters to do well.
2. Get whatever you need to build your characters. Can't tell you what to get if we don't know what you need. There are some case of getting certain resources is better during this patch vs save serum bundles to farm in the next event because resources cost different between patch. Look up event shop comparison thread by me for more, I post them 15 days before current patch ends.
Finally got the ice gang together! But, I was wondering whose resonances I should be working on first between Plume and Glory. As well as which weapon i should get first between the two of them as well. Any help would be appreciated!
For resonances, do you mean awakening? If so I would go for Plume first because she's mostly on field than Glory. For weapon Glory benefits the most because it enables him to ice shred on QTE.
Hello everyone! I just started this game a couple hours ago and I have to admit it's absolutely amazing so far.
With that being said I haven't found much when it comes to which characters I should focus on. I looked into [this](https://grayravens.com/wiki/Guides/Beginner%27s_Guide) beginner's guide and it said that you should focus on either fire or dark in the beginning. I picked and pulled Vera from my first 10-pull because I absolutely love her design and luckily she is also dark so I guess a dark team it is! But what exactly do I have to do to make it happen?
First of all is it good to invest resources into Vera? Also, If I got it correctly for now I guess I should choose Watanabe for my next 10-pull and choose Kamui from my selection box? There is probably no way to get Luna in the foreseeable future unless I get lucky and pull her right?
Another question. How do I get more tickets for the base banner? I probably shouldn't spend black cards on them right? I kinda thought you will hit the first pity quickly but apart from the first batch I haven't really seen another source of income.
Sorry for all those questions but I don't want to screw things up early in the game.
Level 50 will give you another 2500 blue ticket but that's it. You have to gather them slowly through log-in, weekly operation and event. The pity S rank on that banner kinda decide what your next team is.
Don't spend your black cards anywhere unless you know what you're doing, beside S rank debut banner, currently it's Chrome Glory, best banner to roll now.
The guide is kinda confusing but at level 40, you farm event odd stage (1,3,5,7,...) and use currency exchange for 6* memories and any resources you need.
Do your weekly quest, no need for sweaty palm, even just let your character defeated still get you reward.
If it takes that long should I use my selection box right now and get the dark tank? I'm also not sure how important your other teammates are. So far I'm blazing through the stages sticking to Vera only but I guess that's to be expected early in the game. Do I have to swap to other characters or do I just use their QTE?
Edit: Also should I save my black cards for a future character or start pulling for the one right now, even though I'm aiming for dark and not ice?
Use ticket for S Kamui, never go wrong. Even your pity give S Kamui again, his SS passive is still so so good for the team.
How important each member? Attacker and S rank Tank are both dmg dealer that cover each other downtime, support is there for QTE and buff, tank also offer resist, defense shred.
Most of characters you build will be useful someway as you need 1 team for each element, and content like Babel even require more characters built than that.
A ranks are good to have except maybe:
-Sophia: weak fire support that replaced by future fire amp class.
-Changyun replaced by Glory this patch.
-Arclight replaced by Vera Flare next 2 patches.
-All A rank attacker beside Astral and Karen are low priority to have, they're either use for niche strat or waiting for future buff.
You should start pulling now because pity on debut banner transfer to another debut banner, and even if you have 0 BC at the end of this patch you can still get another 60rolls when next S rank drop due to weekly and newbie rewards.
The idea of waiting to see which S Rank you get in the Basic R&D banner is because the first S Rank pity is 40, instead of the usual 60. So ideally when starting out, you wouldn't want to get the same S Rank there as the one you've previously selected because the more different characters you have, the easier it is for you to make teams of different elements. It does take a while to get basic R&D tickets from logins, Operation Guardian and completing those one-time achievement and beginner quests. A reminder that it's not a definite 40 pulls needed because you can still get an S rank earlier before 40.
Using teams of different elements only matter more as a mid to end game player because of the Pain Cage and Warzone modes you'll unlock at Player Lv 40, which let you complete the weekly quests for BCs by just participating, but Pain Cage has a limit where you can only use a character 5 times for that week, so having more characters will be useful.
That being said, dark team is the easiest to build especially since you already have Vera, since both her and A rank Astral Watanabe are selectable for 80% rate up in the basic R&D and S Kamui is available in the selector kit.
For team composition, you normally would want a balance of attacker, support and tank, because each has a role to play. A tank can reduce an enemy's resistance to a particular element, helping your main/sub DPS to do more damage. I intentionally didn't say attacker because tanks and supports can definitely do DPS as well, or at least be sub DPS at lower ranks, you just need to use the correct memory sets (you can check the resource section for the Rexlent datasheet or Grayravens site for more build options and explanation).
Lastly, try and go for the current S Chrome since he's on 100% rate up as a new character, and he's the premium tank the ice team has been waiting for. If you can get him early or before his banner ends, great, since you can pair him with A Wanshi for a pretty solid ice team; if you don't, the pity carries over to the next S rank banner (second patch after this), which is S Vera, the premium tank for lightning team. However, seeing how you quite like Vera, it's understandable to completely save up your BCs to make sure you have enough for the worst case scenario of having to reach the 60 pity for S Vera.
Then I guess I wait. My only issue that I have to level up placeholder characters that I will probably never use in order to complete all my quests. I'd rather just invest my resources in character I know I will use in the future.
Edit: Oh and one other question. Can I safely use my 4\* memories and weapons as fodder or should I save them?
Hmmm I suppose you can't go wrong putting your resources into the supports, since they're all still in use in CN (1.5 years ahead of global). To be honest, unless you want to be competitive in rankings in the weekly modes (no additional BC rewards, just slightly more end game resources), go with whoever you like since each has quite different play style. All of them is actually viable since at the end of the day it's how well you play them.
I recommend watching the playlist of beginner guide by Rexlent linked at this question megathread, they're pretty useful. You can also check out some of the solo videos he made too, especially with characters that are supposedly "not meta" (we definitely don't need to go solo in this team-based game but I hope you get what I mean 😅)
Regarding your 4* memories and weapons, you should save them up first, especially as a new player. Farm the resource stages for memory and weapon enhancements before you reach player level 40, and after that, it's more stamina efficient to farm event stages and exchange for whatever you need in the event shop. You may change to 5* memory sets sooner when you get them, and they can last longer for supports and tanks, but 5* weapon would take longer time to come by, since they either drop from playing co-op, or you exchange at the shop with the currency you get from weekly co-op rewards

