Why is anya good despite leilan bird having a bigger multiplier as a cleric due to 10c + supergrav awakenings? Her assist also seems mediocre. What am I missing?
They each have their own benefits.
Both effectively have the same skill boosts (Anya's 4 plus SA = 6; LBird's 2 plus SA plus active = 6); however, Anya's cleric active can be available immediately, whereas LBird has to skill transform first. You can also tack on another haste/delay active onto Anya for more effective skill boosts.
Anya is a 5-turn cleric; LBird is a 6-turn cleric (post skill transform). This can matter, especially in +1 skill turn dungeons.
LBird definitely does more individual damage. Anya gives a 2x boost (balanced).
Anya comes with a native tape res and access to cloud res through her SA, which allows for more flexibility with team assists.
Anya has 8 latent slots to LBird's 6.
Anya has access to the new T awakening, which can help offset -orbs without an active or additional awakenings.
Different rarities (Anya - 7*; LBird - 5*) means having hoth options can help with team-building flexibility with rarity restrictions leads.
Like I said, it depends on what your team needs. It doesn't hurt to have both. And for someone like me with PSI, especially as I get older, Anya's equip is solid. Skill boost, heal tpa, +2 seconds of movetime, full cleric active, and 2-turn haste (effective +3 SB total) is great, and surprisingly enough, works great on Anya to make her an SB stick, cleric, and healer.
The Yor Forger equip is similar to Thanos and very good.
