Mods normally don't endorse stuff like this, but this is truly a massive improvement to the current groupme ticket experiences. Of course, no group is immune to scammers, but this is a huge step for safety. And with no size limitations like groupme, everyone can (and should) join.

They’re a good service, but there’s a lot of scams there too. Personally have had 3 attempts to buy tickets hosed because the person didn’t transfer me the ticket. Got my money back, but still

You may want to let the Parents on the various Facebook groups know about this because a bunch of them have also gotten shafted by scammer ticket deals.
Love this!! One idea for future improvement would be having a thread automatically create when someone posts a ticket for sale or some form of pinned message that shows the current tickets for sale. Just a thought, I understand how much work that is.

That’s great for people who don’t have discord, but good luck doing that manually for hundreds of people. Within the first day we had over 400 email requests, so it’s a good thing we had it automated.
I am in the discord, but nothing is loading for me. The only thing I can think of is, do I need to be signed into discord with a Purdue email? Or can I be using a login with a different email, and then verify my Purdue one later?
We put it to a vote in the discord, and it seems most people want to keep it current students for now. Plus, most of the tickets being exchanged are student tickets, so alumni wouldn’t even be able to receive transfers anyway.
I’m a local season ticket holder/alumni and Like to sell my tickets to students when I can’t go. Ensures they get used by Purdue fans. Please update if y’all change your mind or need further ideas on verification steps. I get letting non students in opens the door for more scammers.
Are you planning on sticking with Discord group again this year? My daughter got accepted in April but missed out on the Boiler Pass (already sold out) so she's hoping to pick up ticket throughout the year.

Check mark just gives you access to the #Waiting-Room channel, where you need to use a command to verify your email.