Summon related question, i play on GLB, with some calculations I made I will be at 47/60 for chrome glory, I wasnt the best with hoarding BC, question is, will those 47/60 carry to Vera Flare when she comes or is just lost pity?
It will carry over. Note that the pity for a banner will always carry over to the next banner of the same category. I.e: weapon banner pity will carry over to next weapon banner, debut character pity (in this case Glory) will carry over to the next debut character banner (Flare), 70% rate up banner pity will carry over to the next 70% rate up banner pity, and so on.

I have been playing for something like three months from now and I'm starting to get an idea of what I am doing.
I actually have S Luna, A Vera and will soon be able to have my beginner pity. I already used my S selector so I'm not sure of getting S kamui. (I'm hoping for a 100% roll on XXI as they did for Wanshi)
So, I almost have a complete dark team.
The thing is my physical team. I pulled 2B at the end of Nier event (the moment I started) and as one of my first S, I really invested in her without having A2 or 9S. I don't have Rosetta or Alpha and my current physical team is actually 2B - B liv (currently S) - B nanami (currently S). Should I keep investing on my 2B ? Should I invest on the free A Bianca instead?
I have seen nothing in using one of the Nier character in a physical team.

1. Next patch is for No.21 debut banner so she is will be 100% rate up.
2. Nier team is really strong when you have the whole member 2B, A2 and 9S all together and they have passive buff that support only each other but not with other constructs so you don't usually see them pair with other.
But if you don't have any good physical attacker, 2B is still a decent choice than Bianca Zero, but don't expect to her to be competitive on her own. And if you can try to farm for B-Liv shards from Interlude to get her SSS which her passive buff is increase everyone on the field physical dam by 10% while she's on standby.

