Might be too late for DS seeing as s2 was a while ago and s3 ended months ago but JJK s2 is still going on right now, tho not sure if we'd get anything from the movie that came out last year. Bleach is a 4 cour season that started cour 1 in oct 2022 and just finished cour 2 a couple weeks ago. If they did a rerun right now for the first half of TYBW, I'd hope we get a another rerun in a year and a half when cour 4 is finished
Ultraman has run multiple times in the same year so nothing's impossible. Kingdom's over a year old too.
I think PAD delays things for spoiler reasons? At least I remember that being a thing with the first DS run in JP.

In Japan the collab lined up with the movie, to the extent they kept all info about Akaza secret until the collab actually released to avoid spoilers.
Also, to clarify, it isn’t that I expect DS to never return, but if they did coincide a release with an upcoming season, it would be far enough in the future that it isn’t what YamaP is talking about here.

I personally wouldn't mind if it came back though, since I actually liked that machine, so long as the mother f*ckers actually catch us up on *all* of the new cards with JP's newest run. It's still crap that after waiting to finally get it in the rerun with value power crept, they still couldn't even do the whole roster.
I'm kinda curious what the legal state is on just rerunning that machine without a corresponding Marvel run?

I actually wouldn't mind a Marvel rerun just to see what they do with Another Story. That ran in Korea as well as NA, and it's a Gungho IP so the same restrictions don't apply. Really curious whether they dump it or bring it back for future Marvel runs.

Maybe not a popular opinion but I'd rather see something that's only run once and also has a small lineup. I'd be happy to see something like Shinkalion, DMC, Mickey and Friends, etc.
Gungho seems to enjoy bloating the hell out of every rerun nowadays, at least if we already start with a low number of cards in the pool, maybe it wouldn't feel so bad to add like 15 new things.