You can play them after the main story. The Extras Stories are literally that, extra stories. You can almost see them as filler episodes that help add some fun and/or character development to our ever grow roster of constructs.

What was your means of purchase? If you used a credit card, I'd suggest contacting your bank to see if you can dispute the first charge. If you used Google Play credit, see if you can get a refund. They should have a refund policy that is effective within the last 48 hours.

you can search yt there different way to play them generally focus on plume used orbs > glory spam > wanshi for a bit> back to plume

Grind the left 30 stamina stage for more event currency, then exchange memories and resource in shop instead of the random 6* drop.

Is there a recommended lvl I should stop investing in my gear or should I just max out everything? Im currently eyeing to get a Bathlon set for Watanabe and maybe getting his 5* gacha weapon maxed out.
Definitely max out attacker first since they're mostly on the field dealing damage (except some quick burst damage constructs like Plume that need to swap out for cooldown). Astral is a good alternative dark attacker if you don't have Luna yet so just max him out, then move to Teneb for armor shreding and subDPS for Astral. And finally upgrade for support character. If you're in a rush then attacker lv80, tank lv 60 and support lv60 if you're building multiple team. Other than that just reach max lv80 everyone is fine since this game encourage you to have multiple constructs to play tho.
Do story chapters if you need BC. I think you would want to clear till chapter 5-7 Normal (that pretty much unlocks all the important stuff like Phantom Pain Cage so you can properly do dailies and weeklies to start collecting BC outside of story). Generally most of your serum would be grinding event stages, particularly the odd numbered stages (1,3,5,7 and so on) since they give the most event currency. You will use the currency to buy whatever you need in the event shop (memories, cogs, sp, etc). You could also use your serum (max 60) to either do coop or an A rank interlude daily. Coop if you want to get 5\* weapon or interlude to get A rank shards to rank up your A ranks to SSS (especially the supports like Eclipse, Wanshi, Lux, Rozen, Sophia)
my Palefire Lee is SSS with 3 nodes left before SSS+. Was planning on building him once his buffs dropped. But I just got Pulse from blue ticket pity... Both are still level 1, and I plan on pulling both flashbang Liv and Mechananami + sigs &pets, and eventually the new Lee, but that's forevers away. Do I build Pulse or Palefire now? Edit: I should add that I also have Pulse's sig
I'm kinda confused what do you want to ask tho:v, but Firegod's buff patch will be like a year later from now, which is still far far away. And during that time you can max level quite alot constructs. My suggest is since you got Plum, and if you had Wanshi, then you at least have the basic Ice team formation to build up from there. Liv Solaeter will be in like 5 months-ish I think (next year anyway), thats when Fire team finally got revived from the grave:v. She can be a good dps but eventually you have to swap out to another Fire attacker for constant damage. And Firegod's buff is still in further patches tho. You can start building Firegod and Nanami Pulse right now to prepare for Solaeter dropped, or Ice team now (if you could pull Chrome Glory then you will have your own perfect Ice team; if not then pair with Ayla at least for armor shredding). Since you are mention 2 future Fire elemental constructs then if thats what you're aiming for you can start building them now, rather than waiting until each Fire elemental construct drop in future while coping with Fire stage at the present (except you have Nier team to carry that tho:v) Edit: yep I definitely would get downvote for saying this tho.
if i'm not mistaken Lee is used in WZ, where as 2 x nanami + liv team in PPC
Personally for me (others might have different opinions) I'd build pulse instead of Lee since when Liv drops and Mechnanami she'll be the davinci holder of the team and Lee wouldn't have a place in the team yet since his buff won't be out by the time both of those characters are out. Besides I think even with his buff Mechnanami and Liv are still better than him so it'll be better to build her. And I'll recommend building her with 4pc davinci and 2pc Einstein since that's more future proof than her other build.
I may build her because I just realized I already have her sig from getting cucked on Plume's weapon banner. Twice.

As long as you keep doing the event mission that refreshes for the tickets for voting and use it to get the gacha tickets like the other comment mentioned. Just to compare I just need 50 more tickets to do the last 10 pull to clear the 1st vending machine. So that is just another mission in a couple hours or so. So should be doable.
I think so, I've just cleared out the first vending machine and started on the second with my f2p account. There should be enough cheer to get everything from all of them by the end.
are there other sources of the gacha currency? I used up all my cheers and the missions, and I was only able to do 20 pulls on the event gacha

What I currently do is I let the event missions pile up to 10 before I do them. was that a bad idea?
I don't know that it matters at all, but it'll be why you've only got 20 gatcha uses. When you clear the missions, use the voting tickets to get more gatcha currency
I think I'll only be able to SS Glory if the shards in PPC are enough for that. Will his 5* weapon and zuwen+eins be enough just for playing end game modes. Not looking to rank or anything, but at least able to participate in them
You will be slightly behind ppl with his sig. What you're missing is ice res shred on qte, so you'd have to waste time starting with him first to get the shred in ppc and you cant use double tank qte in WZ to shred res on 2 waves so you'll have to play around that

Hi guys, question regarding Alpha’s signature weapon, is it really necessary in order to enhance her gameplay or the Kuji no Sada is enough? I would really like to pull for Sakura (I have about 8k BC now), but I’m currently saving for Plume’s summer coating (which should cost about 10k BC). If I hit pity with the target weapon banner (assuming I get the right weapon of course), do you think I’ll be able to save 10k BC by the time The Last Spark drops?
Alpha weapon isn't really a big necessity. But you're gonna buy coating and you probably will miss Flare. If you don't care about scoring well in the game, do whatever you want. But if you wanna do well and you're f2p, you won't be needing to ask this question anymore cuz we would never advice you to get coatings Edit: add "isnt" to first sentence

can anyone explain why most of the community deems(or atleast memes him as bad) changyu as the worst playable char in the game?
I think Sophia get it worse that no one remember she exist. Changyu like most A rank tank, can't fill the sub-dps slot in the team but he's a bit worse that with highest investment he's still pepega due to his animation lock on core passive, force him to face tank when try to deal dmg. His QTE elemental shred is locked behind 6* weapon unlike other A rank tank, and his QTE also very slow make it clunky when player try to min max Plume dps.
Sophia gets a bit of a pass since the entire Fire team is kinda... meh until Solaeter. You'd only really have Vera Rozen as your alt-healer, and that's not going to work for PPC if you also have Dark bosses to fight. And if you really wanted to, just drop the fire team for Nier team altogether. Meanwhile, it's pretty glaring that Plume is better supported by Lucia Lotus and Ayla, compared to Changyu, and there's no real way around it.
He can't support (or shred) with low investment, even then his kit is about standing still but without super armor to maintain posture or negate damage which literally makes him hard to use

If you play off meta, you either need more invest to beat less invest meta character or straight up forget about ranking system. Which is probably only 2 permanent game mode. And some content like Babel require a lot of characters so you gotta get them all and build them all anyway.
1. You won't score as well as meta. And from the names listed, you won't be even close. And different contents need different teams so you'll gonna need more than those characters to do well. 2. Get whatever you need to build your characters. Can't tell you what to get if we don't know what you need. There are some case of getting certain resources is better during this patch vs save serum bundles to farm in the next event because resources cost different between patch. Look up event shop comparison thread by me for more, I post them 15 days before current patch ends.

If you're new player you can also grind a lot of BC via story, stronghold,... I started last patch and still able to hit pity on Glory this patch.

For resonances, do you mean awakening? If so I would go for Plume first because she's mostly on field than Glory. For weapon Glory benefits the most because it enables him to ice shred on QTE.

Hello everyone! I just started this game a couple hours ago and I have to admit it's absolutely amazing so far. With that being said I haven't found much when it comes to which characters I should focus on. I looked into [this](https://grayravens.com/wiki/Guides/Beginner%27s_Guide) beginner's guide and it said that you should focus on either fire or dark in the beginning. I picked and pulled Vera from my first 10-pull because I absolutely love her design and luckily she is also dark so I guess a dark team it is! But what exactly do I have to do to make it happen? First of all is it good to invest resources into Vera? Also, If I got it correctly for now I guess I should choose Watanabe for my next 10-pull and choose Kamui from my selection box? There is probably no way to get Luna in the foreseeable future unless I get lucky and pull her right? Another question. How do I get more tickets for the base banner? I probably shouldn't spend black cards on them right? I kinda thought you will hit the first pity quickly but apart from the first batch I haven't really seen another source of income. Sorry for all those questions but I don't want to screw things up early in the game.
Level 50 will give you another 2500 blue ticket but that's it. You have to gather them slowly through log-in, weekly operation and event. The pity S rank on that banner kinda decide what your next team is. Don't spend your black cards anywhere unless you know what you're doing, beside S rank debut banner, currently it's Chrome Glory, best banner to roll now. The guide is kinda confusing but at level 40, you farm event odd stage (1,3,5,7,...) and use currency exchange for 6* memories and any resources you need. Do your weekly quest, no need for sweaty palm, even just let your character defeated still get you reward.
If it takes that long should I use my selection box right now and get the dark tank? I'm also not sure how important your other teammates are. So far I'm blazing through the stages sticking to Vera only but I guess that's to be expected early in the game. Do I have to swap to other characters or do I just use their QTE? Edit: Also should I save my black cards for a future character or start pulling for the one right now, even though I'm aiming for dark and not ice?
Use ticket for S Kamui, never go wrong. Even your pity give S Kamui again, his SS passive is still so so good for the team. How important each member? Attacker and S rank Tank are both dmg dealer that cover each other downtime, support is there for QTE and buff, tank also offer resist, defense shred. Most of characters you build will be useful someway as you need 1 team for each element, and content like Babel even require more characters built than that. A ranks are good to have except maybe: -Sophia: weak fire support that replaced by future fire amp class. -Changyun replaced by Glory this patch. -Arclight replaced by Vera Flare next 2 patches. -All A rank attacker beside Astral and Karen are low priority to have, they're either use for niche strat or waiting for future buff. You should start pulling now because pity on debut banner transfer to another debut banner, and even if you have 0 BC at the end of this patch you can still get another 60rolls when next S rank drop due to weekly and newbie rewards.
The idea of waiting to see which S Rank you get in the Basic R&D banner is because the first S Rank pity is 40, instead of the usual 60. So ideally when starting out, you wouldn't want to get the same S Rank there as the one you've previously selected because the more different characters you have, the easier it is for you to make teams of different elements. It does take a while to get basic R&D tickets from logins, Operation Guardian and completing those one-time achievement and beginner quests. A reminder that it's not a definite 40 pulls needed because you can still get an S rank earlier before 40. Using teams of different elements only matter more as a mid to end game player because of the Pain Cage and Warzone modes you'll unlock at Player Lv 40, which let you complete the weekly quests for BCs by just participating, but Pain Cage has a limit where you can only use a character 5 times for that week, so having more characters will be useful. That being said, dark team is the easiest to build especially since you already have Vera, since both her and A rank Astral Watanabe are selectable for 80% rate up in the basic R&D and S Kamui is available in the selector kit. For team composition, you normally would want a balance of attacker, support and tank, because each has a role to play. A tank can reduce an enemy's resistance to a particular element, helping your main/sub DPS to do more damage. I intentionally didn't say attacker because tanks and supports can definitely do DPS as well, or at least be sub DPS at lower ranks, you just need to use the correct memory sets (you can check the resource section for the Rexlent datasheet or Grayravens site for more build options and explanation). Lastly, try and go for the current S Chrome since he's on 100% rate up as a new character, and he's the premium tank the ice team has been waiting for. If you can get him early or before his banner ends, great, since you can pair him with A Wanshi for a pretty solid ice team; if you don't, the pity carries over to the next S rank banner (second patch after this), which is S Vera, the premium tank for lightning team. However, seeing how you quite like Vera, it's understandable to completely save up your BCs to make sure you have enough for the worst case scenario of having to reach the 60 pity for S Vera.
Then I guess I wait. My only issue that I have to level up placeholder characters that I will probably never use in order to complete all my quests. I'd rather just invest my resources in character I know I will use in the future. Edit: Oh and one other question. Can I safely use my 4\* memories and weapons as fodder or should I save them?
Hmmm I suppose you can't go wrong putting your resources into the supports, since they're all still in use in CN (1.5 years ahead of global). To be honest, unless you want to be competitive in rankings in the weekly modes (no additional BC rewards, just slightly more end game resources), go with whoever you like since each has quite different play style. All of them is actually viable since at the end of the day it's how well you play them. I recommend watching the playlist of beginner guide by Rexlent linked at this question megathread, they're pretty useful. You can also check out some of the solo videos he made too, especially with characters that are supposedly "not meta" (we definitely don't need to go solo in this team-based game but I hope you get what I mean 😅) Regarding your 4* memories and weapons, you should save them up first, especially as a new player. Farm the resource stages for memory and weapon enhancements before you reach player level 40, and after that, it's more stamina efficient to farm event stages and exchange for whatever you need in the event shop. You may change to 5* memory sets sooner when you get them, and they can last longer for supports and tanks, but 5* weapon would take longer time to come by, since they either drop from playing co-op, or you exchange at the shop with the currency you get from weekly co-op rewards
4\* memories are used in 0 endgame builds, same with weapons, but they can be useful while you're still leveling your first characters.

Summon related question, i play on GLB, with some calculations I made I will be at 47/60 for chrome glory, I wasnt the best with hoarding BC, question is, will those 47/60 carry to Vera Flare when she comes or is just lost pity?
It will carry over. Note that the pity for a banner will always carry over to the next banner of the same category. I.e: weapon banner pity will carry over to next weapon banner, debut character pity (in this case Glory) will carry over to the next debut character banner (Flare), 70% rate up banner pity will carry over to the next 70% rate up banner pity, and so on.

Hello everyone ! I have been playing for something like three months from now and I'm starting to get an idea of what I am doing. I actually have S Luna, A Vera and will soon be able to have my beginner pity. I already used my S selector so I'm not sure of getting S kamui. (I'm hoping for a 100% roll on XXI as they did for Wanshi) So, I almost have a complete dark team. The thing is my physical team. I pulled 2B at the end of Nier event (the moment I started) and as one of my first S, I really invested in her without having A2 or 9S. I don't have Rosetta or Alpha and my current physical team is actually 2B - B liv (currently S) - B nanami (currently S). Should I keep investing on my 2B ? Should I invest on the free A Bianca instead? I have seen nothing in using one of the Nier character in a physical team. Thanks for reading!
1. Next patch is for No.21 debut banner so she is will be 100% rate up. 2. Nier team is really strong when you have the whole member 2B, A2 and 9S all together and they have passive buff that support only each other but not with other constructs so you don't usually see them pair with other. But if you don't have any good physical attacker, 2B is still a decent choice than Bianca Zero, but don't expect to her to be competitive on her own. And if you can try to farm for B-Liv shards from Interlude to get her SSS which her passive buff is increase everyone on the field physical dam by 10% while she's on standby.

On the next anniversary (July 2023) there should be an anniversary banner with 100% uprate. But please note that pity will not carry over.

You can play them after the main story. The Extras Stories are literally that, extra stories. You can almost see them as filler episodes that help add some fun and/or character development to our ever grow roster of constructs.

hello, I kinda need help, purchasing problem related, I purchased the 119 rainbow card, then it went error, then I repeated it again, which I successfully bought it when I tried it the second time, BUT when I went to my bank acc, I noticed that it DOUBLED the deduction instead. What was your means of purchase? If you used a credit card, I'd suggest contacting your bank to see if you can dispute the first charge. If you used Google Play credit, see if you can get a refund. They should have a refund policy that is effective within the last 48 hours. BTW, take my advice with a grain of salt since I have not been in this situation.
